  • Purchase advice: 2500 budget. Km vs EZ vs quality ?

Hello to each other, I’m new here in the forum and I’m looking for tips for buying a used car. Thanks to everyone who can help me with tips Because my work is no longer accessible by bike, I would like to buy a car for the first time in my life. It should only work and my knowledge is also underground. However, I have been trying a lot to read and inform myself for a few days. Budget: up to 2,500Euro Usage: 45km a day on the S tadtautobahn durability: hopefully 5 years (at approx. 15,000 km/year) My questions: Because of the budget, cars that were produced between 2000-2005 come into question and have between 50,000-90,000 km down. How should I capture the balance between age and consumed kilometers? Is it better to produce a car with 90,000 km but in 2005 (12 years old), or to take one with 50,000 km down, but produced in 2000 (17 years old)? Models: I don’t care comfortable to It shouldn’t be sporty either, just safe, small (I’m not a good parker) and can do as long as possible without repairs. I found a Mercedes class A 140 W 168 to these criteria, also a VW Polo, although they are always a bit more expensive and have more kilometers down. The VW Fox also fits well with my criteria, but I have already read a lot of bad things about it. And with an Asian manufacturer (or Fiat?) I’m not sure if they are so good. Since I know nothing, I don’t want to have to go to the workshop so often. Can someone give me some tips and help me? I am naturally also grateful for other model proposals and open for everything. Thank you very much! Sarah

  • Smart Roadster for 1.85m and 145kg?

As the title already says, I want to get it straight to the point. I am 17 and want to get my first car close soon. To study I probably need something small, moderate in the maintenance for the city. Therefore, the numbers of the smarts let me ponder whether it will become my future. Hard consumption, virtually no tax, unconventional, exotic design. Eigtl. exactly mine. But since I don’t understand anything about cars and have not yet sat in a real one , I would like to know from you: What kind of mileage can you expect? And do I even fit in there? (1,85m/145kg) in various forums it was called up to 2m you should probably climb but in sitting there do not have any problems. I thank you for your help and am happy to be open for other suggestions!!

  • Used car check

Good morning, yes, there are many threads to it… And the various providers are quite critically evaluated. When I was looking for another car, I offered my golf at the brand dealer, where I wanted to buy the “new” one, for payment. He checked the car thoroughly, and also told me the result in detail. With this information I could sell the car on fair conditions (I could correctly provide information) privately. Andersrum it would not be wrong. If you want to buy a newer car from approx. 5000 EUR, you can also go to the brand dealer and have the car checked through. A deal with the seller would also be possible: if everything is right with the car, it will be bought, if not, the seller will bear the costs (or the costs will be shared). Also about the history of the car there would be no misunderstandings, at least if the history of the car would be stated as “check-booked”. Is there good counterarguments, i.e. arguments, which justify such an approach as outcast money, and yet better to go to the usual evaluators of ADAC, Dekra and consorts, if you have no expert advisor in the backhand?

  • Car for everyday use up to 250€ maximum 3000€

Good day, Since it is now clear that I will not bring my current vehicle through the TÜV anymore, and continue driving, something new will be done from next month to June. Since it takes time for the vehicle to be offered in this price range, which one would like to have, I now wanted to look around and inquire about it. To my driving profile: – Ca 900-01000 KM a year – Short distance to work 12KM away to work, 15KM away to school – weekend I drive a lot of Landst I was thinking about the car, where the vehicle is kicked, and the data about my current vehicle: – rear wheel drive – combi – 1.8L 122hp What the vehicle should have: – Should be a limo, otherwise a combi – rear wheel drive or all-wheel drive (would be something new), front drive is not the real thing for me. – 150hp – onboard computer, window lift Electric front (but are things that I look for when looking for them) So far I have found interest in: – A4 B5 1.8TQ (I was told that they were looking for). – Audi 80,100,200 – BMW 3 Series, 5 Series It should already be in the direction of Audi,BMW and maybe even again Mercedes, other manufacturers of course also go, except VW,Opel,Skoda, because I don’t really like the vehicles from the look. After all, I have to drive around with them ^^ Maybe you have some suggestions and ideas. Unfortunately I don’t know if a turbo makes any sense, for the short distance, except only on weekends and holidays we nn you drive longer. I have 500€ monthly for repairs there, can screw yourself and knows someone near me who can help me with problems, because he himself is a screwdriver and has a workshop. MFG

  • Which compact car with high seating position and entry + good guarantee (automatic up to approx. 25k €)

Hello together, my mother has enormous problems with her knee and is very difficult with her current Ford Focus (2003) and above all with the manual transmission. I would like to give her a car / finance and surprise her with it. It is important here just as high a entrance and also a high sitting position and a good automatic transmission + gasoline, because little long distance and a lot of commuting traffic (daily approx. 30 km) and annually approx. 10,000 km driving performance. The brand is perfect no matter – it’s more important to have a good and long warranty so that it doesn’t have to worry about expensive repairs in the first few years. It has been driving accident-free for more than 20 years, so SF-classes don’t play a really significant role. New price with a maximum of 25,000 EUR. I always hit the Opel Meriva – but I personally only have my own experience with Japanese and VW and am not really sure about that. ieoption if possible).Thank you in advance for your tips and experiences. Greetings Jan

