Hello! I got a good offer from a VW dealer for a Polo GTI (approx. 2.000€/10% below market price). The hook: He had an accident, he could show me the invoice positions: -front bumper new -coating wing v.l. new -lightlighter left new -track set -driver door painted I am now uncertain if he could not have got what on the frame. If only sheet metal/plastic is I find the whole half as wild… But track was also set. he could not tell me. He means about 4-5000€. salesman is a VW car dealership, the reperature was carried out perfectly also at VW, all gap dimensions are perfect and you can’t see anything externally. What do you think is the vehicle available for purchase? or is the damage too great for you?

Replacement for Volvo C30 – what is comparable?
Since I live in a city that will probably be the first to be affected by a diesel ban, I look around for a replacement for the C30 diesel, which is used as a commuter car. Is now 7 years old and has 200,000 on it, would certainly still be good for 100K, but well. It’s as it is. Anyway, I’m looking for a car, not a small car, preferably 3 doors, coupe or coupe-like, gasoline, 140+ hp. Price is not so important (if I have to set a limit, then let’s say 20K f for three-year-olds), it should be comfortable in the front (no one is sitting behind or can suffer for half an hour), but be sporty, not a “normal” hatchback, good equipment. The exclusion criterion is VW or Audi; my wife does not want it. Otherwise, everything is brand-like. I haven’t had a look at the market in the class for a long time and would be happy about suggestions, since I don’t really think of anything that would fit there except the 1-year-old BMW.

Small car for little driver
Since my girlfriend’s 15-year-old Peugeot 206 died spontaneously of transmission failure yesterday, I have to replace him. I’ve already got a small overview, but hope that you might still have the one or the other tip. ?? This is what the requirements look like. Budget: 5000 € Age: we thought about maximum 2013/12 kilometers: we thought about 70,000 km maximum performance: no matter route profile: mostly short distance, rarely longer journeys, maximum 7,000 km i m year Seats: no two-seater Doors: no matter Other equipment: no matter (climate/seat heating would be a huge plus, but I think rather utopian) So far we have seen (incl. their evaluation): Ford Ka – you can imagine Citroen C1 – from the outside quite chic, but inside he falls out Renault Twingo – goes like this, interior is questionable, but ok Chevrolet Spark – likes her very well Seat Mii / Skoda Citigo – ok VW up – previous favorite, but in the surroundings unfortunately a little scarce Have he or are there currently any promotions/premises? I am grateful for any help ?? Greetings

Buying contests
Hello I have a question and it would have been a problem for one already 6 weeks ago I had my brakes changed in the car dealership and where I paid a salesman came to me and asked if a 5 doorr would not be better for me because I only lead a 3 doorr and with child was stupid I said yes would be better and he offers me one to I wanted to have still to think about time because I didn’t have so much money then 2 weeks later I wanted to listen more carefully what the m i can offer everything and there he wanted mine for the red because he made me aware that there were cracks in my compartment and suspects that there was a hail damage and that the previous owner only repainted and spat was I told him that all the windows were renewed and the roof was repainted he wanted but nevertheless mine offered me 6000 for mine that I only have to pay on 3800 euros I agreed and changed the car ever he has me called and said that the roof is completely fucked up and completely a new one has to be on it therefore he wants to challenge the purchase contract or I pay 3000 so that the car corresponds to the value again because my car is not because of that 6000 value but I can not see under the paint as loan and knew that also he can not challenge the contract although he knew that the roof had scratches? Because I want to pay .net I know yes .net if he fucks me because he when buying contract k a flaw has written though I have told him everything ps. I drove my old car only 1 year I hope you have an answer

Project car 400+ PS
Hello my dear car freaks and interested, I am driving a Hyundai Coupe or also Tuscani Coupe 2.0 GLS, but I would also like to have a car with a little more “power”. So I thought that I would buy a cheap car, which has a lot of potential to bring it up and make everyone work on the car myself and thus expand my knowledge and can improve on the restoration & tuning of a car. My question now is: Can you do it yourself? I recommend a car that meets the requirements above? The car itself should cost up to 2000€ and as far as my budget for the upcoming work is concerned, that doesn’t matter at first. (but shouldn’t be a super rare car for which you can hardly get parts…) I have already researched a little and have come across at the moment on 2 cars that would probably be in question: a VW Golf 3 VR6 and an Audi S3. The nice thing about the car are that they are cheap in the purchase and you are right Would be nice to hear a few experts here. I’m always open for tips, but please don’t forget posts or anything like that, that brings me nothing With kind greeting, Jasper PS: Why not tune my coupe? Quite simply, I need a car to drive and if I’m building shit, that’s also the coupe not exactly beginner friendly to tune (yes, I’ve already informed myself).

