Hello dear community, I’ve finally signed up for MotorTalk and have a concern: I’m looking for a ‘good’ beginner car which can cost up to 1000€, should not have more than 60 hp and is cheap in maintenance. I don’t care about the look! Since I live in a big city, it has to meet the requirements. (Parking problems etc.) These are the cars I’ve chosen so far: -Daihatsu Coure -Citroen C2 -Ford Ka, With me the rust a bit deterred -Dacia Logan, is the at all suitable ??? -Kia Picanto, which is probably too expensive in the maintenance, right? -Renault Twingo, I don’t know, there are also many different opinions … The car should last just 1-2 years (Please no Volkswagen or BMW), so long I will save money for a reasonable car. (Smaller costs are ok, but not ‘worse’ I know almost not about cars, but a colleague of my father knows well off with cars and would also come with the dealer and look under the car. Thank you already once

21 years old golf goes away – what’s next?
* what I mean by this: For example, at the time, you advised me to be a petrol driver in the Toyota company compared to the diesel engine, because less expensive things can be broken with the petrol engine (turbo, soot particulate filter etc.) My current searches at Autoscout Hyundai i30 VW Golf SEAT Leon Toyota Auris or Corolla Skoda Rapid or Fabia (where Fabia is already ugly) Mazda 3 Kia cee ́dprobably utopian: BMW 1er, 2er or 3er Mercedes C-Class Audi A3 or A4 I ask for an assessment as well as possible to be preferred Engine variants, known (children) diseases with the models or different engines, as well as possible NoGo ́s from your point of view. Many thanks already in advance, I look forward to an intensive discussion and a lively exchange.

I’m about to buy Renault Twingo in 1995
As already described in Forum Renault, I would like to ask you a little advice. Since I am just finished with my apprenticeship, I wanted to buy a cheap starter car for the work, which drives me to work about 30km a day. I found a Twingo at the dealer for 1700 euros because I would like to purchase. EZ/02/1995 47.216 km petrol 40 kW (54 hp) semi-automatic I looked in the net for Twingos and they are all at over 150,000km and some cost denoch up to 1500-1600 Euro and thought I was right to visit a dealer on site. It is important to me that the Twingo can be bought in installment payment, so that I also get min 1 year warranty, because I can not afford unpredictable surprises at the moment I prefer to go on the safe side. How good is this Twingo and what is to be taken care of when buying? Are the 36 months of weight in the price or do I possibly have to take out an additional insurance? Description was still available: 1 hand. Fzg.-Nr: Non-smoking vehicle garage vehicle checkbook maintained finance even without deposit possible GW guarantee up to 36 months possible checkbook maintained only with Renault All information without guarantee This sounds great, but what does the car look like after 2 years after it is always exposed to the weather without garage and protection? Since I was recommended to buy a Twingo from year 1998 because it does not rust through so quickly. I would be totally happy n, if you can give me some tips and if the car could still have the value according to the description.

Perplexity just before the purchase
Good morning dear car friends , I am about to buy a Mazda MX 5 which I have already looked at personally and with which it should go eigtl today to the TÜV South used car check. It is about this car : http://suchen.mobile.de/…/details.html?… Within the family it became loud , that after all the value loss the cars is still worth 20 percent of the new price and I will not get a cent for the car in 4-5 years. That was already quite a shock for me, I am now 25 years old would like to buy my first car now, but also not to lose too much money. Of the Mx 5 one reads quite a lot positive and at present it fits to my driving profile, I drive mostly only to 2. in the car could take the car for transports if necessary from my mother, annual driving performance should be so about the 8000 kilometers. Have visited the car he stood very well there, after the Tüv Check should eigtl the contract be signed But now I’m afraid that I won’t be able to sell the car in 4 years and so I’m putting too much money in the sand. My original hope was that the car could be sold in 4-5 years already for 3500 … Vllt the whole thing can be evaluated by an expert here in the forum, I don’t really know about cars, had so far no car love greetings, Defensive driver

Used car purchase Radio didn’t go when buying!
Hi, I finally bought a Mazda RX-8 today. (At dealer’s) Now, however, one thing just doesn’t leave me alone. At the rehearsal we found out that the radio etc. is concerned, but nothing is to be heard. In other words, on the display you can adjust the volume, transmitter etc., but you can’t hear anything. We bought the car anyway. In the internet offer was under equipment “Original Mazda Radio System”. When we had visited the car stood at the door dressing and “Bose Soundsystem”. We were already happy, until we just noticed that there was nothing to hear. My question now, which unfortunately came to me only later. Can that be that the Hander or the previous owners have expanded the Bose Soundsystem and now there is nothing in it? Unfortunately we did not check that. And if yes, I have a right to get at least a normal soundsystem from the dealer, although I knew at the time of the car purchase that the radio was not perfect because on the Internet it was clearly advertised with sound system. (Vehicle is not yet “transmitted” is thus still standing at the dealer) That would otherwise be deception? Do I see that right? (Can it be that it is only on a cable or the like, then the above mentioned is naturally lapsed) Ask for help. Thank you