  • Search fuel saver

Hello, I am looking for a small new or young used up to 900€. If it makes it cheaper, I could also pay in cash. I drive about 30 km daily to work 50% highway, 30% highway and 20% city traffic (and again 30km back 🙂 ). I want to have a fuel-saving car that is as low as possible maintenance. I thought maybe of a C1/107/Aygo or a Skoda Citigo or a 108 or Kia Picanto. As equipment is only a radio important to me. Possibility I should be able to survive a smaller accident (with the old Smart I always had the feeling that the legs could be broken because he has no carriage zone). Unfortunately I have no idea at all about cars. I had thought of finally deciding for the KIA because it has at least 7 years guarantee. What do you mean? I am also open to other suggestions. Thank you!

  • Compact car (diesel/automatic) up to 15,000€

Hello. My 2001 A4 is finally going down, so my wife and I (1 daughter) need a new car. – Compact car or “larger small car” (then as a combi) – Diesel from 100hp and automatic – Approx.25000km/year – No older than 6 years, no more than 70.00km – Moderate up to well equipped. -It really shouldn’t be much more than 15k… I honestly have no idea at all, tend from my previous researchers but to nem Golf 2.0 TDI. en/Asian people are much more economical and/or more reliable, I would have to deal with it… Thank you very much! Your Buga

  • High-roof combo/ Minibus/ Van Camping suitable wanted !

Hello dear car friends! Unfortunately, I don’t even know about cars at all, my friend unfortunately just as little. Since we both still study but don’t want to do without regular holidays together, we had the idea to put a car in which we put a small bed / install/ whatever can and in which we also get enough luggage. We actually don’t know any more, we could spend a maximum of €6,000, but would also like to buy a car. After a short search at mobile.de we saw that Ford Transit Connect models already have 50,000 km down for 5,000€ and were already quite euphoric, but then we happened to read that this car was anything but robust. We didn’t hear much about the Opel Combo either, but a T5 that we hear is robust, costs at 120,000 km still 8,000€. Now I wanted to ask if anyone from eu ch maybe knows which car is particularly robust in the direction of transporter/minibus/high-roof combi. We know that on the way there is always something that can happen and you can’t predict it, but maybe there are models that are particularly “practical” for our purpose?! Or do you think that car with 120,000 km is also ok if it’s from VW or Mercedes? I’m sorry that my question is so largely, but I don’t know how else I could find out what suits us. U And since we both really only earn 400€ a month it would be very annoying if the car what we have saved for years would be a fall! I would be very happy about the answers!

  • Kombi wanted – Civic, i30, Auris TS?

Hello together, after a few months here already quiet co-reader, I now write my first post Since I am currently still driving an old Mercedes (C-Class, BJ98), I started to deal with possible successors already last year and now the time for replacement has come. The following conditions are given: Since I mostly drive short distance, a gasoline (manual gearbox, suction cup, no turbo) or hybrid is needed. It should also be a combination. Requirements regarding equipment are not too high (clear, have currently still a cassette deck ), but of course it would be nice to have some helpers, i.e. condition are climate, parking aid and cruise control. Xenon or LED headlights are not important to me or because expensive in replacement rather not seen, Navi is not needed either. In addition, the car has to be driven as long as possible (the Mercedes was recently 18 ) and reliable. in non-smoking vehicle. My price limit would be 15 tEUR, think this should be a car, which has up to four years on the hump. Of course, the successor is allowed to cost less, i.e. I prefer something about the 13tEUR. Current candidates are: – Honda Civic Tourer – Hyundai i30 Kombi – Toyota Auris Touring Sports The questions would be: did I forget about one or the other model when choosing? Is the Focus tournament also durable with regard to the engine or are the above mentioned in this respect better? For the tournament can be found clearly more in this price class… My thoughts about the above mentioned: Honda Civic is just so available for this price, but I would like to have the driving assistance package 1 with in it (dead angle warning, etc.) – however, this makes it difficult to find. I30: is probably available as an EU import new for this price. Meaningful or rather needed one of the others? Auris TS: as a hybrid probably difficult for this Price to get… I’ve seen the Auris live before, I’ll go to Honda and Hyundai in the next few days. Say, it’s important for me to find the right model (are there important reasons for or against one of the models?) and then I’d be grateful for specific purchase recommendations.

  • Used automatic cars, about 10 years old

Hello Community I might be buying a used one in the near future. Drive up to now only company wagon with automatic, and would like to continue to drive privately with automatic. The question now is which automatic transmissions are older year of construction without coarser problems to continue to use. I have already read here for example that the A6 is more vulnerable than the A6 allrad, which apparently has another technology. But I am not fixed now on a car brand, what I want is following it: BJ not older than 10 years, max €10.000,- automatic transmission, automatic climate control, hands-free device, MP3, trailer coupling, light sensor, rain sensor, cruise control Luxury would be: distance tempomat Here is a find: VW Passat
