Hello everyone! I am looking for a suitable car and since it will be my first car purchase, I would like to get some support in this regard! To the Hardfacts: I would use the car primarily for long distances (Germany-Austria, Austria – Hungary, Austria – Italy, Austria – Croatia) It should not cost more than 800€, maximum 850€ petrol would be important to me, automatic transmission also, air conditioning of course I drive since 2011 car, am unfa llfree and safe driving I want it to be reliable and as new as it goes for the price Now the question arises which models can be considered here! And I hope for your expert answers 🙂 My father is thoroughbred BMWler and for him nothing else comes into question – but I really don’t care about the brand, mainly it drives long and well! Thank you so much and love greetings from Vienna!

First car, compact class vs. small limousine
Hello dear MotorTalk municipality, I would like to buy my first car and am looking forward to your input. Briefly to me and what I expect from my first car: Professionally active in the IT sector and therefore a lot of mobile. Per day I drive averagely approx. 80 km total distance Do not drive passionately for the sake of driving, therefore would like a comfortable, fast and above all efficient means of transport. The car should not be used even with heavy holiday luggage / roof luggage (canoes etc.) Budget ceiling 6000 Euro Previously viewed car Renault Clio IV (2014 – 2016) BMW 118 (2008 – 2010) VW Golf V – VI Audi A3 (2010) Thank you in advance for your tips / suggestions. Greetings, Amin PS: If I have broken with any etiquette of the community in my entry, please excuse me now, am new and do not know the rules yet!

Read fault memory at test drive date ?
Have an appointment soon because of a test drive. Do you want to know what’s going on in the FSP (if they didn’t delete it precautionably…) -> so best after the ride. Do they usually and free of charge? Otherwise I would have to use my mobile phone and Bluetooth OBD plug even in a quiet minute 😀 But don’t know if that would be allowed…

Search for new car
Hello together, we, my friend, our daughter (6) and I, are looking for a new family car for us (there are planned two more children). We currently have a Mazda 6 from 2011 and a VW Golf 6 from 2010. We are looking for a large car, with a lot of trunk volume (from 560l), with little consumption (since we both have a working distance of 75km) and with a lot of PS (my friend places importance on it, it should be more than 220). It would be important to know that my friend would like to take an Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Mazda or Volkswagen. Other brands are not eligible for him. I look forward to your suggestions. Thank you very much.

First car with 18? BMW / Volkswagen ?
Hey, I’m finally 18 this month (as the last in the whole year). I always wanted a car (like probably many). In recent years, this was naturally reinforced by classmates/cumbers who are all allowed to drive alone. Have now two questions. 1. Car? Actually, I don’t need one. At the moment school is exposed anyway and with BF17 and one of two parent cars you can go everywhere. Nothing the same would have its own natural advantages. 2. Which? Absolute dream dare Chevrolet Camaro or a new Corvette. Financially but unattainable and therefore put aside. Realistic would be (I think) one of these three current potential favourites. – BMW 318i 143PS 2008/2009 ( Definitely Facelift) – VW Polo V (vll GTI) – VW Golf VI (vll GTI) At the moment I would really like to go somewhere on beautiful roads etc. Do you think a 318i with 143PS has more to offer than the Skoda Ocatvia with 122PS (2012) that we have anyway? In the meantime it is relatively certain that I will start to study dual after the summer. A car would not be necessary there. On the other hand, after 12 years without paying for the Abi work vll also earns some financial looks it quite ok I think. With salary from October and saved money you could finance e.g. a BMW 3. Just for setting up a 1 room apartment I would of course also like to have some money left. Mfg

New car 3 child seats rear bench
Greetings! We are looking for a new car, where we get 3 child seats on the back seat. The selection is not big. Our budget is max. 14-15K €, i.e. of course used cars. What I have seen, you get there some weighings with BJ from 2014/15 with approx. from 90,000 KM. My wife prefers VW, there would be a touran for example. I vehemently refuse to always refer to one brand. Now my real question: Is it really like this? that VW is so great in this category (VW Touran, BJ from 2014, Diesel, ~90K KM) of the Preil/Performance ratio that I have to pay the “VW Bonus”? I would have found another one: Toyoto Verso, Peugeot 5008, Ford S-Max, Renaul Grand Scenic, Citroen C4 Grand Picasso and Opel Zafira Tourer – there should fit in 3 child seats everywhere (in a row on the back bench). What do you think… are there in your experience good/bad cars, from which you would advise me or the recommendation. Are you worth it? Of course – you can have bad luck with every car…but I still have to look at money and want to make the best deal possible. Thank you!

Exchange Lexuc CT 200 H with Corolla
Hello guys, I’ve recently been happy owner of a Lexus CT 200 H Privilge built in 20019, I’m actually more than happy with the car, except for one point (snarling on the passenger door). Now unfortunately a private change has occurred in the short term so I need a (something) larger car (Lexus is also relatively small for the compact class inside) best case with no surcharge or very little. My idea is the Corolla (combi or normal) with 122 hp hybrid(the s Since I am not so the car expert, I will of course already test driving but I will not be able to take so much out of a ride (unless it doesn’t fit at all) I would ask for your feedback regarding my expectations or would like: Corolla compared to the Lexus: + Modern engine (less consumption-> probably negligible) + Something (more normal) more space in all areas_> not KOmbi + Significantly more space in the case of combi + assistant system me (as far as I’ve seen are adaptive cruise control hybrid series)modern + 5 or 4 year warranty (goes from a new or annual car) – New On the market (children’s diseases ?) – Processing probably not level Lexus – Noise/damming probably not Lexus level ? Thank you for your feedback!

Cheap/robust car for 200km/day
I am allowed to travel about 200km daily from 01.05. and think about whether I should buy a cheap car (about 2h a day) or whether I drive the route by train (about 5.5h a day, but free)… The car should cost a maximum of 4000€, consume little (max. 6l) and if possible less than 125,000km. Most important to me, however, is that it is robust and I don’t have to go to the workshop all the time, as I can’t afford the fun otherwise. As a filter, I have always searched only for vehicles from dealers with a guarantee and a well-kept checkbook, as this sounds like “safe” cars and I don’t know about cars at all. Is that sensible? Unfortunately, there is no “workshop of trust” in which I could have a car checked. So far I have read that A-classes should be good and robust, but also Mazda 2 has been praised online more often. However, I am open to all brands and models. Thank you very much. in advance for your help.

Purchase advice: Second car: SUV/Crossover (family-friendly)
Hello, by chance I came across this forum. I’m at the beginning of a search process for the new car. I like Skoda Kamiq and Audi Q2. Are there any comparisons or where would you see the criteria when comparing them? What thoughts should I think about them? Thank you. Best regards Kamiau [Transferred from Motor-Talk from the topic ‘Skoda Kamiq or Audi q2?’]

Buy a car at a distance when TÜV renewed 2 weeks ago?
Hello, I have found a used car online (with the rare desired equipment). The car has already been on the hump for a few years, it is therefore about less than 8 thousand EUR. The thing is that the car in this equipment was not offered in my vicinity in the last months. I spoke on the phone with the private seller. This sounded good and also the copies of the service booklet looked good. Only I would have to pay 500 EUR by bank transfer and the purchase tra g signed to not lose the car to other interested parties. I can’t get there sooner because of the distance and the car is otherwise gone. I was quick with the call, but there are other interested parties. So long speech, short meaning: Should I take the risk of buying the car over distance and possibly losing the 500 EUR if the car has Macken on site?
