  • Car up to 5000 € (Polo/similar) for small drivers (approx. 5000 km per year)

Hello. We are looking for a car for my father (73) up to 5000 €. A VW Polo would like him best. However, we wanted to see outside the box anyway. Although I can say: With Asian car brands it becomes difficult (apart from Kia, because he knows a Kia dealer and has good contact with this one).Requirements: The demands are not all too high. He would regularly drive short (5 to 15 km) routes (winter + summer, approx. 5000 km per year, almost only country road/localities) u A polo fits perfectly from the size of the trunk and interior. It also likes it visually. TFL and preferably a 5-door (because of the smaller doors) would be desirable, but not a must. Year of construction should be newer than 01/2008. 60 to 80 hp and (maximum) 50 000 km on the tacho would be great. Remember that the vehicle would only get a (!) covered parking space. Since I bought a car only once in my life h However, I have a technical understanding.Autoscout24 and mobile.de: With the above requirements it becomes difficult for the polo. Most of the year 2007 and older or about 100 000+ km on the speedometer. Alternatively, Opel Corsa, Peugeot 207, Kia Rio, VW Fox (and Mitsubishi Colt?) would be in the budget and feasible. In my search I also found two bargains (Mazda 2 (2009) and Kia Ceed (2008). I noticed a relatively large number of Fiat Grande Punto. There are practically very good prices. Where is the catch? My concern: The vehicle must certainly last five to eight years and buy a nine-year-old polo now. Especially when it comes to typical defects or the question ‘what do I have to pay attention to when buying’? At the Peugeot 207 the rear axle seems to be very vulnerable – the other brands I absolutely can’t What do you think / think? Should I pay attention to another brand or even check out one of the above? Thanks for further help!

  • Cabrio up to 10 000 €

Moin people, I’m looking for a convertible used car up to approx. 10 000 euros (likely less) I would prefer an older high-class car rather than something like a Peugeot 20X cc or something like that, so the car should already have some class. A few more hp would be of advantage, back seats would also. preferably also fabric cover! my favorite so far is an Alfa Romeo Spider 939, but it has no rear bench and for the budget all have already about 100k km on it, what to me at a The question: – what do you think about the Alfa? – what else could you recommend? 3s / a4, clk are clear, but is there still one or the other insider tip? The DIng should still drive for a couple of years.. Thanks for all the answers!

  • VW Golf 7 GTI or rather the Audi A5 Coupe?

Hi, everybody! I’ve been looking for a new car for a long time now… I’ve been looking for the VW Golf 7 GTI and the Audi A5 Coupe, but I can’t decide between the two at all. That’s why I’d like to hear your opinions and recommendations 🙂 Of course, I’d like to have at least 200 hp. Since the Audi’s price from 200 hp is too high for me, I’ve been thinking about Chippen. What do you think about it? d the durability of the engine really damaged? And is it still OK if you add approx. 70000 km to the A5? What does it look like in spare parts? Is Audi really so affordable in spare parts Expensive and VW not? My absolute limit would be 24,000 euros. Thank you already in advance!!! 🙂 PS: I’m also open for suggestions from other car brands that can satisfy my desire for full equipment and 200 hp.

  • Spontankauf Übergansauto in and um Ulm gesucht ca. 1000€ – Request for advice

Hello, I’m moving to the Allgäu soon and was looking for a Subaru Legacy for a long time. But now I just don’t find anything suitable and I want to be content with a cheap transitional car and then be able to look for it in peace. So I need a car that I will drive for at least three months. Maybe even until the winter. I want to sell it again afterwards or give it in payment at the new car purchase. But it would be nice to have some space to transport. Most important is that I get rid of it again and it is not the lamest crutch (Allgäu). The car is bought around Ulm (about 50km radius around 89160), because I am still living there. I presented myself at the price until 1500€. But it should be there already. Suggestions from me: http://suchen.mobile.de/…/details.html?…http://suchen.mobile.de/…/details.html?…http://suchen.mobile.de/…/details.html.. .http://suche.mobile.de/…/details.html?…http://suche.mobile.de/…/206598499.htmlhttp://suche.mobile.de/…/details.html?… Best regards

  • Shuttle car up to 700€

Hello together, I will have to commute a lot for my master’s thesis starting in October and look for a suitable car, which is inexpensive in maintenance and offers a certain comfort. Here a few details: – Pendulum distance: 40km daily + 700km on weekends – On weekends I would like to take 3 passengers with me. So there should also be a bit of space in the second row and in the trunk. – Travel speed on the highway: 140-160, which should be reasonably comfortable – I would like a n Cruises and air conditioning – reliable – inexpensive maintenance – maximum price: 700€. It may also be much more comfortable – small loss of value (possibly after half a year to sell again) – the car should not be ugly ;-). However, this is anyway a taste and of you bad to assess With my driving profile I have of course quickly landed with a diesel. There due to the good price-performance ratio at Astra H and Focus II Kombi Diesel. All rdings one reads about the Focus Diesel very much bad. Furthermore, for me also an LPG vehicle would be interesting, but many newer engines of Astra, Focus and co. do not seem to be “gas-proof”. –> Problems with valves, engine seals … Since one often reads about problems with the two-mass swing wheel on the Astra (it is very difficult to assess how likely a defect is), I am no longer so sure that the Astra is really such a good choice. whether you can confirm me in my decision or perhaps have quite different, much better suggestions for me. Thank you very much for your help in advance.

