  • Used car prices negotiable?

I am currently thinking about getting a young used car. When buying a new car, it is well known that almost all brands can easily negotiate substantial discounts. What is your experience of day registrations/show cars/annual cars offered on autoscout24 and mobile? Are these usually already combat prices, which could only be pressed in individual cases or only with special negotiating skill (which I don’t have), or can one be pressed of course, a lot will depend on the individual case or the specific dealer and I therefore do not expect a concrete forecast of how much you can get out of young used cars. I am concerned here with the question whether it can be useful to be interested in vehicles that are offered at a price that is slightly above my pain limit.

  • Buy a car from Sweden

Hello Motor-Talk municipality, I have been playing with the idea of getting a Golf 1 from Sweden for a long time in the summer. Of course, this raises some questions, e.g. how it goes with the overpass. I would not transfer the car via own axle therefore by trailer. With 5 day registration plates that would have been no problem only unfortunately there are since 01.04 this “bold” rule only to be allowed to move cars with TÜV (with small exceptions) with it. In Sweden there are so far as I but of course in a different form and under other names, so should the 5 day registration plates be dropped or? Other possibility would be to drive the car over, would that work without any problems? Maybe one of you knows of less complicated possibilities that are also interesting. Another question I have concerns registration with H acceptance. Do you need other things besides Swedish papers, purchase contract? With friendly size sweeten Mark

  • Used, maximum 3000 €, for the next years.

Hello dear motor-talk forum, unfortunately yesterday I deformed my Audi 80 B4 so cold that it is an economic total damage. Despite its 195000 km and 23 years it always ran without problems, I hope I find again something similarly reliable. My budget is unfortunately very limited, it is maximum at 3000 €, but would rather be 2000 – 2500 €. My driving performance is about 15000 km a year, rarely highway, a lot of overland (20-80 km routes), from time to time. I have to park outdoors if this is of relevance. If possible, I would not like to drive a small car. Air conditioning would be a great extra, but if that is not possible, no problem. Can you suggest me models which are generally recommended? And maybe also equally well-known problems that can be examined with these models? I already have once looked around on a large online portal and close to me are the following cars that would suit me: Model – first registration – mileage – Price Ford Mondeo 1.8 Ambient – 09/01 – 150000 km – 1999 € Audi A4 Avant 1.8 – 03/99 – 120000 km – 1999 € Audi A4 Avant 1.8T – 08/99 – 170000 km – 2299 € Opel Astra H Caravan Enjoy – 10/04 – 115000 km – 2290 € Ford Focus 1.8 Tournament Trend – 02/00 – 123200 km – 1990 € Ford Focus 1.8 Tournament Futura – 08/04 – 118000 km – 2790 € MfG

  • Scirocco R o. Ford Mustang Ecoboost

Hello, since I am about to make a purchase decision I would like to know your opinion about it. The costs of the two vehicles are approximately equal to 2000-300€. Perhaps the Mustang with discount will be even cheaper than the Scirocco R. Only new vehicles are considered. To the selection are the Scirocco R (new, only with Facelift) with 280hp and the soon to come Ford Mustang with Ecoboost motorization with 315hp In itself I am very VW-oriented, but would like to the Manufacturers change, because the list of defects of my VW vehicles is getting longer and longer. unfortunately, you can no longer speak of the German quality product. Vlt. could you confirm my statements to me or if necessary comment on them. I am somewhere wrong: The disadvantage of the Mustang is, of course, that you drive a “former Musclecar” Mustang with 4 cylinders….of course, you don’t want to be the salmon number on the road. That’s why I am there noc The disadvantage of the Scirocco R’s is, of course, that you drive old technology through the area. The acceleration of 0-100 should be the same if you take into account the weight? What about the maintenance costs? go the Mustang rather towards Ford-Germany or rather to the US-Cars and will hardly be affordable? (to compare, of course, the VW) Ok Taxes and insurance are slightly higher, that is to be neglected. Freak? With my 1.4L Scirocco with sewing machine motor, which I once had, only positive feedback came back from passersby. The Scirocco was very striking, but not “freaky”. Is that different with the Mustang? It would be great you could also tell me a little about the quality of the installed parts in the Mustang. The aspect “suitable for everyday use” can actually be neglected. There are no children available, and I have access to a station wagon at any time. Thank you!

