Good evening dear people, I am faced with the difficult decision or choice of a new car or young used car. I have been looking for a long time, unfortunately I lack the experience in the area of Volvo. There is quite no one I know who is driving. Now I have presented myself a new, used or reimported vehicle. I am looking for… Petrol/diesel: Diesel engine: Optimal TDI, pump/nozzle, at best with easily accessible AGR … thes… Pollutant class: At least Euro 6 Power: At least 150hp Running power: New or up to 50,000km Type: Combi or similar Color: Is it second-ranking Extras: Towing clutch, and perhaps well known good equipment to pull even a trailer (4×4? clutch? brakes?) Price: Around the 30,000€ +-700€ We have now let in the narrow selection: Octavia Combi Model 2020, 2.0 TDI SCR 4×4 184PS DSG 7gang Octavia Combi Model 2020, 2.0 TDI SCR 150PS DSG 7gang Octavia Combi Model 2020, 2.0 TDI SCR 150PS 6gang VOLVO V60 CrossCountry D4 AWD 190 PS Geartronic 8gang VOLVO V60 CrossCountry D3 150 PS Geartronic 8gang (or the variant without “cross” ;D) VOLVO V60 CrossCountry D3 150 PS 6Gang (or the variant without “cross” ;D) You can see, actually a choice between Skoda Octavia and Volvo V60. Priced are all roughly within the frame…Alternatives I would like to see…if, for example, the ultra robust low-cost car would give me still unknown nature… I ask myself the question if there are known defects in the respective automatic. You don’t read anything good about the Skoda DSG, whereby the reports are about 4 years old. Second question is whether the 4WD with the “larger” motorization, but apparently the same machine offers an advantage for a trailer? Are there the brakes/coupling also adapted to the higher performance? Otherwise, I would opt for the more powerful variant with 2WD and automatic…and if the known often Zic ken makes, for the switch… At Volvo I have no feeling about the maintenance costs. So if you say e.g. parts like water pump, alternator, brakes… at Skoda I think that’s on level VW… Can someone give me the advice? Would really be great if someone had some experience here. Thanks people for your help! LG

Automatic car for max. 3000€
Hallows in the round, for my wife I am looking for a mobile kit, but the search is a bit complicated. She would drive about 8,000 – 10,000 KM a year, mostly in the city. The car must have a (half-) automatic transmission, moreover, please no mulling smoking cart. ABS and ESP would be desirable. Equally important to us is that the car is cheap in maintenance, especially in the liability and spare parts. to, best direction small car. Budget is at 3000€, absolute pain limit 350€ Everything is more or less “luxury”. That would be e.g. electric window lifters or air conditioning. Which cars are recommended with the narrow budget? Which automatic transmissions are reliable and durable in the price range? It’s less about how powerful, fast or anything else they are, but how robust and maintenance-free. is serious and the car is convinced. Better to make 1x bigger ride, than to make 5x in vain smaller rides.

Combi for Europe trip up to 500€
Hello my dear ones, I would like to make a little trip to Europe in mid-July and therefore look for a suitable station wagon. It should be robust and reliable accordingly. I would also like to sleep in it, don’t have to be super comfortable now (I’m 1.79m and slim) I’m not sure what the minimum length of the loading area would be.. you can lie a bit across then I think goes also under 1.79m. I would also like to keep the car after that about 3-4 years. Do you have to recommend me? Do you get something reasonable for the money at all? Do not have any other high demands. Budget really maximum 500€ Cheaper always better Thank you!! P.s. You can give me a few links to your suggestions so that I can orient myself, unfortunately I don’t look through at mobile/autoscout what I can expect for what price of mileage/EZ depending on the model..