  • Deception at used car purchase

Hello together, I’m new here looking for advice. Looking for an old used small car we found at a private seller last week. Unfortunately, the whole thing is a bit different than expected. But I’ll start at the front: the advertisement of the sellers we saw at autoscout24. The advertisement contained all the relevant data, but the seller had only one mobile phone nr. Called and made appointment for inspection of the car on the same day. We (i.e. my wife and I) looked at the car and were satisfied so far. TÜV new, belt repair was made according to the seller’s statement. We tested the car for a short time, all so far in order. Then we agreed on a price of 1050 Euro on the condition that we make a contract and he shows me the invoices of the timing belt change etc.. First offered un The seller wanted to pay a deposit of 100 euros and then the rest at the time of collection. Lt. of his statement he wanted to have found this so that he is sure to have found a buyer and thus could take the message out of the internet. However, since we had nothing in our hands, we suggested to exchange the entire purchase amount for keys and papers (letter, certificate, TÜV certificate), so that we could make the registration the next morning and then directly the car a Then the seller went in, we introduced to his apartment, so that he could get the papers and then to the bank, where we picked up the money. We agreed to meet the next morning at 10 o’clock to pick up and hand over the remaining papers (contract and repair bills ).Since I was still assuming that we made a contract, I did not ask for names or similar. i.e. I only know mobile phone nr, his vehicle and the approximate place of residence. The next day we will take the car to the parking lot for pick-up at the agreed time. We have made the registration before it. And then it started. The seller can not, the parking lot with the vehicle was closed. Seller contacted, allegedly he had a car accident. So he sent his cousin to unlock the pp, he wanted to send me the papers by e-mail. At least we then chinned the new car with us. To date I still do not have the remaining Papie yesterday the mobile phone number was not reachable at all, today I talked to him but I was only offended and he said the documents I can forget. The vehicle itself is in a (in my opinion, I am not an expert) technically orderly condition. Nevertheless, the following questions ask me, maybe you can help me: – I got letter and vehicle license yes. I still worry that it might be a stolen vehicle. Alist is that ? – I don’t know what to believe. According to his statement, it is not an accident vehicle and especially timing belt reperture was carried out. Only without proof I do not trust the roast. An examination in a workshop is actually too expensive for me, does not want to put money in the old box. What do you mean? – TÜV certificate from the gtü is available. I suspect however that this is fake, since the number of the certificate in the database of the gtü website is not to be found. I do not call there directly tomorrow and ask, but what can I do if this is really fake? I’m just afraid that the vehicle is no longer traffic-proof. – how would you react in such a situation? Just look away saying “car is driving, everything is good” – does it make sense to go to the police? I mean I have witnesses that I have concluded the oral purchase contract with the requirement that I have everything under cover n received (contract and reperature invoices). Apart from a potential forgery of the TÜV certificate. Maybe you can help me. Greetings, Florian

  • Oldtimer (or becoming oldtimer)

Hello everybody, I’ve been on it for a while and I’m getting a vintage car. Now I’d finally have a suitable parking space with a connected workshop. He wouldn’t have to have an H-approval even now. So I say until BJ 86 is still in it. Condition has to (or should not be due to the budget) be perfect. Would then sort of have it straightened up gradually. I’m kind of fixed there a little Audi and would ask you for a few suggestions that would make me feel better. I’m really very open about the brand, production country and car series form. The car should simply address me and may be “culty”, or “exotic”! Whether Coupe, convertible, station wagon etc. is first of all a minor matter. The spare parts supply should be half guaranteed. At least there should still be used parts. Should of course be value-stable. Budget would be up to 15,000 €. With the “dream car” it would not be a n 2-3 k € more would fail. But a car that costs 15k € in the purchase and you have to plug in 10k € still does not come into question, if you know what I mean. I’m not sure yet how “perfect” the car has to stand there afterwards so that I am satisfied. This will certainly be a question of the time to invest and the money. I look forward to a few suggestions from you!

  • Which vehicle would you choose at the following starting position…

Weche’s car would be your choice if you had the following starting position: (brand doesn’t matter for now) – 45000km a year – low consumption (LPG / Diesel) – repair and maintenance costs cheap – very reliable (mackless) – comfortable seats – no small car – 3 water boxes should be to be transported in the trunk – pleasantly soft chassis – performance should be so high that trucks should not pose a problem – budget up to 1000€ – KM power not greater than 100,000€ – no significant negative experience regarding the engine. thank you already
