Hi guys, I’ve already suggested a couple of cars in a previous thread that would be quite good. As of now: I’m 18 years old and need a car for 3000-3000€. As cheap as possible in maintenance. “Performance” minimum 100PS I’ve set myself on following vehicles VW Bora Limousine 1.6L, 2.0L both are type 16 so affordable. VW Golf 1.6 (105ps) also type 16, the 2.0 (116ps) in golf would be type 17 a little more expensive. Would that be worthwhile or yet then A bora is actually a golf only “luxury” if you can put it that way. Is the difference between the 1.6 and 2.0 in the sense that you would say the 2.0 in any case? I read that the one swallows a little more oil but that’s half as wild. Besides, I also noticed these cars: Seat Leon 1.8L (125ps) also type class 16. Almost the same engine as in the golf. Passat B5 1.8T (150ps) also type 16. Power for the same price in the insurance, however, swallows a bit more. what do you think is the best choice? Please also explain your opinion perhaps with your own experiences. I personally have been waiting in the Bora, but your answers are waiting. Look forward to your statements.

Stop BMW or buy new cars?
Moin, at the moment something like this bothers me: I have been driving a 316ti Compact (e46) for about 3 years with 116 hp and currently less than 120,000 km on the clock. The car has everything I need (automatic air conditioning, seat heating, MF steering wheel). The condition is generally good. My problem is currently engine problems, which probably indicates an eccentric wave. If I drive without Valventronic (eccentric wave sensor plugged off) there are no errors. he question, I have the car repaired(800-2000€), I just continue without Valvetronic, or I buy a new car. It is important that I generally only drive short distance and not more than 6,000 km per year (cars are moved daily). Maybe you can help me there. On the one hand, I don’t want to put a lot of money in the car, on the other hand I only had the exhaust welded once in the last 3 years, otherwise everything was good on the car. As a new car I looked at a Golf IIV GTI (Bj from 2014). Then let’s see with your opinions

First car for 10k
Hi, I will buy my first car at the beginning of next year, as an absolute beginner I have accordingly little idea of cars, but already quite concrete ideas. Benz,Audi or BMW , preferably Coupe possibly also limousine , gasoline budget 10000 but also 1-2k more to the necessity. Could loosen up per month 150 for insurance tax etc (without fuel ), Can be registered on mother as 1 car (50%) Will in future have to drive a lot of highway, think times a month sure 4x routes of 500km and more ,so I want directly what I feel safe with. Favorite would be an a5 coupe think but sometimes that might not be in the budget anymore 320i coupe More I wouldn’t think of the brands, I don’t like the coupes of Mercedes in the area, because I’m the ‘ass too high’ With limousines then 3s , c180 , A4 With other brands I do hard, because lack the elegance but would be open to suggestions. Optics and comfort is very important to me g for the whole, there is the a5 and the new CL 500 the Nonplusultra at the moment, just as a clue. The car should already have its 140 ps but I don’t want to race. Would the whole cost-technically realistic? Greetings from the West

Car purchase delivery after the agreed date!!
Hello I bought a car with hail damage from private on 26.11.2016 and made a payment of 1000 euro. Since the loan has not yet been paid off and the letter is still with the bank. I agreed with the two ladies that the transfer will take place until 3.12.2016 and then I will pay the remaining amount. Until 3.12.2016 the ladies should clarify this with the bank and get the brif. Today I got the answer: I have not received the letter since the insurance is very much time for the e transfer has left. Ss we are sorry but we have to comfort them to the beginning of next week. Is already a stupid situation because the ladies use the car as well. I don’t want to have to argue with the ladies and the car too. What would you do or suggest?

Audi A3 G-tron and alternatives
Hello dear Motortalkler, a few weeks ago I had already opened up a thread with the question for which car I should choose. I had decided on an Audi A3 in the final analysis and consideration of all the contributions. In the meantime I was diligently looking for a suitable model. I came across the variant G-tron with natural gas tank. At the first moment I was rather averse to the idea. After a while, however, I was more intense with In my home town there are several gas stations that would serve natural gas. Also the routes I drive on the weekend (about 500km back and forth) have these gas stations. What brings me to the question, you think such a car would be worthwhile compared to petrol/diesel, if you would include all possible costs? If you had an alternative car with an electric motor, you would have to pay for it. rdgas, where you would sargen: Yes, that’s good. ? Or to turn things upside down, why should you leave your fingers off? Thanks for the help

Login without HU report?
Hello, I bought a car on Sunday, unfortunately the previous owner did not get a report on the purchase. He could register the car with the Fzg. Schein. But I don’t have a HU report or a stamp / seal. And no one knew where he was last at the HU. Now my question is, is it enough to register the Fzg Schein next HU appointment or do I need the HU report? Can I find out somewhere where he was last at the HU war? Is there possibly a central office? Register? I am grateful for every help!

A solid diesel should be :).
Hello dear community, it’s been a long time since I had to fight for my concerns, as some people in these forums were very unfriendly, heretical etc. Thanks to the dear doctor, who thought I had to attack myself personally. BTW – You are a great, kinder us dear person. Sorry, for the introduction. Actually, it’s about me buying a gasoline because I was under time pressure. Briefly to the current car: Ford Mondeo MK3 with 103kw/145PS built in 2002 (before de m Facelift) Pensioner vehicle, not 100,000km petrol, 2.0l machine. Basically I like this car, it offers me enough space, is optically fine for a beginner and you notice his 145hp despite, the something in the years, previous owner – but life is somewhat disillusioned for certainly. Since I currently drive between 1500 and 1800km, thus in the year 18,000 – 21.600km, should now be a diesel. Short to my wishes: The car should also 130hp(minimum), rather 150hp – since I occasionally also pull a pendant with it etc pp. It should be a soda, a station wagon, a coupe or an SUV. Budget ~500€, less would be quite cool. max. 150,000km (I have at the moment so in my head) Green badge min. Euro 3 I know many will reject me, but I have a preference for Germans (especially Audi) or Americans. Thank you and nice greeting, – Nic

Diesel up to 17.000€
Hi people, since I (20 years old) want to buy me a car in about 4 months and am currently totally unreliable about it, I thought to myself that I will get a few suggestions from you ! So I’m looking in the frame : – Diesel , since min.20.000-25.000km a year – min 140hp – max 110.000km – Xenon is a must – manual gearbox – NO small car ; from “golf size” up – auxiliary heating would be nice , no need (can you also retrofit) Currently I tend rather to the Pas sat CC, however, that does not convince me to 100%.. I’m curious what you have for ideas! Thank you already! MfG Simon2701

Which car garage (hail protection/snow protection) is recommended?
Hello! I get my new car in December. A Renault ZOE (electric!) which will get a place in a shelter, but it is not closed. This means that dirt particles and pollen etc. can pass through, only rain etc… Since the vehicle stands 2-3 days a week, and I know that of my (so far always black) cars, that then the whole pollen and dirt “gathers on the paint” (you know what I mean) I decided to do it, d I don’t want to pull down such a “up to the hold of the vehicle” – part. I want the whole car to be nicely “packed” down to the bottom (or to the tires). Price is not so important, it has to be good (good, soft lining inside maybe, polish-friendly). It also doesn’t matter if the part is slightly larger than the car itself. The Zoe has the following dimensions: Length: 4.085 mm Width: 1.730 mm Height: 1.562 mm LG
