Hello, I would like to buy a used car. I drive about 40,000 km mostly long distance in the year. My budget would be max. 850€, I have so far looked at the A3 8P(A) with the 1.8 T engine, and the 1er BMW E87 118i and 120i (Facelift), optically I like both vehicles very much, however I would like to know what you think about it, or to which vehicle you should tend rather. Actually, I like the BMW almost optically better, but I have heard, the 118i should not be so go well and the 120i is quite expensive in my environment, so then the Audi 8P(A) 1.8 T came into question.

Vehicle up to approx. 3000 €
Hello dear Motor Talk’ler I’m looking for a car up to approx. 3000 € I’d like to have a station wagon, but now I’m also available for the “short” variants. From the optical point of view I wanted to get a VW Golf 4 Variant – Gasoline. I like it very much! But I haven’t read a lot of positives about it yet and I’m a bit perplexed now. I’ve prepared the following criteria: Fuel: Gasoline KM: tja, Pain limit were 125,000 km but I’ve now read d As km does not necessarily have what to say or are important driving performance: about 12,000 – 15,000km per year I do not necessarily need place, but of course a combination would be more practical if something to transport or a night has to be spent in it. What I have always looked at so far is that the timing belt was changed and he had his prescribed oil change – so checkbook maintained. Of course a dealer’s offer, which is not in the customer’s order, would be super because of the warranty. At TÜV I always saw that it is NEW or not due under 18 months. The location wouldn’t be so important – but you could narrow it down to Bayern & BW. Did I forget something? As I said, the GOLF 4 Variant (Benzin) was my optical favorite so far.. but that doesn’t help anything if I only had trouble with it. Thank you for your help. 🙂

Ride without a racetrack?
Hello, if you read all the reports about Mazda, Toyota GT 86 and Fiat Abarth Spider etc. like this, I wonder if you actually have something of it on normal country roads, if you have a “drift beginner-friendly” vehicle – or something like that can only be used on the Nordschleife or similar (I don’t want to talk about “sinning” We currently have a Toyota Auris Hybrid as a family car, with its almost 130 hp the strongest car I’ve ever owned. I’d like to take a ride on the highway – curves, brakes, acceleration – and sometimes a bit slip if possible. I’d like to take a ride on the highway with me. As you’re sure I’m “sport driver inexperienced” – could be enough for the ride (apart from the highway) even a used smart roadster (beautifully easy), or should it be an entrance r-sportcar a la Mazda MX5, with rear wheel drive etc.? Or do you have anything of the drift skills anyway on special routes in “free driving”?

Used car: seller has made incorrect information about timing belt changes
Hello! I bought a used car from a dealer today – probably a little hasty. I need to rely on the car. PLEASE PLEASE save you comments like “how can you be so stupid” or something like that, I need concrete help now, because I will go to the dealer tomorrow morning. Before the purchase I addressed the seller several times on the timing belt change and he said: “You can ride there for more than two years until the change has to be made!” Unfortunately I was probably too After my research, however, the timing belt change is necessary in about 2,000 km. So the statement on my repeated requests was definitely wrong. What is your advice in this situation? Should I ask the dealer to return 500 euros for the timing belt change or should I immediately withdraw from the purchase, also because of the loss of confidence? I know, actually not so easy, but under the condition that I give the seller more Is this the change of timing belt and he made a false statement, should I have a good chance, right? Look forward to your thoughts and help. Jean

Towing vehicle with at least 2.5 to trailer load
Hello together I am looking for a towing vehicle for my horse trailer with at least 2.5 to trailer load: Horse trailer with horses has about 2.2to There must be reserve for a mountain road 4×4 must be happy with a return camera and parking aids (would have liked some luxury and not a pure farmer’s car) It will be my everyday car at the same time, therefore it should also be clear to drive to a parking garage 🙂 For the work path however, I do not need it. I have thought about the following cars: Jeep Cherokee 2.2 with 200hp – many assistance systems handy everyday car with a lot of power. My concerns: Fiat engine, very expensive maintenance, small engine which possibly comes to power limit lasting. Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 diesel – sufficient power and margin, but: Fiat engine, expensive maintenance, huge car Kia Sorento 2.2 diesel from 2015 – many assistance systems, enough power and space, but small engine and thus Bed If this is the case Toyota Land Cruiser 2.8 or 3.0 Diesel – only advantages except for price and size Mitsubishi Pajero 3.2 Diesel – only advantages except for the size and lack of equipment Does anyone have experience with these? Ah yes, I don’t like German cars 🙂 Pickups also prefer not

