  • Search Van / bus for 4 children (+ space for strollers)

Hello, we are currently driving a Toyota Verso, which is sufficient for 5 people so far, but since there is another new generation, something bigger has to happen. Budget would be approx. 25,000€, not older than 3 years max. 45,000km, sliding doors would be nice but no need. Application profile: Mainly short distance in urban traffic (between 3 and 15km), during the holidays / on weekends irregularly even longer distances, like approx. 12,000km a year. To the driving profile probably no diesel (or?) fits and thus fall most buses (Tourneo, H1, Vivaro & Co) through the grid?!. VW T5 / T6 can hardly be found as a gasoline truck and are too expensive for me. The compact vans with their “emergency seats” (which I also count to it) also fall out, with 6 or 7 seats there is definitely not enough space in the trunk for prams / purchases and also sometimes holiday luggage, so I am open for all suggestions Thanks already.

  • SUV, van or station wagon? Lots of space is a must..

Hello together, we have a new car purchase in the near future. I write “again” because we have had a lot of bad luck with cars in the past years. Over 80,000,- purchase prices for 5 cars in 6 years (Audi A 6, 2x VW Touran, Chevrolet Orlando, Hyundai Santa Fe) an absolute must is a lot of space, since we have a dog with 80kg, as well as it must be an automatic. “luxury” equipment rather secondary (seat heating, Navi, sliding roof, leather cruise control etc.) as we this time ni I was thinking of Mercedes (we haven’t had it yet) whether it was a station wagon or bigger. However, I have read that some models are susceptible to rust…. Recommendations? Thank you LG

  • Buying advice Family van

Hello. Well a more general request: Search for a new car (because of new generation). The following requirement profile: Daily driving performance about 40 km (road). Car should have a lot of space without having to look like a boring van directly: Get offspring, therefore a pram has to fit in easily (plus luggage for longer rides) AND a medium-sized dog box (for a Labrador-Rüden) must fit into the trunk. If possible with sliding doors – but is not a must. I could pay a total of 15000 euros (i.e. minus the C5) for my current C5. Cars should not be older than 5 years and should not have more than 150000 km on them. I’m looking forward to your suggestions.

  • Commuter Kombi – very difficult decision

Hello guys, maybe one of you has a tip or ideas. The following starting situation: A commuter combo (100km a day, 50km a route) which comes with private rides on easy 30tkm/year He should not be too old, have automatic and at least 130 hp. definitely seat heating, climate control, cruise control. Now I can’t decide: either a new, less attractive car with a lot of warranty like e.g. a Hyundai I30 or for the same money a 3 Series BMW Touring, For example, 320d budget is 20-25k What would you do? Is really heavy – one would have no or little guarantee = risk Then the diesel question… at min. 30 p.a. probably the better choice? At least Euro 6 then. With so many kilometers the car should be fun, comfort and a nice interior. That’s why I came to the 320D (Facelift from 2015). But I am really unsure. There are so many cars on the market. Or an older one might buy its 100,000 or is it close to it? Perhaps more meaningful, if I drive so much in the year anyway? Perhaps one of you was faced with similar questions? LG Dennis

  • Muscle Car ## 80/90s Retro

Hello together, I bought a new Seat Leon Cupra 2 months ago and am also super satisfied – a very great car where the price/performance ratio more than fits! However, I always had the desire for a pure “fun/hobby car” to care for and drive out. (of course I also care for my Cupra ) I would like a Muscle Car and thought about Mustang, Camaro, Corvette, …but also for further suggestions – gladly also 80s/90s cars from D euchland, Japan, etc. Cost of purchase: I thought of 5T€-10T€, air up would still be there, but preferred in this range. Of course, I don’t want to buy scrap and I know: who buys cheap buys 2x maintenance costs: per month I thought so about All-Inclusive 300-400€ (insurance, fuel, maintenance, reserves repair, etc.) Now it’s up to you, please skin out your suggestions, no matter if convertible or coupe, just everything that fits in this time Please also with the Of course: the cheaper, the better – but it shouldn’t be cheap or scrap. Thank you LG Jonas

  • Who offers me the most for my used …

Hi * I have here a 2006 focus with a discreetly insinuating engine damage (oil consumption 6l on 1000 on the highway) repair costs between 2-3000 Eu. Not economical. But also hard to knock, at least with a clean conscience. I drive a lot of city, sometimes also on trips, 10-15000 km/year. Which new car dealer offers a good offer to take my Ford in payment when buying new and who offers a recommended new car. I had a Hyundai I30 ( Fastback) looked at, also a new focus would be nice, both not in the wooden equipment therefore easily above the budget and a bit of power would not be bad … he should cost so around the 20K +/- or under it, gladly also with a minus 5% financing … makes times offers … a golf is over there, right? Skoda also has beautiful Töch … cars … important to me would be the Kombi Old car away / new car ago … Greeting M

