  • Outback 2006 Gasoline vs Octavia 2011 Diesel

Hello! I have signed up because I have a question where I turn around: It is the purchase of a car. I live in North Norway and I have to go here and there on bad roads, and 4×4/AWD is a criterion. Driving distances are changing, from daily 10km (grade in winter, in summer more bike), until once twice a month 400km, in some months more. So a colorful mix, and long distance will become more (therefore the consideration diesel). Now I have to choose (my wife w ill kein Manuellen): – 2006er Subaru Outback, 2.5, 168 000km, Automat – 2011er Skoda Octavia 2.0TDI, 4×4, DPF, DSG, 250 000km. Now I can not look into the cars. The Subaru is used by the dealer, the Octavia, but with all services and service booklet (in Norway cars are usually in relatively good condition). Where would you tend? The Subaru has far less KM, but the Octavia looks good. Which car would be more ecological? Sure, both pollute. but it is a concern and hybrids/electrical are not affordable or do not meet the requirements, is it now petrol vs diesel … the Skoda is clearly better with CO2 and consumption..what about NOx/particles with petrol EUR 4 vs Diesel EURO 5? Both are quickly paid off and are exchanged for hybrids/electrics after 2-3 years, but resale is also a topic.

  • Which car fits?

I need a new car from June next year. Of course I could lease another one but I want it to finally be mine. Since I am currently driving an A35 and the bowl tends to sit in countless places (low garage, dirt road, parking exit), I have slow enough of such vehicles and look for one with which I can meet the above requirements and beyond that also into the terrain. By terrain I mean dirt roads, washed-out forest roads and possibly also the one or other way back in the forest. Ground clearance should be about 20 cm from the factory, I will then let the vehicle go even higher and mount all-terrain tires so that it is visually a little more striking. It would be nice if it had a differential lock, but is not a must. Number of seats does not matter. Important: The product is also used as a daily driver for work, so it should be very reliable and not more than 100,000 kilometers on the road. Possibly cars that are in my head: -Mercedes Vito 4×4 Year of construction 2012-2014 -Mercedes Sprinter 4×4 to year of construction 2004 -VW T5 4Motion Transporter -Subaru XV -Subaru Forester -Dacia Duster 4×4 -Suzuki Jimny new generation (unfortunately at shameful prices) I am happy about helpful tips from you, which vehicle is best for me and thank you

  • Fun vehicle search: flat, convertible/roadster, suction cup (?), 2-seater… please get inspiration

Hello Forists and friends of the automobile, I am looking for a 2-seater fun car, which can be purchased additionally. I have my choice at the moment almost completed and start driving vehicles to the test. At the very top of the list is the BMW Z4 (E85) as 2.5si with 218hp (FL-model from 2006). The only alternative would be a Mazda MX-5 NC with 2.0L and 160hp, both vehicles should be switched manually. In the self-search I have due to my own But there are certainly still some “hidden champions” in this vehicle league, which I do not have on the screen. My criteria were: – suction gasoline (possibly this is still negotiable, but I’m not sure…) – 2-seater (…would be full enough) – hand switch (I imagine driving more active) – rear wheel drive + low seat position (ass in front of drive axle) – real chance of a resale (therefore no exotics) – purchase only at the dealer (not private) – 15000 maximum purchase budget (I hope….) To sum up here a few confused thoughts, why another candidate flew out: – SLK I like only from the R172 series, however, because too expensive and turbocharger – Nissan 370Z would be nice, but not findable, inside rather borderline design – Boxster (fear of follow-up costs and somehow “in the head no real / real Porsche) – Opel GT or Speedster (does not like) – Audi TT (8N fallen outside ü Not at all, 8J doesn’t like inside, not “heckler” but four-wheel – Smart Roadster (ah….neee) Did I completely miss something?

  • OPEL CORSA – right?

Moin, after a long round trip, between leasing and direct purchase, between the year 2009 and 2019 I am now 18 years old and have no own car. Do I want one? Yes Do I need one? More or less – yes, because all other vehicles in the household are car rental – registration only possible from 21. So, now I am a bit away from the utopia to lease a new car. Test drive in a new Seat Leon FR (good equipment line) was good, but at least 500€ for 2 years, without there After having a car.. I prefer to fit. Now I want to get a little bit bigger. 10,000€ limit. 60,000 KM limit. Slowly it shouldn’t be, I’m not a complete novice driver, I’ve been driving for a very long time. I’ve looked and found: https://www.autohaus-siebenrecht.de/…/ He looks very likeable.. Do you have any tips? Father is constantly against a Corsa, because it’s a “women’s car”. I find such sexistic clichés simply besc If I like the car, then I like it. Is it sausage, what others think about it. At the end of the day he should drive. No more. Speaking of driving: Route house – work: 25KM Also long distances, since I have acquaintance in the north, then I am good at the weekend and like 600 kilometers in the car. Is that okay for a small car? I look forward to your answers.

  • Which car to commute. Just 77km.

Hello, I am looking for a car for commuting. It should be comfortable to drive. Cheap in consumption. Therefore, preferably a diesel. I am 1.91m and would like to have comfortable seats. Automatic and cruise control. Should be anything between golf size and combi. Annual total driving performance from approx.40 to 50tkm. My profile 20km country 57km highway. Thought of an older used diesel since a new one makes quite a lot of money in a short time Kapput. Had a Frenchman or Opel, Ford in the sense of d a Used quite cheap. What do you think? Have currently a new C class which is too bad to be at the end in 3 to 4 years.

