  • First own car with 26 for max. 10000 €

Hi dear forum community, I am 26 years old and plan to buy my first own car in August. A few informations: – Savings ~10000 € (but would hate to spend all savings, would be better 8000 €) – Net wage from August 1200 € (after 6 months most likely more than double) – Expenditures from August without car/Sprit/etc 600 € – Annual drive ~20000 km, of which 75% on the highway (preferred speed 130-140 km/h, remaining kilometers of highway and small (but not mandatory): – Automatic transmission (but nothing like Toyota’s MMT transmission…) – Automatic climate control – Xenon I have previously driven (but not possessed) in my driver’s career: – Several months Corolla E11 1.3 Automatic – Several days Auris 1.6 MMT – Few days Astra H 1.7 CDTI – Several days Golf V 1.9 TDI – Several days Almera Tino 2.2 dCi – A few hours E 46 330D – A few hours Aston Martin V8 Vantage I liked the Corolla E11 automatic…comfortable, robust and uncomplicated (and with merciless 86 ps and without air conditioning!), but loud and spongy on the highway beyond the 120 km/h. As a rental car on a business trip I also liked the Astra H, especially the low consumption. So far I tend to an Astra H GTC 1.7 CDTI, Corsa D 1.3 CDTI or an older Corolla Diesel. What would you buy o what can you recommend to me? I am open for as good as any suggestion! 🙂 Greetings and thank you for your answers! Damkoehler

  • Search spacious successors for W210

Moin! Unfortunately, my Mercedes E240 has said goodbye as a total damage. I need a new car with large space and all safety-relevant features such as ABS, ESP etc. Use: daily to work (22km), vacation, leisure, shopping Space: 2 children in the back, two large adults in the front and sometimes a small adult in the back, in addition there should be enough space in the trunk for a buggy and a few bags. 12-13Tsd KM/year Engine: I think gasoline makes more sense.Min. 150 HP Absolutely: automatic, seat heating, PDC, climate, cup holder, leather steering wheel Nice to have: rear drive, AHK KM: not so important when cared for and maintained follow-up costs: ideally a vehicle that is not known for extravagant rocket technology with expensive follow-up costs. Wear and maintenance should be carried out/resolved by any normal workshop with manageable effort. h would not like: Opel Vectra/Opel Signum Budget: 6000,- What can you recommend to me? Also concrete suggestions in the greater Hamburg area. Thanks Timmy Deluxe

  • BMW330d or Audi A4 3.0 218PS

Hello, for now I am very grateful for this forum. I’ve read a lot here and I’m really impressed 🙂 But I can’t get any further with my current question. I’m just allowed to put together a new company car with budget – selection should now be made between the BMW330d (Heck) or A4 3.0 Quattro TDI 218PS. Price-wise I’m in the same direction with a similar equipment (sports seats, seat heating, small Navi, few smaller extras) and I’m in the same direction. The Audi with 272hp doesn’t fit. I’m currently driving a 318d so the car gets much stronger. Generally, I like the Audi optically better, handling from the Navi I find somehow more user-friendly at the BMW. Would be grateful about opinions! Can’t really decide. And sorry that I opened a new thread – but could not find at least the same one. Thank you in advance!

  • BMW for a 25-year-old

Hi. I’m looking for a new car. I’m currently driving a BMW e46 with 318 hp. Since I’ve been driving a taxi at night shift for a year and I’m always travelling privately abroad, I have a lot of driving practice. Now I want to get a new car (BMW), because my current car is 15 years old and I also want something newer and stronger. I always wanted to get a Z4 E89, but since I’m getting my new car at 3-5 years of age I’m looking for a new car. I am afraid that I will have to sell the car directly after the end of the loan or maybe even during the loan period and in the end have made a bad business. At the moment I rarely drive more than another person and the trunk would probably be long at the Z4, but is it also suitable for long distances like Paris etc.? And the lack of everyday fitness would disturb me. In addition, the inflexibility with only two seats – nevertheless it is my dream car. My girlfriend and family thinks against that that does not fit if I want to start a family in a few years. Now the question arises to me which car I should get for it. It should be a BMW, which fits both into the current life but then also later, so as far as possible four seats but also neatly PS. I think of 2, 3 or 4 BMW. I want this with automatic transmission and >200 P S. It should not have run more than 70t km and it should be a gasoline engine. I am willing to spend <28000€ (credit over ~3-5/6 years) Do you have feedback on my idea/stimulation/proposals? LG

  • Search new Compact – Golf vs 308 vs Auris vs ?

