  • A fast-paced novice is looking for a car.

Good evening dear community, I think I’m not the first one to look for a car during his training for class B. Of course it’s still a bit longer, I think I’m going to have the “Lapp” in my pocket towards mid-September. Nevertheless, I’m already having fun looking for a vehicle. Briefly to my person, I’m male and 25 years old and I’m currently working on a tax card, meaning I’m looking for a job, to be precise, I’m looking for an instructor g, the more precise circumstances why, why, why do I not need to explain here. I would like to be sporty on the road, sporty and elegant with a certain charm. I have always said that BMW will be my choice and I would like to drive only BMW. I just want to have quality and think that I would make a good choice with BMW. What about the 1 models? I like them very much from the look, but the 4 doors are then too long. What about the maintenance of such a car? In short, it should be mentioned that I would start with a damage-free class of 3 (i.e. 51% or 50% in liability) thanks to my parents (insured at AXA and would then automatically start there with SF 3 as a beginner, is probably new) and since I am already 25 years old. According to car cost check roughly one would come most at around 180-19€ a month, whereby most would die for petrol. Or then still e a 3s, since this is often praised as a good beginner car? But enough of my dreaming, maybe you can help me? Edit: Forget budget, would count around 4000-5000-600€.

  • Buy at the Mercedes dealer / car but not stapled as described

I bought a second-hand Mercedes (S204) in 2012 from an official Mercedes dealer. It was advertised as “checkheftgepflegtgepflegt”. Now it happened at a workshop meeting that only three of the actual six inspections were carried out in the digital checkbook. Thus, it is not checkedheftgepflegtgepflegt. I told the dealer this lack of material and pointed out that he did not comply with the agreed quality. In addition, I have informed him that my statutory warranty rights (re-fulfilment, withdrawal, reduction, damages) now apply. Since one cannot catch up with the missing inspections and I do not want to return the vehicle, I have proposed to the dealer a reduction of the purchase price. He has rejected this with the indication that in the purchase contract nothing is taken care of. Does anyone know about this? What is the legal situation? Do I have a Chanc to demand / get a reduction in the purchase price ?

  • Purchase advice: Ford Fiesta 1.5 TDCi

Hello, I looked at a Ford Fiesta 1.5 TDCi today: EZ at the beginning of 2016 30,000km The vehicle is quite well equipped and obviously very well maintained in the interior. Outside there are a few small scratchers in the paint. At the front, however, it has a damage, which the dealer had not seen “allegedly” himself. I attached a picture and labeled it… (1) painted damage (approx. 2cm) (2) crack/break of a chrome-grill-bar (3) scratches at the threshold r (approx. 4cm) (4) conspicuous small gap below the headlights (r. u. l.) In general, the whole bumper front seems to be a bit looser than normal. According to the dealer, no reason for a repair. Logical conclusion: price reduction… Of the original €11,000 he was willing to reduce to €10,700. He was not ready for more. Furthermore, he gave with a connection guarantee of 24 months to the value of 180€. Do you find the offer appropriate? rhin should be mentioned that the vehicle comes from France. Papers seem complete, but currently still French. Is this unproblematic when it comes to registration? TÜV still makes it new. Thank you! Greeting Fabian

  • Powerful small vehicle by 30,000?

Moin Forumsgemeinde, for some time now the question of the next car concerns me, can not really decide me and ask here for input. We live central in Hamburg, so do a lot on foot or with public cars. Since 2001 I drove as fun/hobby cars various 911ers, first 993, then 3.2er and up to now a 964 c4 convertible. As main car serves a Renault master with motorhome expansion from 2002. Meanwhile I have a different hobby, we sail a lot and therefore it would be sc Hade, to leave the 911er for five exits a year in the garage. He is just for sale and needs a suitable replacement for everyday use. Now is a everyday vehicle, that replaces the 911er from driving fun something, sometimes for city trips is good, brings me from time to time (otherwise I drive a lot of train) to Hanover, but also for holidays with alpine passes fun in South Tyrol is good. Through drive Now I came to the BMW 1er, which however as M135i xdrive, as well as the new Mi i John Cooper Works. Audi S1 or S3 would still be in this league, but I don’t think it’s that sexy, as well as Golf R or Audi TT. Ford Focus RS is still too new than it would be in my price concept… For large loads and as a boat winter storage toolcars as well as everyday trips to work (usually airport) the Renault Master remains. So it’s supposed to be a travel-friendly fun car. Have I forgotten a good alternative? At the moment I swung between BMW and Mini, which are in different classes, but both make fun and a suitcase also pass in. What would you recommend to me why? Experiences of owners of appropriate cars, why they would advise me to do so.

  • 1. Car: Newer small cars or older used ones?