  • Volvo XC40 R-Design T5 or VW Tiguan R-Line 230hp?

Hello together I hope I’m in the right forum here. I’m currently driving the 2017 Volvo XC60 AWD T6 and I’m thinking about changing to a smaller vehicle. Specifically, I’m looking at the two Volvo XC40 R-Design T5 and VW Tiguan R-Line 230PS vehicles, for which I currently have quotations available. They are both new vehicles and practically with full equipment, e.g. assistance systems. l still a little hesitant and would be grateful for experiences. – Has anyone at best taken the same step or vice versa? – How are the assistance systems, Pilot Assist, Lane keeping Aid, etc. compared? Does someone have experiences with both brands and what speaks for VW or Volvo? Thank you for your support.

  • Decision-making aid Diesel – Compacter

Moin, I have to buy a car, because next year I will travel an estimated 18,000-20,000 kilometers. The choice is for a diesel, as I will pull off at least 60% of the track on the BAB. Now I have looked around the used market at the compacts and found 3 interesting cars. All diesels, all Euro6, all run about 50,000km and with good, very similar equipment. Prices in the range between 12 and 13 thousand€. More precisely… Golf VII 1.6TDI (EZ 11/15, 5-speed) Leo n III 1.6TDI (EZ 06/16, 5-speed) Renault Megane 130dci (07/17, 6-speed) The Renault is standing at the dealer’s place around the corner with me, where we used to be with a car a while ago. It was all great. For the others I would have to drive a good track. IdR is very thin in the corner. Which is the best guess? For the Megane speaks in any case the modern optics and longer maintenance intervals. The other two are probably simply the a car. What do you think? Who experiences, especially with the Renault? Thanks and greetings!

  • Reliable car with step neck for 600€

Hello together, after my Fiat Idea is slowly causing problems with the clutch and the repairs are increasing, I am looking for something new. I find cars with step tail most appealing. Price: less than 600€ Brand: No matter what exotic may be Color: No matter age: No matter as long as there are no problems with rust and reliability Number of doors: 4/5 Type of vehicle: No matter what the step tail looks like Fuel type: Petrol Gearbox: Manual gearbox L/100km should be under 10 ble iben. Annually I drive about 10000-15000km Annual planned budget for repairs: 500€ Insurance costs: At the moment I am on SF9, for insurance up to 800€ is planned. Parking aid, Android radio and good speakers are retrofitted. For this I plan another 1000€. The purchase is planned in 2-3 months. I have already informed myself a bit before and came across the following cars: Honda Accord 7 year: ca 2008 Km: <100.00 Seat Toledo Year: ca 2015 Km : <100.00 Fiat Tipo Year: ca 2017 Km: <40.000 Citroen C-Elysee Year: ca 2017 Km: <40.000 Of course there are still Audi A3, Skoda Octavia and VW Passat, but I have heard that the spare parts and repairs are relatively expensive. Can you recommend me some more similar cars? Which of the selected cars is the most durable, reliable and reasonable? What must be taken into account when buying used cars? Thank you in advance!

  • Skoda Octavia IV EU new cars vs. temporary small used ones. Ask for advice!

Hello together! First of all, we have a Opel Corsa C (BJ 2003) next to our Opel Astra K, which has no TÜV since July/August and which we cannot/want to go through. We are dependent on two vehicles, therefore something new has to come up. – We are still at the very beginning of our family planning and we agree that we will buy a Skoda Octavia IV (combi, 2.0 tdi) (the brand new model) as a famlia and pendulum car. – We are laying In general, we don’t want to buy a new car, but rather we would prefer an annual car or a young used car – only because of the purchase price. So we need a new car very soon, which is to become an Octavia IV – but best not as a expensive new car and actually we need the size even when the offspring is there… —————————————————————————————————- So, now al so to our questions – the attentive reader has certainly already identified the dilemma. — 1. EU new car Skoda Octiavia IV order now or used compact car Buy/leasen (transitional) and an annual car/young used Octavia IV? 2. EU new car vs. annual car = same price level according to experience? 3. If transitional compact car: buy and sell leases (12 months) or used privately? 4. How would YOU decide? And why? — We have so far only bought by private and “older” used ones, therefore do us very hard with these questions/decisions. Thank you in advance! Fabinger

  • Young athlete with ~300 hp up to 25,000€

Moin, I’m looking for a new used one. At the moment I swung between the Astra OPC and the Seat Leon Cupra 290. I like the OPC a bit more from the design point of view, even inside I find it a bit more chic, albeit old-fashioned by the technology. Now I would like to consider a few more candidates. I also find the BMW 1er Coupe very interesting.Price: up to max. 25,000KM: up to approx. 60,000gears: switch or automatic motor: from 1.6l to approx. 2.6l. between (about 2 liters around)Form: No small car, no combo. Coupe prefers, but also sodas go fine, should only look sporty.PS: From 250 upwards to 350 ca. Exhaust system: Should cause a pleasant sound, nothing prolliges (no ATU tuning). The OPC has a DB value of 83 or so in the stand. In general I find the OPC sound very good. The Cupra is probably similar, but have not yet been able to compare it in person. Possible no Amis/Japanese, French are auc Does anyone have a few suggestions?
