  • Used Jaguar with repaired accident damage

Hello, I play with the idea to buy a used Jaguar XE. Is a small commercial dealer, probably with Polish roots. The car is 2 years old and still has 1 year warranty with inspection. FIN I have, as far as everything is concerned. The car stands 500 km away from me, therefore I do not want to go there for nothing. The offer price is strikingly cheap, slightly under Schwacke purchase price. Now the buyer informed me that there has probably been a pre-damage, first he downplayed it e twas but now he gave to that probably with the rear axle on the highway over an object was driven. 1 transverse handlebar replaced. Door and side part painted. Damage height with 2000 euros. Would buy the car already, but have such a bad feeling with the accident damage and then still such a small forest and meadow dealer. What can happen to me. Lg

  • Car for job searched for study

Servus together, I’m going to take a job starting in October this year that includes a daily work journey of about 80-90km. That’s why I’m now looking for a car, before and during my study period I could use my parents’ cars (VW-Polo/Audi A4) for the new job but I need something of my own. I don’t really know what possibilities I have, as I’m 1. relatively young (21) and 2. I don’t know if I’m going to have another master (After a few years of studying, I don’t know if I have a master’s degree). At the moment I have ~10,000€ for a car available. Now to my considerations regarding the car: My wish would be a sporty, compact car, e.g. something towards the new polo. Renault/Peugeot may offer a good P/L ratio but the haptic while driving and the service does not agree. Considerations regarding the financing: 1. Leasing a car over ~2 years and during this time decide how it goes on (Master etc.) 2. The car f Incentive, with appropriate down payment and also after the financing period or during the term decide how to proceed. Thank you already in advance.

  • Room wonder up to 30t€

Hello, I’m beginning to despair. Somehow there doesn’t seem to be a new car for me, but I hope you’ll teach me a better one! Basically, it should be a new car, with nothing against day registrations. Optimal would be around 25t €, but up to 30t € would be ok if it is the right car. However, it should be noted that the prices refer to Austrian prices! In question come both Kombi, Mini-Van as well as SUV, whereby Kobi and SUV have the advantage. Gasoline ranges v The car has to have: What I don’t need: I don’t really care about the brand, it should be nothing of the VW group, which I exclude. Otherwise open to everything! Whether Asian, European or American! Appearance is secondary, but doesn’t have to be so ugly now. A more modern/weather design can be quiet. I’ve already looked at them: probably were a few more ! I’m not ready to give up yet, but if there’s really nothing more suitable, I’ll probably have to make cuts and most of the times that’s the transferable passenger seat. I can’t understand why this is such a problem and unfortunately it’s quite important to me, because I often transport longer things, where that would be very practical and with one reason for the new purchase. Even if that certainly restricts the circle of suspects very much, I would be for everyone Tip grateful! Especially with regard to models that might be released in 2018 it might be worth waiting for. I’m not in a hurry, but I would like to have the new car with me in spring 2019. Sorry that this has become a little longer now! mfg Andreas

  • Search car for two dogs

Hi, I’ve been driving a Renault Megane GT 220 Grand Tour since 2013. I’m actually very happy with the car, but it could be a little bigger for our Golden Retrievers.I now had the Talisman in my sights but the reports about the Talisman are unfortunately not the best.Which vehicles would be recommended? The trunk should be big enough for two Golden Retrievers and the loading edge should not be too high. The car should nevertheless make something visually, so no Kangoo,Ber Lingo etc.Priced he should cost after deduction of discount around 3000€

  • New car purchase Euro 6 is not equal to Euro 6???

Hello experts, please someone can help me with the following question on the jumps . Purely factually would be helpful, without evaluation (e.g. stupid mirror article etc. it is not about the article In the following article is a diagram (source Umweltbundesamt, Kraftfahrtbundesamt) It can be seen there that Euro 6 has a NOx limit of 80mg/KM.http://www.spiegel.de/…/…-neue-diesel-sinnvoll-sinn-a-1196019.html On the VW website are currently still available e.g. VW Tiguan as well as letztedl I sold all VWs (except the UP) with Euro 6w and have e.g. at the Tiguan in the details the following info: …. Emission classEURO 6 W further emission values Nitrogen oxides (NOx) Fuel I: 47.3 mg/km Particle emission Fuel I: 0.0400 mg/km Non-methane hydrocarbons (NMHC) I: – …. Is the nitrogen values NOx on the safe side? What remains unclear, however, whether one will get problems with a car of the Euro 6w standard instead of the newer standard 6d in the inner cities . Where is Euro 6w to be classified, this is about Euro 6b (see page 7 in the PDF below). And according to Kraftfahrtbundesamt, these cars can only be registered until 31.08.2018. So if you order a car now and only allow it in Sept. 2018, this would not be possible. See info from Kraftfahrtbundesamt:http://www.kba.de/…/sv1_007_announcement_pdf.pdf?… Greeting D. K.

