  • Change from Passat CC to sporty small cars

Hello community, first post I hope to note all the important basics. Question is probably rather untypical. I started last July with a new employer, which brought with it a daily journey of 65 km. 40 KM BAB and 25 country road. As a result, I bought a VW Passat CC with diesel engine in January. Plan was to buy a little bit in the direction of Seat Leon Cupra R or Mazda 3 MPS, but then around the 130 km per day only for the work path a Now I have decided to move to my place of work and now have a work path of 4 km. I am now thinking about selling the CC and getting a sporty compact. Racetrack usage is not planned. It is important to me that it is well processed, developed enough drive, is reliable and can handle some fast curves even on rural roads The Passat CC is year 2009. Has currently 91000 km down and has the 2 liter diesel with 140 Ps and DSG. Has a good equipment. It lacks leather, the panoramic roof and the cruise control. Otherwise there should be everything in it. I prefer a “exchange” or a max. surcharge of 2000-4000 Euro. Do you think I get something reasonable about the mentioned cars at the price? Does it make sense to give away CC. Work in a larger city and unfortunately have no parking space at work, so look for every tomorrow desperately a parking gap. Consumption would not matter. Thank you in advance for your opinions!

  • Search used cars up to 5,000€

Hello dear, I, 22-year-old dual student, are looking for a used car up to 5,000€. Below are some important data that should influence the purchase recommendations: – current car: Ford Ka 1998er (60 hp) – driving performance: approx. 12,000km per year (75% motorway) Search criteria: – price up to 5,000€ – mileage max. 125,000 km – first registration approx.2002 – at least 105 hp, so that 160 km/h can be comfortably driven – safe driving at Wind&Weather (at Ford Ka a “feeled” chaos!) -> Combi, Limousine?? – low maintenance costs -> Brand doesn’t matter! – Summer and winter tires would be optimal I have no insight into the used car trade, so I can’t distinguish bargains from price whores. That’s why I turn to EUCH. The specifications are not carved in stone. I’m grateful for every tip! As the only request I would have had, that you don’t list cars indiscriminately, but founded recommendations so that I can understand the recommendations as laymen. Schl you don’t have 5,000 € bundles lying on the table ….

  • Need new car and your advice! Brand, financing etc

Hello, I am “stolze” owner of a Seat Arosa Bj: 2001 with about 90,000km, but unfortunately I don’t know much about cars… I only bought the car for a little over a year and at that time with 76,000km for 2700Euro from the dealer. Now in the near future I need a bigger car for my profession, something like Caddy, Kangoo, Berlingo etc. My Arosa has caused me over 500euro repair costs in the last months and unfortunately also a stone blow in the front window. Since Nov 12 used more petrol than it should, for this an exhaust gas probe was replaced and it went again but since Jan 13 it is back again. I know now certainly that my car is not worth 2700euro anymore. But would I be happy if you could give me an idea how much it is still worth as a private sale? Or if I should give it in payment? From the new car I expect hardly any repair costs for the first years and as said quite a lot of space in the rear area. ken you can recommend here? And what are the advantages and disadvantages of the same. I hope not to spend more than €7000 and make my old one a little bit more money. I want to do something from 2007 or newer with a max of 100,000km. Is that realistic? Besides, what is better private purchase or dealer? As I said, I know only very little about cars. Thank you very much in advance and if you need more information, get in touch! lg peppers180

  • Search older car for it with “all” in it.

Hello guys, I’ll give you a few facts what the car should have what I’m looking for: Basics: Max up to 600€ No older year than 1998 No more than 150,000 kilometers running performance Also with less than 19L consumption Equipment: I’m looking for a car that pushes well, really well thought of 200-300 ps (clearly more is always possible) A good interior equipment has (leather, seatness, parking aid, if Xeon & sports seats) Radio/music equipment does not have to be when it’s in it. The Mercedes S 500, Jaguar, Audi A8/S8, BMW 7er and the VW Passat (around BJ 2000) are cars, and the Mercedes S 500, Jaguar, Audi A8/S8, BMW 7er and the VW Passat (around BJ 2000) are cars. I’m looking at the car and I’m looking at the car and I’m looking at the car and I’m looking at the car. I like all of them relatively well, because they are always with full equipment and have good horses. But I find them a little bit to Buisness Style, but the S8 is both sporty and Buisness, I like sports cars like: Ford Mustang , Camaro & Nissan Skyline If you need more information just ask, thank you so much!!! Ps: Would be good if the car is not all too expensive in the insurance

  • Golf V PLUS or Ford C-Max

Hello, I am about to decide to purchase either a Golf V PLUS or a Ford C-Max. Year of construction should be from 2008 – few kilometers run. Power: petrol (because mostly short distance) – with 100-120 hp. Overall with good to very good equipment. I always read that the C-Max is more spacious, more variable and wider inside. It looks probably also a bit more dynamic. Then I read again and again that it often causes problems or problems. The Golf V PLU S is more conservative in the design and I read that it is more valuable and has significantly better seats. In addition, the better and more valuable and clearer dashboard. In short: Which is the better car – Golf V PLUS or C-Max? Regarding quality of workmanship, the body and the electrics and electronics. Not to forget, who has the better machine and which should be taken? A VW salesman advised me at the PLUS to the 1.6 liter engine with 102 hp. He said, this is by far the best VW engine in this segment. Thank you for tips and opinions.