  • Passat B7 140 PS EZ14 vs. Octavia III 150 PS EZ15

Hello dear forists, after a hard setback when buying a used car, we have now decided to go deeper into the bag and invest directly in the long term. Basically, the decision will probably fall in a price range of €20,000. The following vehicles are currently available: Passats from 2014 with 7-10Tkm mileage, 140 HP TDI for 19,000-20.000€ Octavia III from 04/2015 with 15Tkm mileage, 150 HP TDI for 21,000€. The vehicle will be 95% long distance Jena/Wie The question is now, which justifies the extra charge for the Octavia from 2015 of about 2,000€, although it has run a little more. Is it the newer 2.0 engine? The Navi software from the new golf? I don’t get quite smart and hope for an answer on your side. What would you and why buy? Best regards

  • Recommended purchase Audi A4 2.7l TDI DPF vs. Mercedes C220 CDI

Hello and Merry Christmas. I hope I am in the right area with my questions. As mentioned in the title, I would like to buy one of the two vehicles. Audi A4 2.7 TDI DPF Saloon, 2008 with (inserted with 11500€) Mercedes C220 CDI Saloon, 2007 (inserted with 11390€) These are two vehicles that meet my wishes, both of the performance, optics and purchase price, consumption. My requirements are of course dedicated to the egg laying woolly milk sow. I don’t care about diesel, manual transmission or automatic, up to 150000 km of mileage, is used for short distances and long distances alike. Budget: 9000-12000€ I have already studied the data on the vehicles, but I don’t know about the reliability of the vehicles. Can you talk about the reliability of the vehicles, i.e. no major known defects occur, etc? Would there be alternatives to the two cars that don’t optically differ? A few reports about the cars would also be great.. In case of defects I assume high repair costs. Which vehicle would you choose? Hope for your help.. Beautiful holidays, Tim

  • Dealers don’t want to give warranty.

Hello together, We get families growing and I am looking for my first used car. The destination of the desire is a Vw sharan. Quickly a suitable candidate was found. Equipment and price are just as desired. Only the Fzg has already 200000 Km on the clock. When talking to the dealer he asked me if I was private. I affirmed. Then he told me that he could not give me any guarantee because of the running performance. The question is now, how can he get the I can understand it, but I don’t think it’s that good. However, the offer is also unbeatablely cheap. What can I do? Buy good luck or rather leave your fingers off it? Looking forward to your advice Lg Fabian

  • Commuter car by 30,000€ for big people

I’m 1.90m and I’m looking for a suitable car now. I currently have an I30 diesel with 110ps. In and of itself I’m satisfied. The seat could be longer and I lack the cruise control and the automatic. Profile 50,000km a year The day looks like this from 3km to the highway through a larger city 50km highway (110-50km/h depending on traffic) 45km highway (almost continuous 110km/h with 5-6 villages and a total of 3 traffic lights) and the whole back .. ie almost 200km a day. The I30 takes 5.2 L on average at 80km/h average speed … fortunately it runs very fluidly. I now have an E-Class W212 E200 CDI from 2014 with LED SW, multicontour seats, death angle assists, track assistant, automatic etc. All in all very good. Consumption was about 6l and drives very comfortably. Price is about 30.000€ from 9/2014 with 13tkm. So actually very fair. But to me the car is a little too big and a smaller one would suffice. W Passat with the comfort seats that can also be adjusted in the seat length or which can be advertised directly as comfort seats. Are there alternatives in the annual car range by 30,000€ and max 20,000km mileage? – Diesel – Automatic – Cruise – Comfort seats would be good – from 130ps – Blinding mirrors – Seat heating – LED ILS / Adaptive Light oÄ Looking forward to suggestions

  • 5000 mosquitoes, zero clue

Hello community, the headline probably says almost everything. I saved 5000 euros together and absolutely no track of cars. I have of course read all sorts of tips and tricks for buying used cars, etc. pp. but when the days fell from 4.980 euros to 3.890 euros a car selected by me at mobile.de, there were again doubts. This was about ‘nen Ford Maverick, and this was about the one here:http://suchen.mobile.de/…/215790427.html I like this klo My second choice would be a Mercedes station wagon. I know something different than a giant car, but what should I say, I really like it too.http://suchen.mobile.de/…/214762308.html But the car is 14 years old, well… I don’t know. I would like to ask you a little support in my choice or alternative suggestions about this.

  • Kombi up to 25.000 EURO searched

Hello, from our first wanted child now twins 🙂 And since my wife’s car slowly but surely gives up the spirit – B Corsa – we would like to buy a car as a 2nd car. Want to buy the car by February 2016 because the Corsa will probably no longer come through the TÜV. I drive an Audi A3 – bought at the end of 2014. So we are looking for a new car. Driving performance about 20,000km p.a. We also often drive by car into the ski holiday etc. What should the car have: -Kombi – The best trailer coupling -Automatic (very important) -Navi -Seating (very important) -Benziner -from 140 hp -Inners should be high-quality and not constantly knarzen etc. -Climate Automatic -Dachreling (less important) Up to now we have only driven German cars. But want now tips independently of the brand. Have many in the relatives drive the Toyota and Mazda and are very satisfied. Only Dacia I do not want. Have looked at the Seat Leon Kombi, looks very nice and and seems to have a good quality. Skoda Octavia also looked very good. Only from the DSG I hear almost only bad – also confirmed to me my dealer. But can’t say anything about it – my Audi has manual circuitry. However, with the Japanese there is often 5 years and more guarantee – that would be an important point for us. Pricewise we have once targeted 25,000 euros. Mostly new or day registration. Buy only from dealers – not from private. I am looking for Germany – at “bargains” I also have no problem getting on the train and buying the car at the other end of Germany. (Living in Stuttgart). Thank you very much for your help. VG