  • Combi with ‘bite bums

Hello dear people, at the moment drive an E36 316i BJ ’95. I became a dad 5 weeks ago and well, the trunk is very small, the back seat is not foldable, since it is already narrow back when the stroller comes into the trunk. Since my good Bimmer has to the TÜV, we have thought that it is now time for what new. Another child is planned in 2-3 years, so we have decided for a combo. Since the 316i is rather so category walking dune and every overtaking process on the BAB for thrills, the new one should be a bit more motorized. Vmax is whirling, does not drive faster than 200, but should speed it up a bit faster than my current one. Here are the following parameters:Brand: no matterBJ: no matterConsumption:No matter, with the current in the city certainly have 12L, worse can hardly become gasoline (do not drive sooo much in the week and then rather city, 2x in the year to the Baltic Sea (200km) and once to the south (500km), plus smaller excursions on weekends (~10-50km))circuit: no matterFeatures: My better half is afraid of the length of a combo, so PDC would be nice at the back. Otherwise quite undemanding. Vllt. still Xenon, since our current light bulbs are very weak at seaBudget: ~8000€, If there is a clear difference in quality for 2-3k more, even up to 10-11k.Running performance: doesn’t matter, as long as it has been stocked and “good” stands there. S? Mazda 5? I’m poorly informed about cars and, above all, combos. So I’d be happy if a few model suggestions came from you 🙂 I wish you a nice weekend!

  • Car for little drivers (motorway, country roads) under 10k €

Hello to the forum community! I am looking for a used car (in Eastern Austria) which is to cost less than 10 000€ and is only used on weekends for excursions and large purchases. Once a month it goes 300 km to the family and 1-2 times a year also a holiday with 2000-3000km should be possible. Route profile therefore 80% highway, 10% country road, 10% city. Overall probably less than 10k km/year. Currently I bought a Kia Cee’d SW (used half a year ago) and my problem with this is the 5-speed transmission and the lack of cruise control. The engine is quite loud at 130 kmh on the highway and swallows 8.5 liters of petrol – so not particularly comfortable and economical with longer trips. The purchase was necessary at the time, but had a good deal and do not expect with too much money loss when selling again. Now I would rather have something more comfortable to drive (Tempomat, 6 gears or CVT?) and ideally less fuel at highway speed I have absolutely no brand preferences, but a preference for combinations or SUVs. It is important that 4 adults in the car definitely have good space. That is also the reason why the previous favorite (Honda Insight) has left – apparently only space for <175cm people on the back bench. So again hard facts: < 10 000 km/year, especially highway and long distance < 10 000 € < 125 HP space for 4 adults

  • Camaro SS V8 / CLS 63 AMG / S6 / A8

Hello all, I’m looking for a 2nd vehicle with more steam. I stand between the following vehicles: 1. Chevrolet Camaro SS V8 407 PS Bj ca. 2010-2015 2. Mercedes CLS 63 AMG 514 PS Bj 2008 3. Audi S6 5.2 FSI 435 PS Bj 2008 4. Audi A8 4.2 FSI 371 PS Bj 2010 My budget is about 25,000€. Important for me would be that the car remains value constant. Driving time of the car about 3 years… Driving performance is about 5,000km / year With the AMG and the Camaro I don’t know myself so much about I’ve heard a lot of negatives about the Audi S6 and the A8 because of the FSI engines. Can you help me decide? Which engine do I have least problems with? Which car loses least value? Would I be happy to receive answers!

  • All-wheel + as comfortable and quiet as possible? Which brand / model?

In the next few months a new used car purchase is due. The budget is about 20,000 euros. All-wheel drive is mandatory. Kombi, Limousine, SUV is everything in the selection. It is important to me a quiet interior noise and comfort! At the moment I drive a 5 Golf 4Motion. In itself a good car, but on the AB for my taste by now simply too loud. I wish for a quieter engine, better insulation / suspension etc. These points are most important to me next to the four-wheel drive! I assume that SUVs are always louder than comparable limousines/combs? So, for example, would a 3 car be more suitable than an X3? What would be the most comfortable/lowest solution? Passat/3er/C-Class or similar with all-wheel drive? Are there any tests, which car is the quietest in the interior, for example? Thanks for the information.

  • Seat Leon with 50T km – suitable for the next 10+ years?

Hello, I have a very specific question this time. If you had the opportunity to get a Seat Leon 1.8 TSI DSG Sport for 9,000 EUR. Well-kept retired garage car, 8 compartment tyres, 160hp, automatic, gasoline, first registration at the end of 2009, saloon 5 doorr, 50,000km. Preferably I am looking for a car for the next years to work. Daily 2x40km, occasionally home office. Makes me about 15,000 km a year. About 60% highway. Often also short distances to the gym, shopping n etc. Otherwise will stand consistently in the garage. Let’s assume that I keep my job, I am in 10 years at about 200,000 km with the car. Theoretically. How long does such a Leon last with good care and reasonable driving mode? Is this probably over after 10 years? Or can it also make even more 5+ years? I think about it because you already get good compact Dacia annual car for about 10,000 EUR. Such a one would then be after 2-3 years but then also I don’t know if the parts are as robust as the seats or have similar running performance. But must be 5 doors with automatic. Therefore, the question is whether it is worth looking for another compact one, which has run for example only 10-15T km. But probably then could also be 2-3T EUR more expensive. Or invest in a new Dacia Sandero, which is already available for about 10T EUR? Or hit the Seat Leon? Thanks for your Meinun G!
