Dear community, please for your valuable opinions and experiences ! I am looking for a new family car at the beginning of next year, worth putting on a lot of space, quality/equipment and durability ! Drive at the moment a BMW E46 Touring 320d, which I really like, but is too old and far too small ! I drive in the year so between 20,000-25,000 km and therefore tend to a diesel unit, also because of the driving feeling. I think a car which is 2-3 years old and up to max. 50,000km the watch would be quite nice, with min. 150hp should be attached and such things as seat heating, cruise control, full climate, xenon should be with me already } I can pay a maximum of 20,000,-EUR. Now I have been driving such a chic Volvo XC60 through the field of view and now I am so not at all familiar with the topic Volvo – clearly I know that you say Volvo very much, to be very safe but otherwise ?? How about the engine, is this completely all Volvoown construction or buy the d he engines somewhere a ?? What does it look like with durability of the engine, are they also as reliable as German engines, so I can normally also easily tear down some 250,000km and more ?? Have read that the rather a little more should consume ?? Is that true ?? What does it look like with the quality in general, what else can you say about Volvo – which PRO’s and which CONTRA’s are there ?? And at the very end – is such an XC 60 with my specifications at all realisi Can I or should I better get this out of my head, because for me too expensive ?? And do you have other good or better suggestions for my budget ???VIELEN DANK AN EUCH ALL PREPARATION !

Indestructible small car searched
Hello dear MT’ler, I have a somewhat strange question I’m looking for a small car as indestructible as possible. The only mandatory criteria are: – Year of construction 2004 or new – engine smaller than 1.4l (if possible smaller than 1.2l) Why? I drive from Europe about 15,000 kilometers to Mongolia, through Iran, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, etc. etc. The route is largely not asphalted, comes through the desert (I suppose a lot of sand is a problem?)… st I’m looking for something like an old Fiat Panda or Nissan Micra (really indestructible), only with a year of construction newer than 2004. In addition, the car should be as easy as possible to repair, so that it can be done somewhere in Central Asia. Budget, more or less no matter… would say about 5,000 euros. Apart from shock absorbers, do you have higher and rally wheels any more tips on what to do with a normal small car? can change it so that it is as suitable for terrain as possible? Thanks and greetings

Reason decision, family with 2 children
Hello all, would have a small request for interesting suggestions about my situation: Have a Ford Galaxy (Bj.2000) which I now have to sell and for which I would get approx. 1500€. I can find 800€ to 10,000€. I now want to buy a car, rather a station wagon or limousine. Drive in the year approx. 15 to 20 tsd. km. Think that a diesel should produce least cost/km. Safety and reliability are important topics. Trust only with a previous owner and checkbook care (Room Bodensee) What would be the most reasonable thing? 1.) A Peugot 308SW Built in 2008, a few kilometers, 2.) A Ford Mondeo, a bit older, with more kilometers 3.) Opel Vectra , a bit older, with more kilometers 4.) Or put aside an even cheaper car and money for the repairs. 5.) What else. Car brand/model would meet the above criteria ? Would I be pleased with answers. Greeting webcruiser

Sporty glitter up to max 9,000€ searched
Hey ho, my first post here in the forum and I hope you can help me or advise me well I am currently looking for a new car and since I don’t really know which brands or models are recommended with which engines I turn to you. What it should have: -sports design -2/3 door is enough -maximum 80.000 km run (think more is too much at the price) -approx. 120 to 150 hp -from 1.6 l displacement – petrol or diesel is really not important -although something new, ni cht under year of construction 2005 -possibly xenon headlights If it should become a diesel then of course it can be more than 80tkm, but basically that’s the requirements. Priced then at 9,000€ definitely end for me, whereby I have seen that most “sports” variants only start at 10,000 Well maybe you still have tips or brings me on a new track Thank you already. Until then.

Good cars with LPG from factory or for conversion
Since my focus is only fuel costs of 5.25 euros (LPG+E10) despite not very slow driving methods, I am somewhat indecisive about the next car. A diesel should consume at the current low diesel prices (diesel costs a few years ago 1.80 euros) only about 4.5 l to draw the same with the old Focus. For this one is a turbocharger, high-pressure injection pump and nozzles as well as a particle filter. My wish for a new car would be: – gas-resistant 4-cylinder it, so from 115-150hp – Combi – automatic transmission – approx. a 70l tank (gross). My focus has a 63l tank (51,x l go in, which is enough for 600-700Km). Annual drive power approx. 55.000km. Of which about 40,000km work path (almost only highway and federal road). Ford has unfortunately only a 117hp petrol with car gas system in offer and also only with 5-speed manual transmission. Besides, I don’t know the gas tank size there. At Dacia there is car gas only with 75/85hp and only with laughing 33,6l gas tank. oyota Prius with autogas would be the hit (apart from the headroom at the back); but is unfortunately not offered. Do you have any other suggestions?