Hi! I’m looking for a new everyday car. So far I drive a Golf 5 1.4 with 75hp Bj.2003, which I bought in autumn 2004. I don’t drive much, about 8-10tkm p.a. about 75% of it is short distance well below 10km. Actually it would also do me a small car, but I like to have a little more car around me, usually the Comapkt class is also much more comfortable at the same time. Motorization is not so important to me, the 75hp have been enough for everything so far, more than 100hp need I don’t. The maintenance should be cheap. For fun I have another car in the garage, but is only a two-seater. With the equipment I am not so picky either, 5 doors, radio and a climate is enough for me. Now I am choosing, there are some cars that promise me externally. The three above mentioned are which are really torn back and forth. A golf is certainly not bad – but is the one that I like the least optically. :Eck: Find the Peugeot 308 I like the Ford Focus only as a combo, but I’m not looking for the Opel Astra in general. Which cars are recommended? Budget 1800€ – I would also like to buy a young 2016er 308 with less than 10tkm for 13000€. Thanks for your tips! I’m very happy to have a car with the Opel Astra.

  • Sales advice VW TDI

Hello dear community, I’m thinking about buying a VW Polo 9N3 1.4 TDI or VW Polo 6R 1.6 TDI. Is the 1.2 TDI CR anything at all? Before that with the ZMS is a familiar problem. I don’t care how the consumption is as well as the Euro standard whether 4 or 5. Rather how does it look with the wear from known problems e.g. injectors high pressure pump Turbo etc. foreseeable life. Have 3 to choose a few dates written down. And please no talk of gasoline with the Fz. with the Fz. become approx. 20Tkm a year, maybe a little bit more. What are your experiences: 1.4 TDI PD EZ:2008 ca. 95Tkm 1.6 TDI CR EZ:2009/2010 ca. 150Tkm If someone has a proposal which vehicle manufacturers are still good or better in the diesel sector I would also be happy. Until now, VW is best of the quality from the area. Would I be happy about a few answers.

  • Light chassis for up to 3.5t total weight

Hello, I am looking for a suitable chassis for the development of a small world travel/expedition vehicle. It should be suitable up to a total weight of 3.5t and a total length of less than 5m. Are there big differences in the stability and weight of such chassises, and which one has the lowest own weight, and can therefore take up the largest load? With warm thanks in advance! manoka

  • New diesel reform relevant for used car purchase?

Hi guys, I’m new here in the forum so excuse me please make newcomer shoes. I’m ready to buy a used car. Up to now it looks like a BMW X1 Diesel or a BMW 3 Series Diesel. According to my mother, I should rather buy a petrol truck, because I can no longer drive a diesel in German cities from the end of 2019. Unfortunately, I’m still living in Austria and don’t get anything from a new environmental reform. r is that right? Is that a sure thing that the reform (Euro6d I think comes into force or? ) and prohibits all diesel vehicles in large cities to date? Thank you already in advance!

  • Find reliable used cars up to 5,500 Euro

Hello together, after driving my Honda Civic 1.4 Hatchback Bj 1996 a total of 6 years without major incidents, it is now time to buy a new used one. My Civic never let me down with a problem with the cooler hose and a defective clutch sensor cylinder and accompanied me with 100,000km. Now I am looking for a modern car which is hopefully just as reliable. The following points should have the used car: Small compact car (whether Limo, Kombi, Schrägheck) Area Saxony + circumference 200km No more than 120,000km 1400-2000ccm min. Euro 4 annual mileage 18,000km (city, overland, motorway) Bj from 2005 Petrol (diesel conditional) Luggage compartment place at least as with my Honda Civic cruiser PDC rear climate low maintenance costs place for child seats (IsoFix) for warranty reasons dealer purchase My favorites are Volkswagen, Skoda, Audi, BMW, Ford, Opel I had already researched bitsl at the Golf V, but I did not know what to do there. 4th parts in the axle area, which can cause problems. The higher plastic content does not bother me. With Opel the Astra H should not be bad, however, I like the cockpit operation at VW or Skoda significantly better. The car is well maintained in a duplex garage and must not exceed a height of 1.55m. Do you have recommendations and tips, which model is reliable, on the highway even sometimes without problems 150-180km/h and at the same time also optically a good Eind I would also like to give you more information if necessary. Thank you in advance!

  • Search cheap small cars

Hello all, I am currently looking for a new used one. It is best to write down how my requirements and wishes are. I drive a total of approx. 90km daily, of which 40km highway, the rest of the country roads/inner-city. Every year I arrive at approx. 25,000km. What I imagine: – safe, small 5-door, which drives the next 5-7 years – 5000-1000€ budget (outer Schmez border is 12000) – reliable and inexpensive in maintenance – this is actually the most important Point! – no Fiat Punto and Nissan Juke – both driven several times – these are not my cars – not totally undermotorized – I am not a racer but I would like to be able to easily overtake a tractor – absolute dream… Rear-view camera (but should not be the main criterion) Now there are many possibilities. I don’t know at all. Opel Corsa, Toyota Yaris (or the Aygo? Which I think is too small – but I’ve never sat in it before), Skoda Fabia or Seat Ibiza would spontaneously be my thoughts. Are they good? Or are there any other models that would be better? Hyunday i20, Kia Picanto or Ceed? Which mileage should I take maximum? Which engine? Is a diesel still useful? Which year of construction? How much money should I spend? Green badge would definitely need, I have to drive about 2x per month into the environmental zone. I think you already notice… I’m a little overburdened and grateful for advice.
