Hello, I am looking for a new car. Currently I drive an Audi A3 8L Bj. 2001 1.6l petrol, in the year about 25.000km come together (commuters, 35km easy) – which is also the reason for a new car. Budget MAX. 15000 Euro. Originally I looked for an A3 Sportback Bj. from 2005, as diesel. What I still do. But they are quite high traded, e.g. one of BJ 2008 with acceptable equipment under 100000km you pay still good 12000 Euro. Now I was on the new car. Seat Leon attentively, there is as a new model with 1.6 TDI engine and good equipment with just 20000km for 17000 euros. E.g. http://ww3.autoscout24.de/classified/262941967?asrc=st i the mileage of about 25000km I don’t know now if the TDI still pays off. Maybe you can support me in my decision. Thanks already!!!

Mini or compact van for 4000€
Hi, now I have to open a thread here. And indeed the Space Star of my grandparents broke today and now a replacement has to come. Actually they could just buy the same car again, but there are also other cars in this segment, I wanted to ask here for advice. Requirements are: -Climate -5 doors -Not under 90hp -level cargo space with folded rear seats (very important!) -approx. 18tkm a year -Nevertheless rather a petrol engine because of very many short distances not older than 10 or 11 years and best not over 125tkm on the watch manual transmission consumption not significantly above 8l/100Km -Excluded are already Hyundai Matrix (ugly) as well as my favorites Lancia MUSA and Fiat Idea (too small). That’s all I think, the budget is as mentioned about 4t€ ZIP code is actually unnecessary to enter here but further north than Göttingen/Leipzig/Dortmund should not be an ad if possible. I ask the question here in ers th line because of the foldable rear seats that have to give a flat surface and because 2 eyes don’t see as much as, well, more than 2 eyes What does this look like with Mazda Premazy or Ford C-Max? I’m also smart now, it has to go fast, my grandparents urgently need the car. MfG

Solid car – commuting – approx. 35,000 KM per year – Student
Hello together, I’m looking for a car for myself. Briefly to me: I’ll start my dual studies next year. To my training company I would drive about 160KM per day (return trip). This for almost 6 months, after that the theory phase would begin, then come together again a few kilometers. – Budget: 7000 – 8000 € – KM Per year: about 35,000 KM – Driving style. more sporty – 1.88m tall and slim 80 KG – 3 years should keep the car, after that I’m ferti g with the study and get a company car! “low value loss” would of course also be class.. – Route: Warendorf (48231) to Herford (32051) – a lot of highway and highway – should therefore run “quietly” so that driving is not too exhausting – saloon, compact class, coupé – no combi! – 2/3 doorr or 4/5 doorr, depending on the class. – Running performance: preferably under 60,000 KM depending on the model, how long-lasting they are and from when the repairs start. I have no experience – Color: preferably black, white, grey. or silver, red, blue. (as seriously as I don’t take that) – PS: not the lowest motorization, healthy average would be appealing here – Diesel or gasoline (the petrol engine best under 7.5 liters in consumption) – Equipment: fog lights, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, MP3 Aux CD, E-window lifter, ABS and such things. ss but Nice to Have and I think also sometimes realistic in the price range. – No Go’s: Corsa, Twingo, old B class Mercedes, old A class Mercedes and these really small cars! The only small cars I like is the Seat Ibiza and the Fiat Punto. I think a diesel would be a good solution here. If you recommend me a petroler, please make sure that it does not swallow too much. Since I as a dual student do not earn so much. I tend to prefer a comp The car should be relatively robust and not too vulnerable. The insurance, repairs, taxes are taken over by my parents. I have already looked at the following models or informed myself about them. – Ford Focus (from 2004) prefers the facelift models from 2008 (2/3 or 4/5 doors) – Opel Astra H (from 2004) prefer the facelift models from 2007 (2 3/3 or 4/5 Doors) – Fiat Bravo (type 198) (from 2007) (2/3 or 4/5 Doors) – Fiat Punto (Grande or Evo) (from 2005) (2/3 or 4/5 Doors) <- very uncertain, suitable for long distances? Does this quiet run? - Hyundai i30 (from 2007) (2/3 or 4/5 Doors) - Seat Ibiza (from 2008) (2/3 or 4/5 Doors) - Audi A3 (from 2003) (2/3 or 4/5 Doors) would of course be a dream (bin Audi Fan :P) Only with the budget the mileage is correspondingly higher than with the others. How about the robustness? I'd like to take a car which has already run 70 or 80 thousand? - BMW 1er (from 2004) (2/3 or 4/5 doors) So do you have any other models? I would think of golf, but that would be technically expensive, I get on at SF 1/2 and have the car insured via my parents. Unfortunately I find to the above mentioned models hardly a diesel that has a low mileage. Can you recommend me some? I would like to buy a car this year approx. . Location: Warendorf, 48231 Thank you, if any information is needed, please report! VG Timo

Search very reliable diesel up to 10,000,-€
Hello together, first of all a big praise to this great forum. I have been reading with you for a long time, and I have received many good tips and suggestions from this forum!! My Skoda Fabia 1.9 SDI with 350,000 km unfortunately does not make it through the TÜV, without which the costs remain in proportion. I would like to buy a car that should meet the following criteria: -Diesel (daily working distance 30 km, i.e. 60km total) -First of all I drive alone, on the weekend my wife drives mi t, and our little son. So a stroller should come in, which I am currently also getting into the Skoda Fabia Limousine (BJ 2003) -very reliable (I tend to Toyota/Mazda) Which models/engines are recommended here? -What alternatives are there? -The maintenance costs should be within the frame/average -I drive 95% country road -I want to keep the car the next 6-8 years I’m looking forward to your tips! Thank you!

