Hello, I bought an Opal Astra Caravan Diesel 1.9 (100,000km, BJ 2005) in September. After 2 weeks alternator+battery broke, after a few weeks only a seal on the oil filter?, then at some point the light just didn’t turn on, only after I had restarted… and now the car is back in the workshop because it raced at the first 3cm pass through the clutch and the gears can be switched much worse within just a few days. After the first h I’ve been driving the car for 15,000km and only the highway. I’ve now done enough painting and I just want to get rid of the car. Luckily I have a 1 year warranty for a smoked car, which will not help me with the clutch either. By August I had a Golf 5 petrol 1.6, which also left me because of a gear damage and defective alternator. I didn’t want to take credit and had the yard The Astra will last for a few years without any major problems. Push cake! I don’t want any more damage to occur. Now I’m looking for a RELIABILITY car, as it looks like, I don’t care what kind of frills it is. It should be a diesel, as I drive a lot and be known for reliability. In addition, it should be allowed to pull 1500kg (this can already be a golf). Do you have any tips? I have no idea in which direction I should look around. I paid 5,500€ for the Astra. I just don’t have so much money, but if I want to have something reasonable I probably have to take more in my hand… I think up to 10k would be in it, maybe 12 but there’s really end in the terrain and the car should just last for a long time. I’m really desperate.

Mileage and service book faked!
Hello, last Thursday I bought an Audi A4 built in 2009 quattro. Checkbook maintained with 129,000 km. Now I call yesterday at the Audi dealer who carried out the inspections to find out what was done during the last inspection. Yes, the good man told me that the car was never with him. The mileage would also be there – hold on to just under 360,000 km. The car was always maintained in another Audi workshop, all very orderly h and in December a large inspection was carried out again, where many new parts were installed, which was also very expensive. Everything nice and good, only the mileage is just 3 times as high. The car is very neat and clean, runs also quiet and good (3.0 TDI tiptronic) Yesterday I was already with the police, the name of the seller and the address is not correct. I got the vehicle with short-term identification marks. we had met at a gas station, the recordings are unfortunately already overplayed. Did someone ever have such a case? How did you go about it, what can you do and how are the chances of success to get his money back at least partially? How long should such a well-kept car still be able to run? Thank you very much. LG Bella

(upper) middle class Kombi 10,000 EUR
Good morning dear specialists, I am still looking for a used car. I am looking for / wish for a large combination with appropriate interior and pleasant driving feeling. Budget approx. 10k EUR. Benchmark is for me an Audi A6 Avant 3.0 TDI (of course leather and Navi, switch or automatic I don’t care). This is a car that fulfills my wishes both of the size, the haptic as well as of the motorization. Unfortunately, it is clear to me that for the money such a car does not exist n will. Question is, what’s the closest thing to this? When I read so much in the forum, both diesel and Audi are rather negatively occupied. When I enter the following criteria at mobile.de only 1 Audi A6 Avant 2.8 and 2 or 3 E class 200T. not a single Volvo V70 (I once considered), no Ford Mondeo, which is so praised here (maybe an emergency solution) However, I don’t know Saab 9-5 or Honda Accord =>, what about it? No interest do I have in French, Ita The following questions move me: Are such vehicles (age, mileage) still “reasonable” or is that just a bunch of rolling electric scrap? Does a “serious” dealer still sell such cars to private (in my experience, rather no)? I could also imagine an “old” car, e.g. LS400 or W126. But that is probably pure sense? Do you think that this is the best way to do this? If it makes sense to look even further here or if you have to admit that you would rather look in the “bread and butter class” (middle class, golf class)? Then you would come according to the criteria Audi A4, Astra, Mazda 6, Signum etc. Thank you for your assessment!

Diesel, gasoline, hybrid or electric. Now buy or wait for SUV (50,000 km per year) ?
Hello, since the Stuttgart-Diesel-judgment I am totally unsure what I should buy for an SUV in the 30-40,000 € class. Probably other cities in your “environmentally friendly madness” Stuttgart and one can soon with a diesel no longer into the big cities. The used car prices with diesel will collapse. Petrolers for me due to the consumption do not come into question, because the SUV of the 30 – 40,000 € class as gasoline / automatic according to. Spritmonitor usually over 1 0 l/100 km. Comparable diesels are to be driven with 6 – 8 l. and the diesel is still well about 20% cheaper than Super. Hybrids are partly not my thing (e.g. Toyota and other “not plug in”. Others who drive properly (“Plug in”, are completely detached expensive. Full electric is not available as SUV yet, whereby I would consider here an e-golf, a Tesla model 3 or a Mercedes B-Class. What to buy, if in 2-3 years the car with 95,000 km or 145,000 km still at a reasonable price to get to the man? Greetings

Suggestions for comfort up to 30,000 €
Hello people! I would like to look for some suggestions. Do you have suggestions for a car that costs … up to 30,000 €. Also younger used cars, … gasoline, … is as comfortable as possible. I would look for both suspension and noise comfort. Especially wind noise should be as low as possible, … still fits into a normal garage. Do you have any idea yet? Thank you, Carsten

Combi limousine at 10T€
Hello, I need your help with my purchase decision for a new used car. Budget is about 10T€ +- air is there. Driving performance: 12-15Tkm if min 50km (service car without private use VW T6 is not available so no service rides) It is important that the car is not too narrow I am 1.90m tall and rower. I have already thought about which cars are suitable for me (can also be other brands except VW, “Seat”, Audi, Skoda. 1. Renaul t Laguna 3 From 2009 150hp or 178hp Diesel 2. Opel Insignia (seeming to be quite difficult) 3. Citroen C5 4. Toyota Avensis 5. Mazda 6 6. possibly Seat Exeo 1.8T (150hp) the TFSI are too vulnerable to me. In itself, no diesel is worth it, but many of these cars are felt to be 80% only as diesel. The car should have min. 150hp also likes to have more (preferably with turbo). Manual transmission or automatics does not matter. Air conditioning is a must. Navi and Xenon would be good. (no need) Best D ank in advance.

Question to the used car dealers –> Warranty
Hello and good morning, I have a question for the used car dealers here. I am currently operating a tyre service as well as a car trade. The latter, however, so far only with new vehicles. However, as more and more requests for used vehicles come I think about an extension. My question to you: How do you minimize your risk which arises from the warranty? Additional sale of a warranty insurance? it only take over the part (possibly excess of the insurance) which is not covered by the GV? Or do I see this wrong and the GV does not jump in in in the warranty case? If yes, with which guarantee insurance did you have good experiences? Thank you already times and nice greetings.

Advice fun car
Hello Greetings Looking for a new car, I came to this page via Google. I have a dream of a car for fun longer and now that my 2 children have finished their studies and are now making their own money, I would like to fulfill my dream of a PS strong car. Always had a PS strong Audi in mind, but I have distanced myself from that. My budget is 60000€,and it should be a new car or a max. 1 year old car. I do not need space in the Aut o,can also be a quiet 2 seater with small trunk. With my wife also a new purchase is available this year, and it will be a combination of the compact class, so that purchases etc can be done. Look forward to suggestions, probably are cars that I did not have on the screen until now. mfg Walter
