  • Renewed purchase advice (350€)

Hello, I’ve asked for a car before, but because of many private circumstances my available capital has shrunk to 3.500€. That’s why I’m looking for a car for small money. My dream is the BMW 320i as a convertible, but also as a coupé. What do I have to pay special attention to? The things are all 15-20 years old, is worth it for me at all? Also insurance technology is not the cheapest. I also find the A3 interesting. n, but I find Opel and VW less interesting. Generally just have something reliable with a little bit of horsepower for a bit of fun, I won’t torture the car anyway, but my sister’s Twingo doesn’t even get up some steep roads in the 3rd gear. I don’t want to do that. Can you give me some good offers within a radius of max. 150km from 71404?

  • Serious decision

Good day dear Motor Talk Forum, I’ve been looking for a new car for me for a long time now, but the decision is extremely difficult for me, because I have 70 km to work every day. the thing is that the purchase costs are approximately all the same what I’m interested in is what difference the entertainment costs (inspections tire insurance) are between: BMW AUDI (A3 Limousine or A4 Limousine and there’s also the question is again a big one?) OPEL ( Astra) SEAT (Leon) Volkswagen (Passat) or stop the respective SUV versions we have a very modest driveway depending on how steep you would drive it on but think if I would always drive forward it would be less the problem I was with a BMW 330 d at us in the driveway and there keep between the edge and the ground still about 4cm place if now still snow would come to it it would probably be pretty close with my Opel Corsa D had ic h never had any problems with it so far. like other brands but I have limited to these brands at the moment I would like to come over 150 Ps and then the question of the consumption I know you can not have both either power or little consumption and for that economical or am I mistaken? as you notice I am very indiscriminate… between 25-27K I would like to spend, at least it should be an automatic. I hope you can help me

  • New car after completed training

Hello together, I completed my training about a month ago and have also been taken over by the company. Now I am looking for a new car. I am unfortunately still very undecided and also get recommended by everyone something else, which is why I ask here for advice. I am currently driving a Mercedes A-Class A160, built in 2001 with as far as I know in about 100-110 hp (the exact value I don’t know). Currently I would have about 800€ for a new car to Ve However, my parents rather recommended me to finance the car over monthly rates of approx. 100-200€ + down payment. In the week I drive approx. 90-100km daily. Performance is basically rather secondary to me, but such a bad acceleration as my A-Class brings to the road at the moment I definitely do not want to do so again. I have not yet set myself on any brand or fuel type. The car should be reliable and repairs to the “übli” chen” wear parts should also be relatively simple (for example, you can’t even change the incandescent lamps of the main/front headlights on the A-Class and fuses are sometimes also difficult to reach and are in a wide variety of places, this should definitely NOT be the case with the new car). The consumption should be at least below the consumption of my A-Class. With this I can usually drive about 600km with a tank filling until the reserve lamp on the A-Class. A tank filling usually costs me between 60 and 70€. Otherwise I would like to have Bluetooth, parking aid and possibly navigation system. I also attach a little importance to optics, the VW up! doesn’t say to me at all or I find it absolutely ugly. Generally I like Coupé’s significantly better which does not mean that I place more value on optics than on equipment and other factors. If someone thinks that my mentioned factors are senseless or ic h has missed anything important, then please point out to me! Since I have never bought my own car (the A-Class originally comes from my grandfather), I am still absolutely inexperienced in the field. Thank you already in advance

  • Older Lada (2101, no Niva/Samara) to about 2t€ – where to buy?

Hello, my son (18J) would like to buy an older Lada, preferably from the model series 2101 from the 70/80 (no Niva/Samara etc.). He wants to spend as little as possible, up to max. 2000€. The car should be ready to drive and will be registered (as a normal vehicle, no old/youngitmer). His friend owns a car workshop where repairs (if necessary) could be carried out cheaply. Without a discussion about his motivation, about the insurance (we have in the family) I, as a father, would like to help him. At mobile.de or similar you can find some copies, now I get a bit of stomach pain, if I read “papers no longer available”, “door lock just renewed”, “condition very good, now some repairs have to be ambushed” etc. Are there e.g. reliable dealers specializing in such cars? Or forums? Thanks in advance! Best regards kappa13

  • Spritzy small car for ~5k€

Hello together, since here have many more experience in terms of used cars than I (no idea), I ask now directly, although I have already read a lot. I am looking for a small car, which has the following characteristics: – no “small truck”, you also have to be able to transport something smaller – spritzy, “must come out of’m kink”, around 90hp? – cheap in the maintenance costs – comparatively small fuel consumption – robust, durable and no reparatu rhure – good condition – brand doesn’t matter at first – no matter if 3- or 5-door – color doesn’t matter Most of you are recommended: Mazda 2, Ford Fusion, Toyota Corolla, Citroen C2 I’ve seen the used car market on mobile.de and I’ve noticed the following cars. What do you think about it?Opel Corsa 1.2 16V KlimaPeugeot 207 TendancePeugeot 207 95 VTi Filou 8-fold matured on AluPeugeot 207 SportRenault Clio 1.2 16V 75 Dynamique In addition, I also ask myself if the purchase at a Dealer or private person (/-woman) is better or if you generally avoid buying privately for given reasons. Thank you for your efforts! KP

