Hello currently driving a golf 2 on which I make 90% myself. It is super affordable reliable, no matter whether in maintenance, use, spare parts or repair friendliness. But as that is so, I would like to soon another with more ps/luxury…. My budget is limited, but I know everything about it, so I can quite judge whether a car is basically fine my budget amounts to 2-3 thousand euros. What I have to choose from so far are: BMW e46 318i 146ps Opel Astra g 125ps possibly as cabrio(um bj 2000 Rum) Mercedes w124(must then be so old that I can get license plates) If you have a tip of course, like it with it What is your opinion about the mentioned cars? The BMW would be my favorite. However, I fear that the reperture there is the most elaborate and expensive. I also don’t know what you can exchange everything yourself without having to read/learn to the workshop Thank you for your help

Used diesel / lower purchase price after decision in Leipzig?
Hello together, I’m still pregnant with the idea of getting a diesel. Some I “parked” at mobile. For example, a Citroen C3 Picasso, just under 60,000 km with some frills for just under 9,000€. What do you think could change the selling price here? Apart from the fact that it’s also a negotiation matter of course 🙂 But just so general: Is there possibly something about the prices of used diesel PKS? LG Biggi

Petrol or diesel? Annual mileage approx. 25,000km
Hall people, First I would like to introduce myself. My name is Leon and I will be 20 years old in the summer. In the summer I also complete my training as an application developer. Currently I already earn above average good because I also work weekends on 450 Euro basis. (I don’t want to mention that the topic comes up that I can’t afford it etc. Currently I drive an E270 CDI Bj 2002 (now W211) This I drove the last almost 2 years 40,000km (currently Running performance : 252,800) It is almost fully equipped and was a gift for my 18th birthday. But due to various problems in the summer the car leaves in March. Now to my actual question / request for help. I drive 4 times a week 100km (back and forth 100km, so one distance 50km) 1 times a week I drive to another location which is about 40km a distance. So I come to about 500km a week. So 25,000km a year (holiday and leisure included (I fa My work path consists of approx. 95% rural road with about 15 villages in between. So much 60-80 km/h for after trucks. Other way via highway is unfortunately not possible and moving is only possible in approx. 2-3 years. Now to my budget: I have saved me over the years approx. 15,000 €. I would like to invest these now meaningfully in a car. For the purpose of insurance I have a deal with my father (instead of Christmas and birthday gifts z So the insurance costs don’t matter to me. What do you think? I’ve already got a lot of information and often come up with different statements. Many tend to be diesel at this mileage per year. Others tend to be more like a petrol engine because of the car part quasi not available. I prefer German car brands. So it should be Audi, BMW, Mercedes or VW if possible. It’s important to me automatic and a nice interior. Small cars are not in question. Oupé, Limo or Kombi I really don’t care about performance should be 160 Ps or more and the engine should be 2 liters or more I hope you look through here and can help me Yours sincerely Leon

Underdog for small money
Hey ho, I’m going to start an FSJ next year and thus have to travel a simple route of almost 30km daily per day, driving profile country road, in winter also quite snowy. I’m not sure yet whether it is completely utopian to afford a car at all here, but a corresponding bus ticket also cost over 100€ per month and then you drive one and a half hours. Price should be at 1500 to 2000€ and the maintenance is as cheap as possible, because I don’t have any However, I would like to not leave the fun of driving completely aside, especially because the curvy track is really fun. I prefer a Panda 100HP, for example, or a Suzuki Swift. What alternative ideas do you have here in this direction? So he can be small, but should have 4 seats. I don’t really care about age and kilometers, he should be reliable. I’m curious about the suggestions, and because I don’t have time. tress habe (goes off in the summer), remains also time to dream