Final purchase decision – Golf V Variant 1.4TSI 140PS or alternative?
Hi Talker, I’m looking forward to the final decision to buy a new used one. I would ask you briefly to give your assessment regarding the price and condition of the vehicle. It’s the following vehicle: Golf V Variant 1.4 TSI 140PS EZ 11/2007 70 000km 6-speed DSG HU until 11/2014 black10 000€ negotiated price Features: Comfortline RNS 510 Navi with touchscreen (after installed, GPS antenna “external” cruise control PDC rear summer and winter bikes on aluminium (summer tyres so The car is offered by Privat, an elderly man in a Berlin border district. I visited the vehicle today and it made a very well-kept impression. The seller himself pointed out small scratches and bumps. The last inspection is probably only a few weeks ago, gear oil has already been changed. The seller is no problem. I have stayed with the seller in such a way that I drive with him to the nearest TÜV branch office and have a used car check carried out before purchase, at my expense. Unfortunately, this TÜV branch only makes an “extraordinary HU” and does not offer the complete used car check from the TÜV. But I think that should be enough to be able to assess the overall impression and covert damage better. hr? Are 10 000€ for a 6 year old car with 70 000km and top equipment well invested money or do you have any concerns?? Thank you Simon

Scooter makes sense?
Hi guys, I signed up here in the hope you might be able to help me further So for the first time: I know nothing about scooters, cars etc. So maybe write without professional jargon and easily understand this also I understand Ok here to my situation: I live in a Kaff without proper bus connection and am, if I want to get to work, on colleagues who drive through or even rely on the bad bus connection (one driving with the car 15 For this reason I’m doing my car driving license. But now I don’t have the money at my disposal and I’ve thought about whether for the distance, which is about 12 km long (simple) should buy a scooter. I see at my friends like expensive can become such a car, I have the feeling that no month goes by without someone having to go to the workshop because something is wrong. Can I do such a thing? e to avoid things with the scooter? As I said, I don’t have the big money like 500€ for a repair. And I really only want to use it for the ride to work. . . Here, however, my concerns: I drive the majority of the route on a road, so it can be that the cars drive by me at 100 times. And since I layer, it can also be that I travel the track in the evening (just in winter it will be dark) just in the dark must I don’t know if this is sooo safe. Especially in autumn/winter. (with scooter you can easily be overlooked?) Then there is the thing about winter. How sure is it really in winter, especially when you have a winter like two years ago to ride with the scooter? Or is there good winter tires and corresponding clothes? A well-known still told me, I should, if, But how do I know what a good scooter is and what is not? What costs can I expect? What does a good scooter cost when I buy it? I really have no idea So I hope you can help me further, I am grateful for every tip or experience.

Purchase advice requested, sportl. car up to max 20,000 euros with space
Servus people, Since I soon start a new job (and move away from Namibia), I will have to separate myself from my smart. That’s why I’m looking for a new car. My absolute dream car is a 1er coupe from BMW, which unfortunately falls through my criteria. My criteria are the following: * max 20,000 km (absolute pain limit is 30,000 km) * automatic (keyword A9) * sporty look and driving mode * 4 seats (backside driving only and to people with so there must be no luxury at the back) * some space in the trunk (should a few beer boxes go in) * price limit approx.15.000 Euro (absolute pain limit would be at 20,000€ if it is worth it). * if it is possible purchase from the dealer * contract workshop in the Ansbach I had in the consideration possibly the 3 door 1 BMW, should actually go here cheaply because yes the F20 came out and all wait for the new 3 doorr. Furthermore possibly n A1 is not so cheap there new (and also not so much space. Alternatively, the big brother A3. But other mothers also have beautiful daughters, as we know, only here with a few suggestions (thank you already in advance).

Screwdriver truck for student!
Hi, I’ve been looking for interesting vehicles for some time now, but there has been nothing so far that convinced me so 100%. About me: I’m 18, I’ve been dealing with cars etc for tens of years, and would already call my knowledge of cars above average. At the moment I’m studying mechatronics on diploma. Since I lost my beloved e36 touring some time ago, I’m looking for something new. I want a vehicle which not everyone has, so it’s may be very unusual carts ;D Gladly also older cars. It would be good, of course, if it has metric dimensions, but I also get customs tools as well.. Since I am a student, I have a relatively scarce wallet, so unfortunately really interesting things like m3 e30 fall out! I don’t shy back from restoring a car as part of my possibilities, should only be available in the ready-to-go condition Would I be happy about interesting suggestions TheResistance007

Search start car up to 2000€
Hello dear community, I’m new here and introduce myself briefly. My name is Stefan, I’m still a student and I’m going to be 18 in March, so I have to get a car here. I know one or the other will think “Not again such a topic….” I’m looking for cars in many forums, read through a lot of posts and purchase advices, but I don’t come to a decision to do the whole thing for a few months. Now, as you can see from my title, I’m looking for a car, 2000€ What I don’t want to hear are cars like: Polo,!Corsa!,fiesta. I’ve been driving an MZ SM 125 since I was 16. And when I was 17, I made my B17, so I already have some experience. I’m looking for a car that doesn’t really stand around anywhere in every corner. I’m looking for something that looks pretty good and it’s supposed to be sporty. I’m the more sporty type I like it hard =). Rear drive is very important to me, because it’s just that better drive cones are available to me. And the following cars went through my head like this: BMW E30/E36 (E30 prefers), Mercedes Benz 190, Ford sierra, Audi coupe/90 2.3 Quattro, Audi A4 1.8t Quattro, Opel Omega and the Honda Civic is indeed front drive but have only heard good of this vehicle and above all the engines are awesome. But otherwise any other brands? Well what do you think? please help me, write down your experiences and opinions, I am grateful for that.
