I have to buy a Mercedes in the next few days. I only want to buy from a dealer and with the “Young Stars” warranty. Some models had a very attractive price and when I called I also knew why. On my own every dealer immediately pointed out that the vehicle had an accident damage, which (mostly) was directed in the own workshop. In addition they always gave me the price of the repair. Currently I have two driving times uge with identical equipment and almost identical mileage, both with repaired hail damage (the one about 1000 euros the other was over 5000 euros I think, so much higher). In the end it costs one vehicle almost 4000 euros less than the other. Now I am unsure, especially in case of repaired damage. Can it not be that something has been overlooked and I notice that only after a few weeks? How about the guarantee? Should I rather spend (clearly) more money uge with identical equipment and almost identical mileage. and buy an accident-free vehicle or can I just access something like a repaired hail damage? There should be no more than that now the paint layers are different thick, right?

Hello first of all I am 21 and trainee, which is why I am of course also looking for a car that is economical. My absolute pain limit is 3000€, but I would like to avoid it, unless it’s a car that I want to have… n for further suggestions What is important to me is an air conditioning system otherwise I don’t really have any special wishes about the equipment. Dear forum, after some consideration I decided a few weeks ago for the model A4 Avant as next car and started to look (Rhein-Main area). 2.0 TDI with 136 or 143 hp, BJ 09-11, 100 – 125 tkm and a few simple extras like seating and PDC. And important: Only 1 previous owner – that also limits a bit. In the meantime I mean to have identified the price range of approx. 16.000 – 17.500 EUR as the usual market level. of course, there are other extras. I’m also ready to spend. Everything ok. So far. A BMW fan is in my ears now, that there are comparable 318d (and perhaps also occasionally 320d) for 14,000 – 16,000 EUR and actually can be found quite easily such offers. What’s going on? What is this about? (2 children) (VW Passat / VW Golf Variant / O pel Astra Sports Tourer or similar) On the used car market you will find many TDI ́s for the money with a mileage of approx.100,000km! Plan a minimum useful life of 5 years! (so is KmStand des Cars (here: 100.000km + 200,000km driving performance) After long searches here and in the WWW I come now to the conclusion that it will probably be cheaper to buy a simple “saug” gasoline! Here fall into the closer selection of the VW Passat B5 / VW Golf V or VI with the 1.6 liter Ma or the Chevrolet Orlando with 1.8 liters cylinder capacity! Remuneration: + the resulting DPF change at approx. 150,000km + (due to numerous Treads) the threatening turbocharger damage at 200,000km + defective injectors + defective of the fuel pump etc. At a km power of up to 300,000km the probability is the minimum one of the above mentioned defects very likely! Or? It will be different to me! Where is the time of the durable diesel engines! That seems to me the High Tech Diesel ( CR) only to be lucrative as a new or leasing car! What do you think about it? My father and I have been discussing for a month now what kind of car it should be. He thinks of BMW (since he has been driving exclusively BMW and he has been working there for more than 30 years -> discount on repairs), I think of Merc edes. But I don’t want to make my car dependent on the discount. He suggested me a 525i BJ 08, I have each picked out a C 350 BJ 10 and E 350 BJ 10. I know that these are completely different vehicles. Unfortunately, we both have different ideas My annual mileage is about 9,000 to 10,000 kilometers. Dear users, since I started my new job, I need a car. I will drive a total of 70 km (35 km x 2) every day from the city of Munich to Munich airport. I would like to discover the beautiful surrounding area of Bavaria on weekends. I will NOT use the car in the city. My employer gives me 0.09 cents/km, so a “quasi” economical car would be good. Therefore, SUVs or old luxury cars are excluded. I am thinking about whether I am looking for a car. BMW 1er should/can buy, or a comparatively cheaper small car. I find BMW pretty from the design, whereby I am not sure to invest so much money for my first car. Hello, I’m about to buy a car out of the stock exchange, which is 400 km away. It’s Premium Selection. The salesman had assured me that the car had neither scratches nor rockfalls (here in the forum I had read that stonefalls would be tolerated at Premium Selection). My understanding is, should the car still be missing something beyond the “usual wear” then I can have it repaired at my local workshop? It still has 10 months factory garantie e and then 1 year new car connection guarantee. Who has experience here? Or can the purchase at a distant BMW contract dealer also really go in the pants?
