  • Golf VI Variant Tdi Automatic or Mercedes C 200 CDI Automatic (204)

Hi, I want to get a used one and fluctuate between these two models. Both would have about 100,000 km down. In golf I wanted to actually use the 1.6 TDI but there is supposed to be the automatic (that’s what?). That’s why it would be with the golf of the 2.0 TDI with the 6-speed automatic. In the Benz I would take a model with the 5-speed automatic because it should be quite mature. The Benz would be about 2010, the golf about Bj 2011. Of course the Benz b The golf would be about 12-13,000 €, the Benz at 16-17,000 € (each bought directly from the manufacturer). Which one should I take? Is the extra price of the Benz worth, especially in terms of reliability from 100,000 km? Would the car finance over 4 years and really have no idea that I would have to pay additional workshop costs at the same time.

  • Cheap and reliable car up to 800-1000€

Hey ho, since I am currently looking for a reliable and cheap car because of my job, I wanted to hear a few comments here. So far I have always driven VW (each Golf 2 and Golf 3, is already something) and found the quite reliable, manco: insurance, fuel consumption and taxes. However, as I soon first start working and have some money available I did not necessarily want to buy a VW directly again, because I think I will only go to work for the car n. What’s it look like on the car market at the moment? What would you recommend to me? It is important to me that it is relatively cheap and reliable. Thanks already MfG // EDIT: Have just looked around and find the Rover 200 214 pretty chic and also seem relatively cheap – has an experience with Rover and can say what about it?

  • Youngtimer up to 1000€

Hello dear car friends! I have been well advised by you two times and need your support again. Through your advice I have a very solid and beautiful everyday car and also one for the winter (have kept my old Toyota as a winter car ) I am looking for a nice youngtimer for weekend exits. Budget: 7000 – 10000 € Driving performance: maximum 5000km per year (car is in the garage and is registered with an alternate number) is only on weekends in fine weather in summer / spring / autumn driven NO WINTER FURNITURE! I would like to ask you to write no silly sayings or other “reason contributions”. I want to afford this luxury, for that I do not go on the slopes, smoke or go golf. Requirements: Luxury class (Audi A8 /S8 / Mercedes S class (SE/SEL) / BMW 7er ) Engine: in this class anyway, there is nothing under 200 hp from which I am open to everything. The car should not go to the lawn or for I think of vehicles in this category:1993 Mercedes S500 Why do I want such a vehicle? I find it visually appealing, I don’t need the latest technology (tracking assistant or other garbage). It may be a matter of taste if you like these cars and if you are prepared to do so, of course, such a sum for an “old” car. I have decided to take this step. I hope to respond to many.

  • Negotiating margin at the dealer

Hello together, I’m just looking for a car and I’ve also found one that I like. It’s at a dealer and the days I’m going to stop by for the test drive. Now the Seat Ibiza is available for 13,99€, it’s a new car. Now as a woman I don’t have a lot of idea of cars – which is why it should be a new car – and ask myself how much the price is still negotiable. I would like to have winter tyres, for example, and it will be I’d like to hear about a connection guarantee after the 2 year manufacturer’s warranty in the description text. As I have no idea, as already mentioned, I would be interested in the experience values. Some of my friends said that it’s not bad if I go there alone as a woman. I see this differently and don’t want to be dragged over the table at a dealer’s… Do you have any tips? LG

  • Car purchase online – everything from a single source

Hello everyone, I’m currently dealing with buying a car for the first time and I have to say that the topic is already overburdening me. Which car is suitable for my requirements, which parameters I have to pay attention to when buying, which insurance is best for me, how should I finance the car…..etc. In order to finally estimate the monthly costs sufficiently accurately and at the same time also the most favourable conditions for insurance, financing etc. out I have a bit of a spin now: Wouldn’t it be super helpful to have a platform such as Mobile.de, through which all these time-consuming activities are handled from one source. From initial advice to contract conclusion to registration or re-registration of the vehicle. It would only be enough to provide its data once on the platform, instead of at any provider such as insurance, credit institution or comparison individual? At the end of the day, you could simplify the entire process of car purchase with everything that is included in it. What do you think about it? Would that be something that would appeal to you if it worked? I’m looking forward to your opinions.

  • Trailer purchase Westfalia 1972 Purchase+renovation

Good day, I need help in buying and estimating the renovation costs of a trailer (PKW) Today I spotted a Westfalia trailer and could get it for 2 boxes of beer.Year 1972, German papers, no tuv, standing for 3 years outdoors, length 2,20 m, height 1,30 m, width 1,30 m, total weight 1200 kg, with tarpaulin construction, tarpaulin is intact without holes bode plate screen printing and exterior walls should be made new. (Siebrduck plates approx. 250 EUR) Brakes should also be made (approx. 50 EUR) The frame is rusty, here we would have to do welding work. (approx. 100 EUR) Right turn signaler/light holder would have to be renewed (approx. 50 EUR) I could not check electrics (???EUR) This would be intended as a possible winter project. Renovation costs around 400-450 EUR. Would that be a possible purchase, or would you advise here due to too high costs? Are the costs realistic, or too expensive Thanks for your help.