Limousine up to max 35k
Hello guys, at the end of the year I want to buy a car and it is supposed to be a middle class limo. Currently I drive a Toyota Auris EZ 2009. Rationally I don’t need a new one, because the old one still drives well.. but you know how it is.. I am also very much thinking about what to spend. 35k is my absolute limit, which I have set myself. BAR I have about 25 000, the rest then over a short loan over 1-2 years. Drive around 15 000 a year, of which mostly L andstr or highway.. City only for shopping. What the car has to have: ACC automatic very good long distance comfort a bit of steam.. so from 190~hp sports package would be nice parking pieper or camera If diesel, then only EURO 6 The selection is relatively large and I just don’t know what the best would be. Mazda6 EU import? Certainly a good P/L ratio, but pull-through does not have the car. Infiniti q50? I like to look very good, is just an exotic. Otherwise, of course, the usual P/L ratio. Suspects.. Audi, Bmw.. most of all I would like to have a 4 GC… but the price level is relatively high there.. am not sure if I should just close my eyes and buy such a thing I had also thought about buying a Seat Leon Cupra, but that is “just” a compact car again.. Tips, suggestions? Thank you

I’m looking for a used car for my mother up to 8,000 euros
Hello dear community, I’m looking for a used car for my mother. The budget is about 8000 euros. So far we’ve already looked at something like this. You already like models like Golf (Plus) or a Passat. Now we want to expand our search a little bit and see what’s still in the budget. I’d best add a “profile” for you, which you might want to start something with. Driver profile: Threats KM in the year approx. : 4000 to 7000 KM Routes: Rural routes – most short distances Vehicle criteria: Speedometer: No more than approx.125-130.000 KM (?) Engine: Petrol, as often short distance wg. annual KM performance -> Manual transmission Power: from 80 hp – likes to rise Body shape: Limousine or also combi Age: gladly from year 2008 -Checkheftgepflegegepflegt- I have seen for example an Audi A4 (B8 / 2008) with approx. 125,000 KM with the 1.8 gasoline machine. Now my mother is terrified of 125,000 KM something off. What does that look like with the kilometers? Are 125,000 KM already such a value, where you say: “You have to look critically and watch it!” or can you not make such big mistakes with the KM running performance / checkbook? And with which KM running performance would you basically say: No? Unfortunately, I know that these are all questions that you can never answer at all. Because it can be that a motor e.g. only 50,000 KM or sometimes over 400,000 KM – you can never hear that. share when buying. But how do you judge the KM stands when buying used cars? I would like to thank you very much for your vehicle suggestions and thank you in advance. Thank you very much 🙂

New car more PS-wise or stupid?
Good Tach, I would need advice from experienced people who were in a similar situation to me at the moment. Of course I am also happy about advice from other people. I might have to get a new car. I was thinking of a Ford Fiesta ST from 2013 o. 2014. I finished my apprenticeship as an administrative clerk in the public service last year. After my training I stopped working because I was travelling around the world. On the trip my savings went on from the training. Now I work again. Have an unlimited contract, full-time job, live at home and have no additional costs. At the moment I drive my old Focus year 99 (first car). However, it gives the workshop soon the spoon off. More and more repairs occur. At the moment a few things are broken. I got a quote from the workshop. Over 1000€. That’s how much the car is I would like to finance the Fiesta. I still have the money and could afford it. The fun of driving makes me really interested in buying it. I’ve been driving the ST before. Well and in 3 years, who knows, I might not live at home anymore and then I wouldn’t have any money for such a car. So I wanted to take the chance now. Now I’m still young and have the money. Only this financing makes me stubborn. I’m not so the fan of it. How was it with E Have you financed a car yet? Have you regretted it? How would you behave if you were in my place? I am looking forward to your answers LG Flo

New entrants car
Hello Motor-Talk Community, I’m about to get my driver’s license and I’m looking for a used car. I’m 18 years old and male, so I’d like to have a more “male” car (just something, not too feminine). I’m looking for three criteria: – price 2000 Euro to 2500 Euro – cheap in the long term (maintenance, relatively low fuel prices and not too expensive in insurance) – something fancy (possibly no standard brands like VW, Opel, … In addition, I’m a little tall, about 180 cm, so a slightly larger car would be an advantage, but I wouldn’t have any problems squeezing myself into a small car. ^^ I hope you can help me with the search, because I don’t know about cars at all.