Medium class diesel (7000 euros, from 05 to 150tkm)
Hello municipality, on 01.01.2018 I am looking for a new vehicle. It should be in diesel if possible, as I will drive 30,000km in the year. The budget is 7,000 euros, the year desired is from 2005 and up to 150,000km. equipment is enough for me a multi-function steering wheel and very important PDC. It should be a car of the middle class, not a station wagon. I would prefer a BMW or Mercedes, these would be my favorites: E90 320d – much of turbo problems heard, moreover not so many for 7,000 on d W203 220 CDI – I like optically little, but apparently very robust engines. W209 – probably no diesel under 7,000 euros. W211 220 CDI – there are good ones for the price? Got there at the SBC worry. What do you say to the models listed above? Do you have other suggestions? I don’t necessarily want a VW, Audi A4 I like only from B8. The other question is also whether you can find a long-haul diesel from 2005 with 150,000 at all. In this case, the car would have a year’s price. However, younger vehicles are hard to get for the price. A petrol engine would cost about 80-100 euros more per month at the mileage of 30,000 a year.

1.53m big girl looking for car
Hello Together, as the subject already says, I am looking for a new car for me. 1.53m tall and hit small problems. I have the typical problem that I don’t always get super at the pedals. If I get to it, it can happen that I’m sitting pretty close to the steering wheel or even my head already reaches the sun visor. I have a Suzuki Splash now, however, he is already older now and I would like something “new” and a little more PS. 16D looked at, great car, but I would have to put myself a little with the sun visor, because I was very close to it, even the wedge-kissing was not a good idea. My question to you, maybe also to the under 1.55 m tall people, what do you drive so? What could you recommend to me? Of course I will not get around just to look at all the models “sample-to-seat”, what is feasible and also cozy. I drive about 30,000 km a year and there should e I hope for your answers and tips.

Allrounder for sporty family
Hello together, my husband and I are in the comfortable position to choose a company car. Until now we had not bought the leeway and a used Opel Astra Caravan. That was a pure money question, the children were still small and we had hardly any demands. Now we can choose as follows: Up to 48,000 Euro German manufacturer Automatic Diesel We are four people (children 6 and 8 years old), possibly a third child is planned. We drive at least once a year ski and So we are looking for a car that allows a ski transport. In the Opel we simply put them through the passes. In addition, we are recently MTB riders and want to take the bikes with us now. Here we have to think about now. We can camp and have to pull a caravan, because we can rent it from my family. So it should fit a caravan plus four bicycles. Of course, it would be good to take more people with us, e.g. to football tur My husband (he drives the car mainly) makes every day between 50 and 200 km distance, not business, but private to us. He is rather a comfortable driver, unless he is in a hurry. So far he had a Skoda Superb and a Sharan to test. Both of us liked for completely different reasons. My dream would have been a VW California Beach, which probably falls out of the grid for cost reasons. Now our questions. In addition to the Super b and the Sharan, what would you recommend and why? I know it’s a pretty luxury problem, but we’ve never been interested in cars and are now quite slain due to the selection. I’m curious! Thank you!

Half year 200km commute, then family car
Dear forum, in February I will start a new place, which is 200km away (mostly motorway). For family reasons, an immediate move is not an option. However, we (family with a child) would then move to the place of my new place in the summer/autumn if everything fits. First I would commute however, if necessary I will stay two nights a week at the place of the new place. We have saved almost 7000 EUR. The place is very well paid, I would all of this Gs hate to be in debt. Air conditioning would be important. At the moment we do car sharing and drive there mostly a Ford Fiesta. I could imagine commuting with the car if necessary, but the trunk is too small for family use. What would be good options for me here? Thank you!

Firstling for up to 14k
Good day, I am (already) 28 years old and am currently looking for my first own car. Since I have never had much to do with cars, the market is killing me so much that I thought to ask for advice here. I’m looking for a car for up to 14k Euro (more than 12k-13k). What I know is that it shouldn’t be a small car and should be as new as possible (day registration, reimport, up to 20k KM). So far I’ve seen the Renault Megane, Ford Focus and the Dacia Dus I don’t like the rear, but an SUV would fit me like a fist in the eye (unfortunately everyone else is too expensive). Schnickschnacks like Navi etc. would even be included in the price at the Duster, but I have read more of the bad quality in the interior. I will get a picture of this myself on Saturday. Opel Astra and Toyota Auris don’t seem to agree with me visually. Car would you recommend for my budget, what should I pay attention to and there is a possible candidate that I simply overlook? Thank you already in advance! MfG
