  • Toyota GT86 (2013)or BMW 135i (2012)

Hello, I would like to buy a new car soon. Can’t decide which one. Price and insurance amount is already all settled. Just about the car. To choose from is once the Toyota Gt86 Bj. 2013) and a BMW 135i (Bj. 2012/13…the one with N55 engine). What experience do you have with the respective cars? Vulnerabilities, problems etc. I actually read only positive things about the Toyota… however, the BMW has more hp and by the turbo it is also “smoker”. V thank you in advance

  • Help with used car search, Diesel Volvo V40 / Mazda 3 or other for frequent drivers

Hello Motor-Talk friends, I have just registered here today because I am a bit at a loss. I am a freelancer and have now decided against leasing and for a good used one. I am a frequent driver up to 40Tkm per year. Therefore: fuel: diesel transmission: automatic Addition: cruise control, climate, hands-free system, Navi (opt) Currently I drive an Audi A1 95hp as a gasoline engine.. I value pleasant sitting because I often travel for a long time. until 12.00€ approx. and the car is supposed to last the next 5 years easily Three cars I have now looked closer: Mazda 3 Lim. Sports-Line cruise control climate PDC for 12T€ 111Tkm (Euro 6) Volvo V40 D3 Geartronic Kinetic for 15T€ with 65Tkm Volvo V40 CC D4 Momentum Automatic PDC 10T€ with 120Tkm (177hp), the car is however from Autohus (auto-hus with 3000 cars and there are often even more costs on it, probably then 11T€) Maybe you can help me decide or have a better suggestion for my requirements. Thank you Marcel

  • Commuter vehicle ~ 100km / day <15,000€

Hello all, I am currently looking for a reliable car for approx. 100km/day or 500km/week. The whole should be less than 15,000€ and at best not too expensive in maintenance / consumption. What I mean by reliable: In the past I had so far two cars: 2010 – 2019 a Honda Civic Bj. 2000 which I drove over 220,000km and had to give with approx. 340.000km due to too much rust in the press. During this time the oil was always so like tires, brakes, filters and spark plugs changed as well as at 260,000km times the timing belt (which still looked top). 2019 – today: a Clio III 1.2 currently approx. 265,000 km (was a gift at the mo. to the TüV). Anyway: – Driving profile: approx. 50km per direction [13km country road > 31km highway > 6km city] – approx. 25,000km/year – Budget: max. 15,000€ (do not have to be fully exhausted) – Gearbox: likes automatic – long-distance suitable -> Comfortable but also sporty (likes also ma l >200 km/h driving) – Combi (as child planned) – Not too expensive in maintenance On the subject of models and brands: I am very open. Currently I look more and more after the 2.0 TDIs of the VAG Group (Golf/Passat Variant; Leon ST; Skoda Octavia) – but the durability of the DSG transmission is questionable to me.

  • Car for commuting

Hello people, after 39 years without my own car well managed, the circumstances require that I get my first own car. But since I don’t know about this topic – a car is for me a useful object, to bring me more comfortable, than by public transport from A to B – I have a question for you.. I only work night shift, have 12 – 14 services per month and have about 40 – 50 km per working day. commuting (short distance via motorway, otherwise rural road and inner town) and would like to drive 1 – 2 times a month longer journeys of 120 – 250 km easy route (Ulm – Stuttgart or Ulm – Mannheim or Ulm – Karlsruhe). My budget should be between 10,000 and 15,000 euros. As a drive I would like to have an automatic and as a fuel for me petrol or hybrid come into question, whereby I would prefer petrolers after all. (Like no Toyota and is now the leading M arke, concerning cars with hybrid drive). I love to do with the Fiat 500 or the Hyundai i10, but wonder if it is advisable to pay attention to things like xenon or LED headlights and if these cars are also really well suited to travel longer distances on the highway. Therefore, my question to you, which cars would you recommend me, which features should definitely be there (What I definitely need are fog lights) and if you want to prefer to grab a young used car (from EZ 2015/2016) or invest a little more and get a new car. Thank you for your answers and suggestions… will probably have an annual driving performance of about 20,000 to 25,000 km.