First car for 7000 euros?
Moin Moin, after having already opened the thread in the Opel Astra H Forum, I thought it would be more logical to ask here as well. Now I am 17 years old, towards the beginning of December I will be 18 and need a car, for work, etc. One can say to me that I already have a little driving experience since I used to go professional karting (and I know racing is uneven road traffic). Also I have now driven a little accompanying (BF 17). What do I have for Anforderun gen? – Budget: up to approx.700€, if I like something very much also not more. – The car should have a sixth gear, for various motorway rides – My car should also not have too little power, since I plan the car already for a few years.. of course not too much power – A mileage of max. 70,000? 60,000? The car should certainly not cause me any problems in the next time. I have heard that the mileage of small cars is not too big should.. – Dear quality as quantity. But I have never had a car of my own, which is why I can’t answer anything on sentences like “Get a German car, they’re good” .. – Finally I would be happy about a five-door.. but it won’t be a three-doorr either. I think that was it for the first.. I would be happy about some nice answers! Thank you already in advance..

Car purchase and registration
Hello together, I picked out a car at mobile.de and would like to drive to the dealer next Saturday (he doesn’t know anything about his luck yet). The problem is that it’s 2.5 sts drive and 2.5 sts drive back as well. As I, provided the car is as described in the advertisement, only want to drive 1x now I have a problem with the transfer of the car. Because even with a short-term registration mark I need the vehicle letter or appearance which I do not want to drive yet on Saturdays the registration office also has to. On the internet it is that vehicle is immediately available and therefore I assume that you can take it directly with you. That’s certainly not a new problem but I don’t find any foren entries to it. Can you tell me how best to solve this when I want to buy the car on Saturday and take it directly? Thank you Markus

Outdoor car for family of 4 with overnight stay
Hello dear community, first of all: Happy New Year!!! We are a family of 4 (children: 4 and < 1 year) who are looking for a new car. We want to be more on the road on the weekends (new intention) and are therefore looking for a car that is: * For longer distances (i.e. around 150 - 200 km) pleasant to drive with 2 children * Good storage space, so you can also leave things in the car * On site can be used as a sleeping place for 1-2 overnight ungen (also here: With two children) – if possible without having to go to the campsite * Also sometimes can drive well over uneven terrain * Also in the city is well usable We have already thought out the usual suspects: * T6 California Beach: Does not feel so good from the price / performance * RV: Does not go in the city * Caravan: Actually a nice option, but then again the problem with the parking space and you should always go to the campsite * Pickup + Famil ien tent: Could you do it too – but then the problem is that you always have to go to a campsite Do you have an idea that I missed? Is there someone who likes to do similar tours and is happy with his car? Best regards and thank you for your help C

Family car up to 23000€
Hi guys, I’m looking for a new family cruiser. Since we have/have had a lot of problems with our Ford Galaxy this one is now sold because I’m just sick of it. If someone is interested in the freaky story I can recommend it to you. Now to the question, what now? Since the car is usually driven only briefly the consideration is of course whether a diesel is worth it. Honestly I think of the small Ecoboost,TSI engines is not much but rather because we, As I have already written, it’s like with our Galaxy 1.6 ltr 160 hp had a lot of theater. What can you recommend for me so much model? What the future car needs. – plenty of space – Isofix – large trunk – possibly the possibility to take 7 people with you (but not must be) – 1.Seat row should fit an adult between the two child seats Interesting models I found, Sharan 2,0 TSI Kia Sorento (is a diesel) Chrysler Pacifica V6 3,6 ltr (knows the one he?) Skoda Alhambra Audi A6 Avant 3.0 TSI or Diesel BMW 5 Series Touring So I hope you can help me. I look forward to your ideas.