  • Car up to 3000€ for short distances

Hello all, I have had my driving licence for a year and have so far driven my parents’ car ( Opel Zafira). Now I want to buy my own car, which is mainly to be used daily for short distances. Since I read here that petrol engines are better suited for short distances, this would of course be beneficial. Had so far thrown an eye on the golf and the polo. Do me a favor also bmw,Audi (these are however due to the old/repair prone t not recommended for me?) But I’m also open to other proposals. But the car should also look reasonably in order (no typical renter car or similar). It shouldn’t be susceptible to reperature (I know, difficult with this budget). I hope you can help me / advise me and thank you already in advance Postcode: 35683

  • Desperate: A4 vs A5

Hello dear forum, I am officially desperate ;( I have configured an A4 and an A5, of course both as equal as possible (Assi system, color etc.) But this has now led to the fact that I have absolutely no idea which one to take! I want as high comfort as possible but with sporty design, therefore the A5 with comfort suspension. It becomes a commercial leasing, but since I am not yet self-employed, I have to pay 30% deposit (this will be important at the bottom of the text). Both I want 48 months and 22,500Km per year. The A5 Sportback is just a beauty, there is no discussion for me, seen, in love. I configured the A4 with S-Line Exterierer, problem, because with that the soda also looks not exactly bad (If it was ugly I would not have a dilemma at all! ;() problem is, the A5 still likes a tick better, but the A4 is 4,000€ cheaper! So I pay almost 4,000€ for an optical package! (Ouch) (1220€ Anzah What should I do?? ;( A4: A5JZYL5C A5: AQ4DEWVG I would also have 3 questions that you might be able to answer by the way (would be nice) 1. Did you notice that you don’t have the option “Acoustic glazing front door windows” to choose from in the A5?! Why not, I think A4, A5 and Q5 are all the same in principle?! 2. In the A5 there is “Slice wiper interval circuit with light sensor” (series) and “rain sensor”, what is the difference? Is it worth it? 3. ann do not choose the options “USB charging interfaces for rear passengers” and “non-smoking execution” at the same time, but I am strict non-smokers and am now insecure. I’m looking forward to your opinions.

  • Family car up to 16,000€ and 32,000km of mileage annually

Hello together, by moving to the surrounding area and planned family growth, I am looking for a car, which has comfortable/comfortable and yet enough space for 2 children. My basic conditions: 1. Price +-16,000€ 2. mileage up to 100,000km 3. Diesel Euro 6, but can also be natural gas or electric 4. My working distance is currently a total of 100km per day with 90% highway and the rest within 5. We wanted to go on holiday and 2 Reboarders + luggage should at the end also reinp 6. Visually it should be something simple 7. No Van In the eye I had the VW Passat Variant. Are there alternatives that can still lift about 150,000km over the next 4-5 years? Quite robust and yet comfortable? Skoda Octavia, Volvo V60 or Mercedes-Benz C 220? Postcode 63… + 100km radius. Thank you!

  • A3 annual car vs. Golf 7 day registration

Hello, which is the more reliable or “better” car? The car should remain in my possession for 10-12 years or 150tkm respectively.- Audi A3 TFSI 30 (1.0 115hp, equipment Sport) as annual car – Golf 7 TSI (1.5 130hp, equipment Highline) as daily registration Most routes I drive are between 10-30km. Maybe 5-6 times a year highway (150-400km). Basically I drive more comfortable, on the country road I do not have to overtake everyone, speed 130 on the highway is enough for me.Me ine thoughts about the vehicles so far :A3 : + for me the better design (inside/outside), a little more the “will-have-feel” + is the engine faster to operating temperature due to the more compact design? – 3 cylinders – permanently vibration-free? – used, even if only a few km or months (ex-car) – MMI even in old age without problems ?Golf 7 : + 0km (day registration) + very easy operation, good all-round view – cylinder shutdown and VTG loader – permanently without problems? The engines are direct injections, which of the two engines will tend to be less coked? What are your opinions or tips? As already indicated above, the pure performance in kw/PS is not decisive for me. Reliability, quality of the materials installed and manufacturing are more important to me.
