  • Used car under 2.200€

Hello, meanwhile I am looking for a car. My budget for a car is 3,000€ but this is only the limit of pain. Better would be under 2200€. Since I am a student the maintenance should be as low as possible, but to entertain a car as a whole I can afford by a contractually indefinite work student activity. By car I should come as cheaply as possible from A to B, but it should also be suitable for the road over longer distances. So that I with friends or Freu In addition, I should be able to store a kayak on the roof somehow. It is also important to me that the technology is robust and that the car has low maintenance or low spare parts costs. Cars I have already considered: – Opel Omega B Kombi – Had my parents and find the trunk particularly good – Toyota Corolla – Toyota Yaris – VW Golf Step Neck/Kombi – VW Polo – Honda Civic What are your tips and experiences?

  • Summer instead of year-round tire mounted, stupid deception?

Hello guys I need your help This week Tuesday I was at a car dealer and I looked at a VW Beetle 1.9 TDI BJ 2006. In mobile it was called the car has all-betting tires. Some people have that too (friends of me can see that) When I looked at the car, I asked the dealer if the all-betting tires are for safety. He told me if it is in the description. I then only looked at the profile depth, these was fine. On Friday I bought the car and drove home (on country roads). In a known curve I slipped for a short moment. Today I was with my mechanic, who told me that it was summer tires and the seller misled me with it. What can I do now?

  • Search car for up to 1200€ per month

Hello, I’m looking for an everyday car with fun factor. At my free disposal for a car I have around 1200€ a month. This should all be paid for. So insurance (no points, accidents, ADAC member, driver’s license for 10 years, SF2 for partial cascade, so far no SF for all-round), petrol for 15,000km a year, control, standard repairs (motor damage sometimes outside) mature, service etc. So carelessly with 1200€ a month, i.e. around 15,000€ a year. Personal preferences are: – Purchase price up to 40,000€ – Used up to 50,000km – Combi (5 doorr, 500-600l boot volume) – Legroom rear for 1.85m people – Technically as new as possible – Performance (from 350ps) – Attractive design (so no multipla) – Durable engine (I plan to keep the kfz longer) – Beautiful sound (zb V6, V8, no diesel!) – Priority German models Dream cars (unpayable and regardless of the above mentioned preferences) are bspw e63 amg T, M340i, M5, r(s)6 I’m really hard to find something nice there. Of course I get a used s6 or e43 amg for the price, but if 1200€ for above mentioned costs really enough in the long term, I almost don’t think so. Therefore, the question of general ideas. I know that you should not put all your money in a car, and before this comes to guess, I come to about 50,000€ net per year, which corresponds to around 4,100€ net per month So there are still a few euros left for living, living and retirement.

  • Buy a winter car now?

Good evening friends of the well-kept entertainment. A “winter car” is needed, starting at the end of November. I have already looked around prophylactically and found the one or the other good offer. Now the question arises whether it makes sense to buy the car now and leave it in the garage unannounced. For me, the question is also interesting whether the prices then go up or what are now. On the one hand, I would have “it behind me” and then no pressure in November. Since then the car would really just stand around and take a seat. And 2-3 months of service life is certainly not so good for the car. What is your opinion here?

  • Older A or B class with little KM as commuter car

Hello, since I will be driving 160 kilometers each from October 4 days per week, I am looking for a car. At the moment I have none and am only travelling by train. I have read a lot here in the forum. It is clear to me that it is to become a diesel (at least Euro 5). My budget is about 8,000 euros. Leasing/financing is not possible for me. I have seen that there are older (2006) A classes and B classes with a few kilometers (30-50tkm). Is this an option or would you rather advise not? It is important that I have a better comfort and more space than in a small car. On the motorway I am not faster than 130/140. Otherwise I would also like an Astra Sportstourer or a Passat. But I have the feeling that I can make a bargain with the older A and B classes through the bidere “Renterimage”. Thanks for eu help and effort

  • Long-range vehicle sought

Hello together, I am looking for a second car for the work, as from May I commute daily about 180km (round trip) daily. I don’t want to spend more than 7,000 euros. Should be reasonably comfortable and no old klapperkiste. What can you recommend me? Wishes have icb no special, except for a climate. Many greetings and best thanks in advance.