  • Good used to 10,000€

Tips for buying a car up to 10,000€ Hello municipality, I would like to buy a new used car in the next time and hoped for some tips here. It should be a station wagon and have a maximum of 150,000 km down. I don’t need a diesel as I don’t drive so much. In the closer selection I currently have the Skoda Superb with the 1.8 engine or the Seat Exeo with the 1.8 engine. Would you recommend me one of these cars or do you have better ideas? Thank you already

  • SUV purchase advice

Hello Motor Talkler I’m new here and I need a decision-making aid. And I want to buy a new car next month. I decided to take an SUV because I need the space for me and my family. I’m already the Seat Tarraco 2.0 TDI and TSI and the DS7 Crossback. I like both vehicles very much but I just can’t decide. Currently I drive a 15 year old Opel Signum 2.2 DirectX and since the now More and more coal has to eat something new. At the Tarraco I like that you get the full equipment for just under 50,000, the trunk is very large. Unfortunately the consumption in the VW Group is relatively high what storts me. The DS 7 Crossback looks very futuristic. What bothers me is the return camera. The resolution is not the best and the hat rack I find also not really great. Then I also do not know if I should take a petrol or diesel. I drive about 10 to 15,000 km a year. What I like about the DS7 is the EAT8 transmission. What’s better? An automatic converter or the DSG transmission. Since I live in Berlin it is very difficult to find the right SUV. Luckily, I am moving very much on the outskirts of the city and in the surrounding countryside on rural roads and highways. For your help I thank you already and look forward to your answers. Greeting Payns84

  • Replacement wanted for Yaris XPF9 from 2008

Hello dear forum community, I am currently thinking about a change from my current vehicle to a newer one and would like to have some ideas from your side. I think that this vehicle could soon get into expensive repairs, which are not worthwhile for me or where a change might be more useful at the moment. Current vehicle: Toyota Yaris XPF 9, Sol equipment, 69hp approx. 65,000km, of which 50% last year since I got it driving profile: Professionally on the road 35k km in the year On weekends mostly short distance, to the office 25km (15km motorway) Often also further routes to the customer desired vehicle: as young as possible (EZ 2018/2019) economical (should not consume more than my current) slightly more hp (~90-100) Budget 10,000-15,000€ I currently have a Toyota dealer nearby, who offers a Yaris 1.5 with 111hp for about 14.500 € in the Y20 version. Also there is the hybrids on offer there wür 17.500 € If here a change to e in the hybrids at all useful? How future-proof would a petrol engine be? Would a new car be worth the offer or would it be better used here? Thank you for your input dear greetings Luna

  • 1er BMW or Mercedes A-Class used

My little sister wants to buy a car. From the house of the fraud nothing comes into question. So only BMW and Mercedes remain as serious car manufacturers. It fluctuates between a 1er and an A-Class. She reaches the basic engine, so about 100hp gasoline. Besides PDC she has no big equipment requests. It is to become a relatively young used, so about 3 years to 4 years and not too many km. Now the question arises, which of the two of the unproblemat is more expensive and what you should pay attention to and where you get more for your money. Both are not cheap. So around 15 TEURO can spend it.

  • New utility car approx. 3500-5000

Good morning, our car is an economic total damage (Renault mode EZ 2005, 111hp, 70k Km), now a new one has to come and I look for support by information. We drive about 10-15k Km a year, mostly in the city (PLZ 452). For us a must: – automatic – parking assistance min. back – air conditioning – car is a bit higher when sitting, like our old – may not be much bigger than a mode, if only something or something smaller – PS should be as strong as in mode – good Everything else is luxury and you are happy about it (seat heating, cruise control and and and). The price should be approximately in the range of 3500 to 5000 EUR, if it is something about it and is worth it, will be pondered. Once sat in a mini, there is felt the intervertebral disc incident guaranteed, our mode was extremely soft on the road. The car should not be the most expensive in maintenance, in terms of fuel consumption it will be with the currently in focus lying in the city traffic a little more become, because we probably do not get around it, at least a gas foot is not available. I am absolutely car rental, that is not my area. I read again and again there are good and bad automatics with abbreviations, with which I can quickly do nothing. One recommend cars up to max. 125k Km, the other say there are also models that hold loosely 300k Km and can also be considered. Car should be used about 3-5 years and then replaced with a newer used one and then sold. Which bothers me somewhat with the mode that the timing belt has to be replaced every 5 years. Otherwise it was a good car. Current cars, which after mobile… and classified ads in this price range are in focus: – Citroen C3, 109 hp – Opel Meriva A 105 – 125 hp – Renault Mode, 111 hp All have between 60-80k km on it, which seems good to me. nderen Thread is recommended a Golf 5 Plus 1.6 102 hp from 2007-2008 for 4000, but I don’t find one in this price region, but it sounds very interesting. Do you have any information about the mentioned cars (recommend/recommend) do you have any other suggestions? I’m grateful about the answers and hope I can look for a new car a bit more accurately. LG Paco