Difficulties in decision making
Hello together =) It’s about the following three cars: – Mercedes a 45 AMG – Porsche Boxster S – Audi TT RS I would like to buy a new car, but I have difficulty making decisions. I would like to have a sporty car, which can only have 2 seats. It doesn’t matter from consumption and from the PS, since all three show the same values. In addition, all are about the same price. The question is, which car does you have more driving fun with? Which car does the car bring? PS more on the ground? I hope you can help me =) GLG

~15t€ / Combi / Inconclusive about model and especially time
Hello dear community, I’ve never had to deal with the car purchase much before, because I got a Mazda 3 from early on and had previously driven up my mother’s Ford Ka. Therefore, I would be very happy about some advice from the experienced! I have a few more questions and try to split them as well as possible, maybe it works with a thread 🙂 What I search / need: – Current driving performance: 12-15 tKm/a – Price: Still unreliable, about 15 t €. Good offer I would also go higher, but I am happy even if it remains cheap. – Would like to drive the car as long as possible, therefore young age and / or little KM desiredPrimary criteria: – place -> Have a large fabric tent and offspring is planned (1 child, no more) ->Kombi, optimal way roof railing. Currently Mazda 3 without roof railing, which would be with child + vacation too small. With roof railing possibly just so feasible, but then nets necessary for securing! – Low consumption (~5,x Lite r for petrolers would be already top, in the beginning 6 liters also ok). – Solid processing, long life, low maintenance costs. – 140 hp+, like a little more 🙂 – A certain comfort / practicality should be there without the fun of driving is lost. (Functions steering wheel, intelligent storage systems etc.)Secondary criteria: – Automatic (often stagnating traffic in the city and traffic jam…). Unfortunately, however, I am also aware that this means a not insignificant extra charge or incl. alternative cruise control for longer distances. – MP3 – Very far down Navi, even if it is more suitable than mobile phone / normal Navi – Quiet interior (Mazda 3 is starting from 140-150 km/h already very loud in the interior) – Despite all the practical thinking like to drive a little bit sportySo far considered: – Skoda Octavia Kombi (the new one with 150 hp and low consumption look nice already, from paper my favorite, but probably also very hyped and used very expensive) – Mazda 6 (probably a little more expensive) – VW Passat (even more expensive) – By Opel Astra Combi and Ford Focus I was rather discouraged by other laymen, but I also have on the listMy questions: 1. What are the things that I considered? What would you recommend for alternatives? My rough assessment according to my criteria would be Mazda = VW > Skoda > Focus > Astra? Which of the first 3s of the Skoda is probably the most advantageous.2. When to buy? Currently the Mazda has 3, 105 HP, built in 2008, 104,000 KM on the hump. Slight crash at the front (engine hood slightly warped, apron repaired), minimal parking ramper at the rear (plastic, could be polished, only superficial, no deep scratches). According to the TÜV report of 2014, brake discs are due soon. As far as cars are concerned, not at all. Interests just low, nor do you get anything for the car, so now with credit financed? From the belly that would be ~3,000 for the car, ~2,000 equity so credit of ~1 0.000€. Or 3 years wait, possibly upcoming repairs figures. Could then save ~8,000€ minus repairs in addition. Interests may be higher again (with the EC not so dramatic), own car less value. Aren’t cars currently quite cheap? Questions about questions 🙂 Would I be very pleased about a few advices, especially about the time I am very uncertain. Nervig is already partially. Goods just fully loaded in the mountains, always switch down Even on a straight road past the truck is dangerous because of lack of acceleration. When packing I had to look very carefully and he was literally full for the camping vacation to under the roof. But he still does his service completely and drives (still) extremely reliable. I only have to bear in mind that soon more expensive repairs come and in the worst case then still interest and car prices go up. That would be annoying for a car, which is actually not so much Thank you for your patience in reading and all the answers!! Michael

Mini-Van SUPPORTED!
Good day, this is my first post here. I’m looking for a reliable minivan. Drive a Renault Megane Scenic of the first series, where I especially like the space available. What I don’t like is that I have to go to the workshop for a long time, because the brakes are constantly making specs. If it rains, the mill shows zero braking effect, the car is standing in the parking lot for two days without moving, the brakes are fixed on the disc. For weeks not driven, you have to worry if it still starts at all, the Brembeläge then grind when driving for the next 50 km. In the workshop you can find no significant defects: braking effect is normal, that with the fixed baking of the brakes as well, would also occur with other manufacturers, the battery shows great measured values. But I am annoying, so much that I am ready for the vehicle change. What I expect from the next: Modular space offer behind the first row of seats, seats foldable and removable, vehicle loading floor should then offer a level. Most important criterion for me, there must be two mountain bikes (with dismantled front wheels) standing upright after the length in it, if I just change or remove a rear seat. This solves the old megane playing, the newer ones unfortunately only with small bike sizes. So I am looking for something in similar size up to maximum VW Sharan or Ford Galaxy. Who knows each other from un d can give me recommendations, also knows which car types are without car repair? Thank you!

Solid car up to 500€
Moin moin, on the other hand, I’ve been driving a 15 year old VW Golf 4 with 75 hp for 3 years now. Now I’ve been thinking about buying a new car in the near future. Problem with this is that on the one hand I don’t have a lot of money available, on the other hand the price should be somewhere at 500€ and on the other hand I need a solid car, with which I can drive every day without any problems. Since my golf is very spartan, I would like to have the following extras: – Central locking – electr . Window lifter – air conditioning Besides, I would like to have a little bit more power, i.e. at least 100 HP it should be. Since I want to drive the car for a while, of course, he should not have too much down so best in the range of 100Tkm. Do you have any ideas? I thought about a Seat Ibiza, Leon, Skoda Fabia, VW Polo. What do you think would fit well for my requirements?