  • In the difficult search for a small car… Tips urgently desired!!

Unfortunately I haven’t found the search function yet and I’m probably the xte with this question. But I’m just a bit overwhelmed. I’m going to leave my old polo tomorrow, after it caused me the last year only stress and was very expensive. Now I think back and forth if I should buy one of the very cheap new small cars that are currently on the market, or an older used model with a few kilometers of a better brand recommended w ire. (e.g. Audi A1) If you have small cars.. you can recommend something good to me. I really don’t look through between Skoda, Dacia, Renault, Seat.. The car is not very much used, but should conquer the highway with me now and then. What about the consumption of the little ones and the performance. I am grateful for every experience and every tip

  • Skoda Octavia with 140,000km justifiable?

Moin, I saw a Skoda Octavia Kombi 2.0 TDI with 150hp and was quite enthusiastic about the vehicle. BJ 2014, DSG, a lot of equipment (ACC, traffic sign, elek rear flap, seat heating rear…) The costs are to be 11.500€ with double tyres. I only wonder if the already 140,000 km are too much. I need the car to commute a total of 600km on the weekends; 90% motorway. (estimated 30,000km a year) Of course the car should also last 4-6 years. I noticed it today and nothing negative, but I want to see it again from a workshop to make sure it’s safe. Is the km of power for commuting already too high? Is the car reliable beyond the 200,000km? What else should I pay attention to? Thank you for your answers.

  • My first car (budget 5000 euros)

Hello people My name is Marvin I am fresh 20 years old and would like to buy my first car. I’m more concerned with the optical than about a lot of PS because I’m still a beginner and have my rags only a few days. I first looked around in the direction bmw 1er but then quickly found out that I don’t get anything with modern interior appearance for my 5000 Euro. So here’s a few back dates that I would like to have (Could but also similar or alternative vo Rschlagen. – Vw, Audi, Bmw or Mercedes. – Under 150,000 KM Runs – Gasoline – Infotainment System (if one can be retrofitted that looks reasonably good and functional is enough the NORMALES 1 DIN RADIO (IM OEM STYLE)) – Budget 5000 Euro – Up to 150 HP – Year of construction from 2005/2006 It would be really nice if someone could recommend something that looks modern to me. We dare about the parents therefore the insurance will not be a problem. MfG Marvin

  • Corvette C6/C7 + second car or BMW M4 Competition

Hello, I hope my question is correctly placed at this point. I have been thinking about the following topic for a very long time and I hope for your competent suggestions. For 5 years I drive a Corvette C6 and as a second car I always have a scrap car. I am very attached to the Corvette only it is no longer the youngest with 13 years. In addition, the LS2 does not last forever. Had to change the gears at 60k km already once (about 800€) I don’t want to spend so much money on the cars anymore and to drive 80% of the time with a cucumber. That feels somehow wrong. Before I had the C6 as the only car. Especially in winter and also in wet weather constantly standing at 20l/100km in the traffic jam felt however also wrong, therefore I had got a cheap cucumber. Fuel for 400-500€ per month are also not to be despised. Also worth mentioning, that I drive a lot of short distance (3km work path – and no I will now I find the BMW M4 Competition also very interesting. Since I very much like to ride convertible I had also looked at the M4 convertible but I don’t like the rear. As an average earner however, not both comes into question for me. So I would have to decide, although I identify myself more with the Corvette. I would then drive the M4 as the only car all year round and save me the costs for the second car. As a parking space I have rented an outdoor parking space and no garage. I am aware that you can hardly compare the two vehicles but nevertheless I have made a few considerations: Pro M4: – It is easy to find a suitable workshop, since no Exot – 4 seats – BMW quality – Good winter suitability Pro Corvette: – Special charm alone through the rarity – Targa roof – sports car feeling – V8 Sound Eigl I also like to drive a switch and would also like a Corvette The M4 with DKG and switch-winding is also fun. What do you think or what would you advise me to do? Thank you in advance!
