After I have already informed myself in some special brand forums I have arrived at a point where I have quite precise ideas about which should become our next car. First of all the boundary conditions: we need a family station wagon, in which I can sit and drive with my 1.90 m front, while behind me at least a 1.60 m large person should have enough legroom to sit comfortably. The car will probably be about 10-1 3,000 km a year, which is why a petrol engine is probably more useful than a diesel engine, especially since in many forums the diesel is warned of at a certain age, as there are large follow-up costs to be expected (DPF, turbocharger etc.) In addition, the car is probably used 50-70% on short distance in the city. The budget for the car is approximately at a maximum of 6500 €. If it is a super offer it can also be quiet 7000 €. First of all, it is planned to drive the car For the next three years he should be as inconspicuous as possible in the maintenance and repair, in order to bring correspondingly low follow-up costs after the purchase. Since my wife is finished in there. three years with the study, there are then other possibilities. at this point again many thanks to the forum users, who have already helped me intensively and expertly with the preselection. But now the ones chosen by me in the inner favorite circle 1.) Skoda Octavia II 1.6 MPI from year 2005 with 102 hp 2.) Toyota Avensis 1.8 Year of manufacture between 2003 & 2009 with 129 hp 3.) Mazda 5 2.0 from 2005 with 146 hp (6 gear) 4.) Mazda 6 1.8 from 2002 & 20 08 with 120 HP 5.) VW Passat 1.6 MPI from 2003 with 102 HP Already before thank you for your opinions and information. This forum has helped me so much.

Golf V should be searched away / car up to 22,000€ (Mazda 6, BMW 5 Series, Opel Insignia)
Hello, because our Golf V 1.4L TSI 90KW is getting so slowly expensive (147,000 km) … – last year: Starter (loud noise when starting) Brakes rear Discs and coverings some flex tube maintenance interval = 1000€ – since today: because of the same noise (maybe still steering chain) Brakes front Discs and coverings jumped high-light glasses (I’ve never heard) = probably again 920€ without possible repairs because of the steering chain. A friend said I had the But that’s my opinion fraud. But now I’m playing with the idea of selling the car after the repair. I hope I didn’t forget anything

Search tips for car purchase: used, economical towing vehicle
Hello together, I would like to buy my first own car and need a few tips on which models might be suitable… I’ve already researched a bit, but the selection is just as big… maybe someone can help me arrange my thoughts here and make the decision easier. There are the following criteria: -Used car -max price approx. 12,000 -max kilometers approx. 80.000 -must occasionally be able to pull a trailer with pony in it (I think about 1600kg train load should (with hangers, of course, it may need more) -favorable in insurance and tax -not older than about 6 years so search an everyday suitable, cheap car, which should sometimes be able to pull something. Would I be happy about tips on models 🙂

Small camper/box car for small money
Moin, I’m looking for a cheap and less consuming “camper” for the coming summer with which I can travel through Europe for about 3 months. Important to me are at least 2m lying area and a not too high consumption. In addition, it should not cost over 3000-40000€ and be reliable otherwise not much frills. Since I normally don’t need a car in the city, I would probably buy it again in autumn 2018. So it’s really only about a mini-Ulaubscamper without high prices. Thank you for your answers 😉

Should you take a closer look at where?
www.autoscout24.de/…/…in-grey-f9020a81-6237-436c-b501-003e23f73298 I have this model at the moment with 115 hp. The size is enough for me. The quality of the cockpit too. But I would like to exchange for something more sporty. But should cost little. Drive only 3000km/year, because I ride partly with a company car and on the other hand with the bike. I am looking for something with over 150 hp, space ratios is no matter or not too large, within 100 km of 77652 or also closer. I am not interested in the equipment, only the car should have air conditioning. No SUV, no E-Class etc, that’s too big for my needs. A corner scratcher, which is not too hard, that would interest me. What do you think? I don’t really care about the brand….

New family car / Combi / SUV / Diesel premium
Well, hello, our E46 330d combo with 305,000 km – Euro4 – can finally go. Better to say, the servo pump is currently failing. In addition to our Ford-Ka, and Mini British Open we need a big car. Now I am a little spoiled by the driving performance of our BMW`s. And in a few days also a 5th family member moves in. A dog. We create about 10,000 – 13,000 km a year, mostly short distance. Car we can pay cash or finance. And we go So far we have looked at and driven: Hyundai Tuscon Premium / T-GDI 177 hp premium + residual value for BMW financially the cheapest variant with approx.24 – 26 T€only seen Opel Insignia B Sports Tourer Riesig + better processed than Hyundai + long warranty period Premium 7,000 € is thus around 35 T€ Audi Young Used many factory cars A4 Avant with the small TFSI (deliverable 150 HP) and good equipment, all EZ 2017 and between 15,000-25,000 km, with 3 Years connection guarantee from 32,750 € premium 6,750 € is thus around the 26 T€ (as 2.0 TFSI quattro then probably 10,000 more ??) Do you have tips for us ?

Ford Focus from the Ford dealership
Hello everybody, I’m about to buy a Ford Focus built in 2007. It’s in a Ford car dealership, has run 73000 km and costs 59000€. I’d get a new timing belt plus water pump, new Tüv, a used car warranty of 12 months, a set of winter tires on aluminum, an inspection and a full tank. I’m always very suspicious about buying a car, as I was well pulled over the table when I first bought a car from private. ge: On the brake discs I have seen rust. After the test drive the discs were freed from it. If the dealer says that the Tüv is made new, the brakes would have to be changed if they are not in order, right? Thank you in advance.

Hybrid SUV Wanted! Niro, Outlander or Rav4
Hi all, I’m looking for a hybrid vehicle. Inner-city short distances up to 15km and regular holiday trips are part of the driving profile. kia niro, mitsubishi outlander and toyota rav4 are priced (35K) in the budget. Maximum as annual car. There is someone with experience with these vehicles who can report here. To kia niro unfortunately you find very little. Price performance is best from my point of view. Outlander as plug in top. And rav4 with strongest motor combination… Do you?

New compact or used premium? Upkeep?
Hello forum, I am about to buy an annual car or day registration of the compact class. I have the following consideration: Option 1: Example calculation: car approx. 17000 Euro, 1 year, 10000km on it. I should be able to drive for about 10 years (15000km/a) and have maintenance costs of X. After 10 years the car is probably still 2-3k value. Makes under the balance expenditures of approx. 17k – 3k = 14k + repairs/maintenance etc. for 10 years Option 2: However, now also the ghost in my Instead, head around to get me a used car of a slightly higher category. So e.g. Mercedes A class, Volvo or Audi A3 These are also rather compact class but from the price already higher and felt something more valuable. Besides, I like the three very well. Supposed for 15K you get a well equipped Mercedes with 3-4 years and 50-60k kilometers. Drives this then 5 years instead of 10 and then sells it again for say 5-6k -> 15K – 6K = 9000 Euro plus repairs/maintenance The difference is that you have two weights for option 2 over 10 years (may be before or at a disadvantage) and just drive used cars instead of almost new ones. In addition, possibly higher workshop costs are coming to you? Are my thoughts so far right? I know that a car always means loss and doesn’t want to compare it exactly to the euro…but so Pi I want to see what a similar investment can be made. How are the maintenance costs/workshop prices of Mercedes and Auto compared to Ford/Opel etc? Thank you