Tractor
Quotation: For train combinations of class BE the following condition applies from 19.1.2013: The zGM of the trailer must not exceed 3,5 t, otherwise the class C1E is required. The regulation valid until 19.1.2013, that with the class BE also trailers with a zGM > 3,5 t can be driven (e.g. so-called mini-sattelkfz), remains for the owners of class BE, to which this driving licence was granted before 19.1.2013. (This results in the limitation of the zGM only by means of the legal regulations and technical limits of the construction and operating regulations of the StVZO road traffic registration regulations).

Sale Skoda Fabia and cheaper, good replacement wanted
Hello, my parents (pensioners) have a Skoda Fabia 1.2 TSI ambition. EZ 10/2013, approx. 20,000 km on the clock. Now the question is whether they sell the Fabia (should you get quite good money for it… 10,000 €?!) and buy a slightly older used car for it (budget max 5000 €, also less; from year of construction 2008). In itself they are very satisfied with the Fabia, but as a pensioner you can use the one or other € more in the cash register and drive a lot more. rd yes no anyway. Long distance so 1x a year to Lake Garda. What do you think of the idea? Wanted would be one of the size at least. similar replacement with from 80 hp (as sucker), because they live in the Franconian middle mountains and since already one or other climb must be mastered. Also the winter strikes there quite times for longer time. The sitting position should not be too low and large technical snaps are not necessary. Climate, ZV and radio are thus the most important for mei I also think comfortable seats. It should also be maintenance-friendly and reliable, as the car should stay in use longer. What would be good opportunities? Thought about a Opel Meriva for example. Would they like to. Look forward to your help and opinions!

Vehicle with automatic transmission up to approx. 1500€ – Tips?
Moin, unfortunately there are sporadically problems with my left knee due to my age, so it is extremely painful to kick the clutch. For this reason I want to get an old “automatic” again. At the moment I drive an Audi A4B5 with a circuit, before that I drove a beautiful old Audi 80, where unfortunately the automatic transmission was over and when switching from the 3rd to the 4th gear always loud squeaked and also jerked – very annoying… In the next six weeks I hope to have some small change together (more than about 1500 euros are unfortunately not in) to buy me a car with automatic. I would like to have some tips from the specs among you, which brands and models are suitable and which are rather unsuitable. I would love to drive an old Audi 80 again, but I heard that the gearboxes should not be the best for older Audis. I also had a nice old Omega A, which drove very well with the automatic, I don’t like to make the mistake of being led by a model or brand to purchase and then have problems with the gearbox. If the car lasts two or three years I would be satisfied 🙂 Who has good tips (brand/model/series) that are “usable” or unusable? Would have been interested in a Daimler (190er e.g.), gammeln yes but unfortunately under one way… I am grateful for any help! Many greetings! Nils

Limousine up to max. 23.000€
Good day, I’ve been a busy reader of this community for a long time and have now registered as well. I’m looking for a car and I need your advice. It’s supposed to be this way next summer. A new car is supposed to be here. It’s supposed to be a limousine. Max. 100,000km, automatic, PDC and EZ starting in 2008. That’s my requirements. I don’t have a choice between diesel or gasoline. I’m currently driving a 105hp Seat Leon with 1.6l engine. I would like to ride comfortably, but sometimes a bit more sporty and splashy. My driving performance is between 16,000 and 18,000 km per year. About 45% of this city, 35% rural road and 20% highway. In the narrow selection I see an A4, 3 Series BMW and the C-Class of Mercedes. I don’t know which engine I’m taking here either. The 1.8TFSI from Audi could be affected by the exhaust system and I hear from the driver. The 320d/i is said to have problems with the control chain, as well as various 4-cylinder engines from BMW. I have not heard anything negative about the C-Class yet. But I also have the choice between 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder. My budget is € 23.000. The six-cylinder engines are more likely to be found with diesel than with gasoline. Advantages, disadvantages? Is there anything about the rumors? A test drive m it some cars should take place at the beginning of next year, but first I need to know which more accurate model (motorization), so I hope for your advice.

Purchase decision – S3 Cabrio / 435i Cabrio / Porsche Boxster
Hello together, I’m just about to decide for one of the models mentioned. I know it’s 3 different concepts, compact fabric roof, mid-range roof, roadster. I like the three of them all very well and in price they play in more or less the same league. Incl. special equipment they are all with a BLP of 60-65K. Since the S3 convertible is not yet bookable for a test drive I have tested the 1.8 TFSI. Boxster and 435i as well. what would you decide? Here are my pros and cons: S3 convertible: + everyday use + price/conditions + interior design and processing + powerful engine – the fact that it is actually “only” an A3 – emotionless exterior design, reminds me very much of the sterile VW design language… Eos, Golf Cabrio 435i convertible: + interior size – also suitable for 4 + exterior design + row-six o price/conditions – interior does not quite meet the premium requirement – too much resembles the 1er, 2er, 3er Porsche Boxster: + fantastic design inside as well as outside + driving characteristics, handling + exclusivity – does not stand at every corner + relatively small loss of value o everyday suitability quite available, however no comparison to the S3 and 435i – conditions/price – running costs
