Hi, I need a new used station wagon and can’t really decide between the two in the subject. Had an A6 2.0 TDI as a pre-facelift and was completely satisfied. But now I drove an A4 B8 ambition (from 2010) and found it a lot more sporty. However, the smaller interior speaks against the A4 again. Actually, my next one should have an automatic, but I have read everywhere that one of the combination Diesel/Multitronic And just because of the Tiptronic to buy an all-wheeler is then perhaps a bit exaggerated. Gasoline definitely does not come into question. So I decided no matter if A6 or A4 for the 2.0 TDI as switch. MMI with color display and Navi is a must. Xenon would be “nice to have”. Both vehicles are quite the same price. Both are from 2009 and 2010 with approx. 100.000km to 15,000 Euro. Maybe you can still give me decisive advantages or disadvantages ne can I make it easier for me to decide?

First car – preliminary consultation
Hello together, I am male and 28 years old and am currently driving my driver’s license (yes, I am very late. However, the reasons for this should not be discussed here ) Now, of course, the first car should be here soon. However, since the car purchase is only due in two to three months, I still have enough time to look around and inform me in detail on the market. Therefore, I do not ask you here for a specific purchase advice alá “This offer is great. Sc hlage zu!”, but rather need help with the general choice in terms of manufacturer, model, engine and year of construction. So in which direction should I observe the market. I also need at the same time hints, what I have to pay attention to with the proposed models. Rust, tooth grate, changed wear parts or or or or. Vorneweg: I am not fixed to any manufacturer. I am more pragmatic about this, and put the practical advantages over every brand discussion. Here are the basic data, what I expect from my car: I will also drive to work with the car. My job can vary the places of employment. I guess on average, however, it should keep the balance with highway and city traffic at 50:50. I estimate mileage at 15k to 20k kilometers a year. Can you recommend something here already, and what do I have to pay attention to? Thanks already for your help Gruss

Seat Ibiza ST or Citroen C4 (current model)?
Which car would you take? Seat Ibiza ST (Kombi) Style with 16 inch aluminium wheels Built: 2010 Engine: Diesel 1.6 TSI with 90 hp and 230 Nm Or: Citroen C4 Built:2010 Engine: Diesel 1.6 HDI with 92 hp and 230 Nm I know there are two different types of vehicles but the things that are important to me are the same: – Purchase price: both are at 8000 to 9000 Euro – Consumption: both vehicles consume 5 liters in practice – Driving fun: both engines have 230 Nm (except on the Pun) kt that the seat is a bit lighter) – boot: almost the same size Before and Nights Seat Ibiza ST: + 10 cm shorter easier when searching for a car park or when parking + VW technology, spare parts are available in bulk and cheap + Cheaper insurance rating, 60 euros less + better resale value per year, not every manufacturer offers a small car as a combi — lower space at the rear — Poorer processing in the interior Advantages and disadvantages Citroen C4 + Better space offered + Better processing in the interior — Larger than the Seat Ibiza, heavier car park search So the annual driving performance is about 28 Tkm mainly highway, 120 km Täglch. Which car would you take and why?

First own car – 3000 – 5000 Euro?
Hello, I am 23 years old and I am a student. I have always been able to use the C-Class and the BMW 1 of my parents. However, these need your car at other times and therefore I need a car for the university etc. Saved me 5000 euros. I share the costs for insurance, tax, fuel and washing system with my parents. Now I am looking for a reliable car, which is inexpensive in maintenance and lasts me 4 – 5 years (Bachelor + Master). I would like to spend 3000 – 5000 euros for it. I like the VW Polo or, for example, the Peugot 206. Question 1: What kind of car would you recommend? Question 2: What costs do I have to reckon with for maintenance repair? Can it happen that I buy a good used car and this few days later, for example, has a motor damage or similar? In the case of new cars, you always have guarantees… What does it look like for used cars in the price segment? I drive about 5000 – 9000 kilometers a year (mostly distances of 10 – 30 kilometers) PS: I have a car mechanic and an engineer (automobile industry) in the circle of acquaintances. I will take these with me when I buy, because I do not want to buy the cat in the bag. Despite these experts in the circle of acquaintances, I would like to inform myself here very much! Thank you, for your help!

Search car, who has market overview
Hello everybody, I have had a rather monogamous relationship with Audi for 30 years now, but I could imagine submitting the divorce. However, I also have quite specific requirements that I want to list. Who knows a suitable car? May also be needed. Price up to 40k. – ACC with control range 0 to 150 or more from Mercedes or VAG (most important requirement!) – thus inevitably automatic, but not the marode 7G drying DSG from VAG. – petrol or hybrid (bin Kurzstre truck driver, but must also be capable of long-distance driving) – turbo engine, torque from 240 Nm – front or all-wheel (no rear drive) – trailer coupling – steering column adjustable – parking steering assistant – Xenon or LED – Navi with at least 6.5 inch and DAB+ – comfort fabric seats (no parts, no sports seats) – both front seats height adjustable – normal suspension (no sports suspension) – length max. 4.70 m. better less – height min. 1.40 m (wide and high …) – rear seats foldable cars, in which one of these points is injured I find several, but one in which everything fits I find only one, the Skoda Octavia 3 Ambition 1.8 DSG 4×4 Who else has a suggestion? Thank you! ACC_Fan