I’ll buy a car next year. What’s better than 1st car and why: a newer small car a few years old or a compact one that’s already older (max. 10 years)? Running performance at both under 60,000. Performance Small car at least 90 hp Compact at least 100 hp manual transmission + more compact: more space, safer thanks to more sheet metal, cheaper to buy, IS NO SMALL WAGEN – more compact: more expensive in maintenance, technology and multimedia older +Small car: more recent technology and multimes dia , cheaper in maintenance, better for the city, possibly assistance systems – small cars: IS A SMALL WAGEN, less space, less sheet metal for protection

  • Caddy, alternatives, quality and costs

Moin Moin, first of all, I’ve been driving Toyota for years. Always used and never had bigger problems. I’m kind of spoiled in this respect. Apart from wearing parts, there was a Lambda probe to change in 20 years. Somehow I never had to worry that I didn’t arrive. At the moment I drive an Auris from 2007, which has 130,000 km on it and fresh TÜV. However, I know that at some point the shock absorbers and a few other little things are to be done. h for a long time with a car where I can sleep with my wife and toddler. (Liege area min 2 meters). Since I have no idea of cars, I have read a lot and compared offers in the last weeks. It has come out that I actually have no idea and now I don’t even know what I want anymore, let alone can judge if a used man is already scrapped and I get knocked over my ears. After all I have read, a bulli for the coal is totally unrealistic h (if you don’t screw yourself). Alternatively, I could imagine a high-roof combi. The VW Caddy Maxi should perform best with the used ones, but also be relatively expensive. Does it make sense with the budget and the claim to security (coming) to buy a used caddy at all? With them you also often leave something to be done regularly. If so, does it make sense for me to pay attention to such a seal of quality as “The World Car”? Budget : 15.000 € – 18.00€ Must be very reliable! Don’t put any value on that look. (Toyota driver ) Best 2 meters lying area, plenty of space and high. May have scratches and signs of wear… I’m almost so confused that I want to go back to Toyota to buy a new one. I’m grateful for every thought. Greetings Alex

  • Record registrations: SPD, Green and Left want less SUV on the streets

What do you think of this demand? Here is a small summary of the article published today in “Welt online”: SPD, Green and Left demand that the number of “completely over-engined tank models” be reduced. The SPD calls for ambitious fleet limits to be set at EU level. Leftist traffic politician Ingrid Remmers criticizes the car companies: “Instead of building less dirty cars, the car industry is now relying on particularly large, heavy and even dirty cars”, says Dr. Ingrid Remmers. Remmers. “It is completely absurd to build 1.9 tons of weight to transport an average of 80 kilograms of people. 80 percent of the SUVs are registered as service cars and thus are subject to low taxation. The debate is triggered by forecasts that despite climate discussion in Germany, the number of newly registered SUVs will exceed the 1 million vehicles mark this year. The share of new SUV registrations was 31.3 percent in the first four months of the year. The Baden-Württemberg Transport Minister Winfried Hermann demands: “Who drives a lot and also produces many greenhouse gases with his car, must pay more.”https://www.welt.de/…/…chwerer-Autos-sollen-gerosselt-.html

  • Cabrio for 2 meters human

Hello, I’ve been playing with the idea of getting a Sunday/beautiful weather car for a long time. A convertible would be quite suitable for that. Since I’m 2.02 meters tall, but that’s quite problematic It’s probably going to be that there’s only a few tsd KM running a year with season registration marks. I currently have: Audi A5, not yet tested / driven Mustang, had the 2019 model 2 weeks as a rental car in the states in May. That’s still quite good with 2 meters, however I wanted to know if there are still cabrios of the size that I don’t have yet on the screen. (Mercedes?) the following criteria should be given. – Gasoline ( Who wants to hear the diesel engine noise in the convertible) – automatic would be nice-to-have – not older than 10 years – of course enough space for me, so please don’t suggest an Audi TT or VW Beetle

  • US import bought and discovered on Carfax other mileage

Hello dear forum members, I hope I’m right here and find help. And I bought an Audi from 2015 today via a car dealer. The dealer has unfortunately only acted as an intermediary. The car has today at purchase 49000km. On the way home we have already been able to see the excerpts of carfax where it says that he already had 78000km at import to Germany (end of 2017, as an accident car). At the beginning of 2018 he was repaired in Germany and surely also driven bi s today, therefore there is no question that the mileage cannot be right. In the purchase contract stands at mileage “lt Tacho”. What does my legal situation now look like since the seller only acted as an intermediary? Can I now even allow it to happen on Monday or then the legal situation changes when I give everything to the lawyer? Has anyone already experienced a similar case ? Thanks in advance ??