  • Buying advice -> Car with power -> Juniors!

Hi Mens, currently driving a BMW 125i Coupe. A very horny car. Especially the 3.0 liter in-line six-cylinder is really fun. The sound is a dream….. Enough swarmed *hust* We get offspring Now the following question arises for me: What do I do for car technology? Actually, I thought that a small Knirps in the 1er Coupe certainly has space. The trunk is nice deep and the back bench folds to the emergency. (because of foldable prams). So 1-2 years should the Coupe Since I have absolutely no desire for a van or a Pampers combi, I would alternatively switch to a 4/5 door. Here it is very important to me that the Kist POWER has (>250 hp). As a maximum budget would be 30 TEUR. Here are my alternatives: – Audi S3 Sportback – Mazda 3 MPS – VW Golf 6 GTI Edition 35 / possibly even Golf R – Seat Leon R – BMW M135i (here I would have to finance a part) What do you think?

  • Used cars up to 3000€ for beginners

Hello dear people, I’m driving my driver’s license and I’m going to buy a car (I can smell the freedom when I’m thinking about driving my own car). I don’t want to or can’t spend more than 3000 euros. Now an acquaintance has recommended me either to look for an Opel or a Peugeot (206). I live in a big city (Vienna), so I’m going to drive there mainly. I also want to take the car on vacation (including holidays). I think I’m going to drive, drive, drive as much as possible. That’s why the car should consume as little as possible (so most likely a diesel?) It will be in the underground garage with me if that’s any decisive factor when buying a car. I will also mostly drive the car alone, have no children or dogs, so the smaller the better (as long as it’s not a cube car) I try to list what’s important to me. : – Cost-effective consumption – Removable rear bench (also wants to be able to transport things again and again, e.g.Ikea) – optics (Peugeot would be nice, Opel would be less…) I really have no idea about cars, so the simpler your answers are written the better! lg from Vienna, Daniel

  • Reliable car that can also overtake up to 11,000,-

Hello, I am looking for an inexpensive reliable car without much repairs – with pleasant acceleration – maximum 11,000 € as used car or 15,000 € new – sports seats, medium to good equipment – small car or middle class saloon – 5-door would be nice. – Drive about 7,500 km a year, mainly rural road and highway, but the consumption should be already under 8.5 liters. I have been driving diesel almost always and therefore with the acceleration in the low I would like to have a car with which I do not have the fear sweat on my forehead when overtaking the road or on the acceleration strip, because the speedometer needle does not move even though I have switched down a gear. I don’t care about the top speed anyway, I drive at least 140-150 km/h. I have in mind: VW Golf & Polo, Seat Leon, Toyota Yaris also Suzuki Swift or Ford Fiesta. The TSI engines seem to me to be very spoiled. I wouldn’t be particularly reliable at VW when I read through the forums. I would like to see the Golf VI 1.6, but unfortunately this didn’t work out with the viewing date today. Thank you very much for your tips!

  • Decision support – BMW E46 325 / Audi A4 B6 8E 1.8T

Evening together, in the spring I would like to exchange my Astra G (as a coupe) bought in May. With the Astra I simply will not be happy for certain reasons. My search is limited to cars up to a maximum of 700€ (rather less). Finally I am taken to the decision that it should be either one: BMW E46 325 as ti, ci or i or an Audi A4 B6 8E 1.8 T (150 hp). My driving profile is quite simple: – 10-13k kilometers a year, rather short distance I want to announce this If possible, I will drive it until it falls apart. Therefore, it would be important that the car is generally considered robust (in terms of rust, for example – because a technically impeccable car does not benefit me much if everything is rusted through) and reliable. Rear drive and 6 cylinders are of course great advantages for the BMW, but would not be decisive for me. 6 cylinders would be wg. the running culture certainly interesting. But whether my car is driven in the city at the back or in the front, that doesn’t make any difference in my case. I like the interior of the Audi better, looks higher-quality & more modern. For this, it is cheaper in maintenance. These would be the advantages, in my view, on the part of the Audi. How would you decide why? Which car could I be happier with in terms of the requirements that I have mentioned? I thank you in advance!

  • Leasing at Sixt instead of used cars?

Hello, I have been looking intensively for cheap used cars. However, the insurance costs would be very high with me. I noticed the complete package of Sixt. Sixt offers as I understood a comprehensive insurance for a lump sum amount. In addition, I found there really attractive leasing rates and wanted to ask you what you think about it? Skoda Citigo 1.0 MPI 60PS incl. tax, insurance and maintenance for 150€ per month (36 months 10tkm/p.a.) Alternative is the car also available as a natural gas version for 200€ per month. What do you think about it? Have I overlooked any costs? Which costs come roughly for transfer to me? Did I understand this correctly with the insurance?