First car searched up to 1500 euros
Hello, as shown in the title I am looking for a first car and that with a maximum budget of 1500 euros, unfortunately more is not in it. Due to the limited budget I now have no concrete ideas about brand, etc., but such a rough idea: I need a car in which I can drive comfortably, I am big and wide (1,96m/125kg), that is a “normal small car” falls away. What definitely can not be done are Corsa B, Kia Picanto, Citroen C1, which I am already vo A few space, especially in the legroom, partly with the head on the ceiling, pedals too closely together (which I can sometimes kick with one foot all at the same time), etc. Nevertheless, the maintenance should remain as low as possible, i.e. not only low consumption, but also best not a “typical” beginner car because of the insurance contributions. Which would also be helpful is a good spare parts supply and that you can screw well. I have to go there. d although no experience is but not untalented by craftsmanship and I think that can partly save costs, only there are cars with which it is easier to do something yourself than with others and the latter would therefore perhaps not be ideal. In summary: First car for big guy up to 1500 euros, on which can be screwed well and if possible with climate. I would like to thank you for any helpful answer. MfG

Small car for 15,000 VW or Mazda?
Good evening, since my dear old Punto (10 years and 100k km) rusts away so slowly under my butt and is already a little incontinent, I would like to get a new car this year. I use the car to drive with it every day about 25km into the work. I have to drive both via one or other country road as well as through the city with poorly connected traffic lights and connected stop and go. In addition, I drive 1-2 times a year to my sister in the north about 800 km. What I, in my opinion, need is a car that has noticeably more power than my old Punto, i.e. more than 60hp. I live in Bavaria and here you drive up one or the other hill and if I don’t make a good start with the Fiat, it can happen that I torture myself with 30 km/h the damn mountain up… that should finally be the end ^^ Besides, it should be reliable and not older than 3 years. I once felt a little bit through the Internet and I came across the following two candidates:Mazda 3 1.6 More space than in the polo, better equipment, more comfortable for long distances?VW Polo 1.2 TSI DSG Better workmanship quality, automatic – especially for the annoying rides through the city more comfortable? Will you contact the dealers next week or the next week and test the two cars. What would you recommend? Maybe also a completely different model/brand? MFG Fritz

Medium class combo used: Ford Mondeo (Mk3 or 4) vs Volvo V70 (or XC70)?
Dear automotive experts, I would like to buy a used mid-range combi for up to about 10,000 EUR. Two brands are left over from all research and are now available for choice:Ford Mondeo (Mk3 or Mk4)Volvo V70 or XC70 I know that it will be difficult, but I am not interested in so much personal preferences as rather tangible facts and arguments pro and contra the respective cars. I start with a few arguments and would like to ask you, on the one hand, your experiences ode r other vehicle to supplement:PRO MONDEO – a lot of equipment for money – plenty of space, large load volume – tend to be cheaper than Volvo – spare parts / repairs tend to be cheaper (third party parts etc.)PRO V70/XC70 – better breakdown statistics, is considered long-lasting (since about BJ 2006 still valid?) – looks more individual – my gut feeling is currently more towards especially XC70 … Thanks for your help!

Beginner car for approx. 2000 max. 250€
Hello dear forum, I am a novice driver, I want to finally get a car and hope that you can help me. Here are the rough requirements that the car should meet: – petrol – BJ not necessarily before 2002 – mileage max. 120000km – 80-100hp – manual transmission – no fuel eater – durable and needless of repair – ESP should be available – should already offer storage space, does not necessarily have to be a station wagon, but I want to pack something as I said – design – manufacturer price: – in general I thought about 2000€ for the car, if it’s 100..200€ more is also ok. But 2500 is the abolute upper limit. What would be the case for models? So in general I have heard that the Mazda 323 should be quite in order. I also find the Honda Jazz interesting, especially since the folded (half) back bench then also forms an area with the trunk. In addition, the model should probably also be I have already entered my requirements several times in various search masks. Often there were offers for French cars (especially Renault and Peugeot). Somehow it is in my mind that they have to be enjoyed with caution. Is that true? If so, why? The models I noticed are Renault Megane and Peugeot 206 Gand Filou I find the Peugeot, for example. e from the equipment pretty good. Can you look at it? All right, I’ll put myself in your hands (; Greeting Edgemaen

Dealer sold by private, what to do?
Have found a nice car, which the seller allegedly bought recently, but only driven a few days by a short registration plate and now wants to sell again. But I like the car. What exactly does the used car guarantee contain? What happens now, then, if something happens? For example, the engine is over in half a year? If I can prove afterwards that he does this professionally? Because now have Googled his phone number and two older e ads found. But if the contract is sold by private, can that still be successful? I know, actually not serious, and you should not support such a thing, but I just like the car too well.