  • [New car] Car papers disappeared by post

Hello together, sorry I may not have found the appropriate subforum. I ordered a Skoda Octavia RS. This is now available since 31.01.2017 at the dealer on this day we have also made the appointment for collection on 07.02.2017 and the dealer has put the papers “on the way”. The papers have not arrived to this day. The whole was sent as a normal letter Now the question is how to proceed. The statement from the dealer is that it is determined The Postweg is therefore Nuremberg-Munich maximum duration of two working days. How would you proceed?

  • Used car warranty still useful/necessary today?

Hello Community Hab to the specific question found nothing. I noticed that it has been common practice of dealers lately to complete a guarantee before sale in order to exclude possible high costs. So you can only buy the car with warranty which is included in the price. (In addition to the warranty) So you still take a risk today if you buy a vehicle in the customer order with completed warranty? I mean the buyer can not care how a possible defect will be corrected, right? Do I ignore something here? Provided warranty and warranty include the same parts, which is dependent on the package.

  • Toyota Avensis T25 Kombi 2.4 VVTi

Hello, after all your advice, I have now shot myself on the Avensis. It is not nice and certainly not to compare with a C or E class, but practical and not quite so expensive. I am on the hunt for an executive (seat heating, automatic..) with the 2.4VVTi. I found this here: https://www.autoscout24.de/…/…2731-bbd3-0a28-e053-e350040aea36?… EZ: 2004 130TKM In August last inspection (at a free workshop, otherwise always at Toyota). Wi Nterreifen with 3-4mm profile, summer tyres with 5-6mm profile, each on steel rims. New brake discs and new battery+starter in August and April. Price 5.90€ Since there is no ADAC workshop nearby and the holder (older gentleman) does not want to leave the car (but would come with you for inspection), I could only have it looked through at a workshop on site. The only one there would be an ATU workshop. Is that something good? I know only bad from ATU, but I was never there myself. Perhaps I could take a friend who is a car mechanic, but of course he doesn’t have his lift. What do you think of this car? What do you think of the T25 with the above-mentioned motorization? I drive very few KM a year (about 5000) therefore the high short distance consumption is not so important to me. More important to me is that the big engine on the AB promises more smooth running and can drive the whole weight even while overtaking. a for a pedal in the footroom is with the passenger? Was that a school car? Thank you!

  • Diesel wanted, 13.333 € approx. – German brands (engines) preferred – frequent drivers

Hello, dear community, I’ve signed up to get advice from you on the topic of car purchase – that’s coming soon. I’ve learned, I’m currently driving a very economical but still brisk car (Audi A3 8L 1.9 TDI from 2002) that I’d like to replace slowly … although I think there should be a lot of things (currently about 250,000 km on the clock). I drive about 25,000 km a year, of which there is a lot of work on the road… for that you need a I am now looking for a car for me which should have the following characteristics: – price frame of approx. 12-14.000 Euro – no more than approx. 150,000 km – automatic transmission – no combi (young & dynamic stop) – good diesel engine (I mean a reliable) – be German manufacturer (BMW & VW or Skoda or Seat, which own German interiors) – 4/5 Be a doorr Personally speaking, the BMW 525d and 530d with the Sech The E60 models with the in-line cylinder are known for durability and suppleness… I also find them very pretty, but with M-package they are still a bit expensive for mileage/age… Next consideration was a VW Golf 6 GTD with a DSG transmission. Is there for the price much younger than the BMW’s (Bj. approx. 11-13) for my price idea. Do you still know cars I should look at? Do you have opinions on the ideas I have? I don’t think so? Thank you for your answers!

  • Fuel saving car (mainly motorway) 27,000-30.0000 km per year

A nice day, I have been thinking about a new car for a few weeks. New in the sense of new or well used. I have been driving a Suzuki Splash ex 1.0 liters and 65 hp since 2011 and my car has also been victim of driver flight. As mentioned above, I drive a lot of highway. Every second day it is 140 km via highway and city traffic. Of course I don’t need to talk about having a huge spirt consumption. And I would like to change that and also etraglic Of course there is a wide range of car models. In order to gain an overview of which car also makes a good “sprit figure” on the highway in contrast to my current car, I need your help/opinions. Because I am a small woman, it should of course not be a combo 🙂 and no Mini/Fiat 500. My price limit is 16,000 Euro (new/needed). Of course there are also various features to this (parking assistance front/backside zb.) What for brands kö nnt you recommend me, which are also not very reperature prone. Electric car does not come for me question, also certainly does not fit in my budget. I look forward to your feedback.