3L V6 – When is an engine too big for my needs?
Hello together, dear car friends. I’m about to buy a new car and I’m just asking myself a question: When is an engine oversized for my needs? Do I hurt bigger engines by “short distance driving”? And how does this affect fuel consumption? My heart beats at the star. I’m currently looking at an old C-Class (the “rust-free years of construction” *huts* almost). The car itself is perfect for me. Equipment, color, mileage, checkbook, pre Is it all Takko. Only the engine makes me manage. C280 – (M272 E30) – 3L V6 – 231 hp is possibly a bit big? My work path is about 15 KM in one direction and my annual running performance will thus settle at 15000-17000 KM. For fuel more I am quite willing to pay, because my Golf IV, with the 4-speed automatic transmission (badest choice of my life!!!) is like a big one. Does the engine what if the always only 15 KM drives and then stands for 8 hours? Bzw correct r: Does that make more sense to him than a 4-cylinder suction cup? I have a heavy foot (because the way back is mostly unlimited) driving my car but meticulously warm. I hope you can give me information there / advise me what makes sense. – Jockel

Most reliable car up to EUR 9000
Moin, I’m looking for a new used car at the moment. Since I don’t want to be in the workshop all the time and I’m absolutely dependent on the car here in the country, reliability is a top priority for me. I’m aware that every car is in the workshop at some point, but I want to minimize the probability that I’m a permanent guest there by choosing a solid model as possible. So far I haven’t left a car with less than 250,000 km, so I’m looking for a solid cross-country skier, with which I can still drive for a few years. Furthermore, every free workshop should get along with the model well, so not too exotic. I drive about 28,000 km a year, mostly rural road and highway. I do not lay down on a certain class. Everything from small cars with 4m length should be ok, gladly bigger. Actually, a diesel would make sense from consumption, however, one often hears that modern diesel are quite susceptible to expensive repairs The budget is about 8000-9000 EUR. Which brands and models would you recommend to me?

My first car: Small and reliable?
Hello MotorTalker and thank you very much for your answers. I am now 30 years old and have finally caught up with my driver’s license. Now, of course, the first car I’m looking for in the small car segment for insurance and maintenance costs. My budget is about € 8.000. My driving profile: – During the week only short distances from and to work (about 10 km of city traffic per trip). – Weekends also sometimes longer distance highway and highway. – Approximately 1x a month long distance from 500km back and forth – Overall I leave from 20-25k a yearMy selection: I thought of small cars like the Skoda Fabia, Opel Corsa or Mitsubishi Space Star (important here are also 5 doors). Low performance I see as less critical, since I am really no lead foot and am completely satisfied with 130 on the highway. Examples:Skoda FabiaMitsubishi Space StarOpel Corsa As an alternative I also found an A3, which probably costs so 40euro more in the insurance, but a Audi A3 conclusion: Overall, it is important to me that the car is running reliably and that I get rid of it after just under 4 years at a decent price. Therefore, I first concentrated on cars with low KM. The Audi is an exception which of course also smiles at me. However, at 8 years he has run significantly older than the alternatives and also significantly more. Well, if there is still more information please follow harken, is my first car purchase and I am grateful for every tip! LG

No time to buy a car?
Not quite the right subforum, but I didn’t find a more suitable one. My car (Volvo S60 T5) is quite at the end, more than 210tsd kilometers on the clock, 12 years old, Tüv expired last month and besides some not Tüv Relevant but annoying defects, I would probably need new shock absorbers, new brakes, new Simmering. Also the ABS is out daily and the tires are now also at the end. I still have the first turbo, which does not cause any problems. In short i ch don’t think that it pays to put in so much money again, because it would probably be at least 3,000€. Now I’ve been looking for a while, unfortunately it always fails because of the time to look at a vehicle and especially to have it checked out at the well-known places (Tüv, Dekra). During the week I leave the house at half past 7 and am usually not back before 8 pm, this is on the one hand a lot of work and on the other hand I have 50km easy to drive, which is why I already daily 2- 3 hours in the car. So actually only Saturday is left, but if I am not sitting in the office, I also have the problem that none of the test sites is open or a check without an appointment, which has to be done again 1-2 weeks before. Unfortunately I have too little idea myself to be able to assess a vehicle. I have tried it now with some vehicles, but had always bad luck, sometimes I called Mondays and made an appointment on Saturdays ht, unfortunately, the advertisement was then deleted Wednesdays and on request I was informed that the vehicle is already sold. Now I had an appointment with a flag dealer next week, reserved for the week especially next week on Saturdays an appointment with the Tüv, now I see this morning in mobile already again “This vehicle is no longer available” … Are you all so flexible easy to see several vehicles during the week or you buy all e only with dealers of trust where you don’t need a check?

First car with good price-performance ratio in NRW
Hello, I have had my driver’s license for more than ten years now without my own car and always drove the car from my siblings or parents if necessary. In the meantime, the dependent mobility is very annoying, which is why I want to buy my own car soon. Unfortunately I have hardly any idea about the current car market and would be happy about some suggestions. Maybe you know a few offers with good price-performance ratio from the Ruhr area. My demands are not high, except that it should be a low-maintenance, inconspicuous and inexpensive vehicle in maintenance. – The price frame is at the most 3000€ – compact / small car (with the offers that I have looked at, especially the Ford Fiesta was positive, but for other brands/models I am completely open) – Equally urban and motorway traffic – Cheap insurance costs – Expected travel of approximately 12-14000 km Thank you for reading.