  • Resignation from the purchase contract, when is this possible?

Hello, I am not sure if the topic fits into this subforum, if not please move! I have already used the search function but in my case not received a suitable answer. Now to my request: I decided last Thursday for a car which I discovered online on mobile.de at a Ford dealer. After a short telephone call and clarification of the modalities I promised the seller to buy the car by phone. He then sent me an e-mail. rmular sent with the heading “Compulsory order of a used motor vehicle” . I filled it out, signed it and sent it back by e-mail. In addition, I transferred the total amount of the purchase price on the same day. In the order which the seller sent to me, it is stated in the appendix under the conditions: “The buyer is bound to the order for a maximum of 10 days. The purchase contract is concluded when the seller accepts the order of the purchased vehicle. The car should be delivered to me the next week, because I do not pick up the car myself. Since the vehicle is almost 500 km away. Before delivery the car dealership wanted to carry out a new TÜV and inspection. Since I found a clearly more attractive offer yesterday, I would like to ask if it is already too late to withdraw from the contract or which one. Costs would come to me. Would I be very happy about an answer! Greetings

  • Experience with purchase companions

Hello, the SFU has unfortunately not promoted anything useful to day, just as little as an Internet search (Aunt Google). Unfortunately I do not understand enough of cars to make a real evaluation. I can make sure whether the clutch is “closing” whether the car holds the track, whether it moves during braking and whether it has rust or loses liquid. Of course only with the eye of a layman. I took the workshop of my trust and the TÜV once, both had easy byeina In addition, the result was “The car is fine”, but unfortunately no clear statement as to whether I should take the car or not. In my friend and acquaintance there is unfortunately no one (of whom I know) who knows about cars and could support me. Therefore, I am considering whether I should attract one of the (many) official purchase companions. But I have no experience. I’ll try my luck again on eBay Classifieds, which helped me buy a car for my wife. Thank you in advance, Edward, but I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to buy a car for my wife.

  • How dubious can a dealer act?

Hello, I am quite inexperienced, but I have read in everything. Would like to buy my second own car and have a Renault Megane (101 hp, BJ 2011, 60,000 km) in view. The price is cheap (4000 €), but it also has a few scars in front and back and a hail damage. On the pictures everything looks half as wild. I have read in all checklists, what I have to pay attention to etc. It does offer a dealer who is 50 km away. I just don’t like the way This is why I would have to leave work earlier (because of the dealer’s opening hours) and, on the other hand, I would not like to drive 100 km unnecessarily. Now I have learned two things from the dealer (after pressing questions) that the car is sold on order and therefore the liability for material defects is excluded and on the other hand the dealer says that he cannot tell me what the car looks like from below (asked for rust) because he has no lifting platform. Since I don’t have any experience, I can’t figure out whether it’s normal or more often, or if it’s a very clear sign that I should leave my fingers out. In the ad there’s a staple, etc., but if that’s true. What do you think?

  • Low budget…

Hi, I’ve been looking for over a month but it’s pretty frustrating with a budget of 1000 € It looks like only scrap on the market for this little money. Rust on wheels, once you narrowed down the search to 3 previous owners almost nothing left Hab actually no bad experiences, my first car was a Corsa of ’97 that I bought from my neighbor, was also a super car for 500 € only the 45ps have disturbed me, at the end he ended up but self-inflicted At the scrap yard. Only now that I am dependent on mobile and autoscout I somehow have to catch a guck. Which is certainly a high number of cars in the price range. What would you recommend with this budget? Would you like a nice old Golf 2 without any frills, but probably thanks to export I find none at all. I have no claims as far as extras except 75ps, 5-6 months tuv, from small cars to limousine, and that I in the time of A na I can assure on my father, consumption also not really interested me. Most 1k cars are logged out and one has increased risk because no test drive. Mostly Ford Fiestas are offered from ’98, ’99 what do you think of these cars? So what here: http://suchen.mobile.de/…/173475231.html , http://suchen.mobile.de/…/165075461.html Opel Astra is actually also solid? Most positive but one hears from models after ’96 how it looks with the older ones from?http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?… Between the Astra and the fiestas is surely a big difference in insurance? Actually, the thread is unnecessary, drive and look, but if someone still has some advice with it