Purchase advice/questions – New (used) golf? other alternatives?
Hello, I recently discovered this forum and thought, I also set my request. I drive about 2700 KM per month (approx. 70% motorway rides) , which is about 32400 KM per year. At the moment I have a Golf 6 1.4 of 2009 with 80 HP which currently has about 110,000 KM down. I bought the Golf in January 2016 with about: 30,000 KM. Before that I had a Golf 5 with 75 HP which I drove until about 130,000 to sell it and on my current Golf 6 u.a. With both vehicles I have had very good experience and never had big problems or extra-scheduled repairs. This reliability was always very important to me because of my many rides. Now I am already slowly thinking about how it will go on for me in the near future. I am absolutely not from the car department, but I have taken care not to buy a car with TSI engine, since there were problems with these probably in the past. in addition, it was important to me that my car has a timing belt and no control chain, because a timing belt should also be more reliable. 75 hp are not always speedy when driving but absolutely enough for me personally. A little more would be ok though 🙂 I would like to buy a used car with a mileage of 20,000-35,000 KM again. Possibly petrol, no diesel. And would be happy about tips. I tend basically because of my good experiences. Is it reasonable to look for a Golf 6 from 2011 or 2012 with the KM running performance I wanted? Or would the cars be too old and therefore the risk of buying too high? Can I generally say up to which years I should look for cars? I would also like to look at alternatives. From the start, I would like to see a golf course in the future – only which model would be the most useful? Great size is a golf for me ok, I don’t need a bigger car. If I had a good offer I would also like to have a VW Polo or Seat Ibiza. Are there any other cars besides the two mentioned, which might be interesting for me? e.g. a Kia Ceed? Seat Leon? or Toyota Auris ? I would be happy about a few suggestions and feedbacks about my questions.

Ford Fiesta
Good evening, profile 31 years old. Hamburger. Driver’s license for 6 years. Single, but also open with one/two passengers. Kilometers in the year 10,000 – 15,000 (I can hardly estimate. Drive on working days 40 kilometers. On free days the car is also used, but less intense (short distance).Jetziger car Honda Jazz 1.2 (first registration 2005, 183.000km) Several accidents, close to total damage. Exhaust gets louder and louder. Rost. Undicht (Scheiben beschmutzen) etc. Ford Fiesta 1.3 51 kW 03/2006 59,000 Km HU 08/2020 (allegedly retired vehicle) 3.000 €Ford Fiesta 1.25 Climate (My first choice, at first glance) 11/2010 105,000 Km HU 06/2020 3.800 €Ford Fiesta 1.25 09/2012 84,000 Km HU 10/2019 5.000 €Ford Fiesta 1.25 10/2010 70.000 Km HU ?? 5.000€ My boss said today at de r Work, he wouldn’t put 5,000 € on the table for a car with 100,000 km on the clock. Is that really such a bad deal? I got my current car from my father/taken over with 130,000 km. He drove himself super. You can’t do so much wrong with a 100,000 km car or how much you do it. Are these attractive offers? -or would I spend too much money on the wrong car. Sven

Car or Car Allowance
Hello, I worked as a consultant and my company provides me with a company car or a Car Allowance. Now I am thinking of whether company car or Car Allowance. If I opt for the Car Allowance so my AG pays me 660€ (gross) in addition to the salary. I get a tank card (must I tax with 140€ as GWV) which I can use privately and for business purposes. KM are completely free. According to calculations, the 500€ (net) is more compared to a company car that I can use 40TSD KM Currently we have an Octavia 3 Combi and an old Fiat Panda. We wanted to exchange my wife’s Fiat Panda for a “newer” bigger car anyway. Budget here ~15,000€ I only took the following considerations 1. Company car and gave up 500€ (net). Full-Leasing service. Every 3 years new car. 2. Car Allowance with the Octavia + used (budget ~15,000€) for my wife 3. Car Allowance with new/used for me + O ctavia for my wife At point 3 I would of course need a very reliable vehicle that will hold at least the next 5 years+. Diesel, robust engine, comfortable seats, Navi … Point 2 is similar to point 3, except that I use Octavia as a service car and my wife needs a new one. Here we have no big requirements I see the biggest night part at Car Allowance in it when my car breaks. I have to pay the costs alone. What do you mean? Greetings, free2k
