  • VW Fox 1.2 (2010) and Alternatives

I’m just looking for a used small car. The first few owners I visited were not so productive. A 3 year old Peugeot 208 Diesel was there, in which I didn’t sit very comfortably to be honest. The windows were all around very small, at the driver’s side I couldn’t look through the side window at all, and somehow much of the dashboard was not relative to the seat. A 107/108 was basically the same. So it won’t be like that. from the seating feeling and the overview however was much a VW Fox 1.2 from 2010. Unfortunately with 82000km on the Zaehler. Can one venture on such a car if one expects to drive it maybe 2 years? How many KM I do not know yet. The consumption seems to be extremely high, the durability rather low according to the car picture. I have not read further tests yet. If you guessed from this absolutely I will probably have to rent a car to rattle off more owners because these all too are far away. And then again for a test drive if there is anything in the visit – and unfortunately only on the weekend. What do you think?

  • Car up to 2000 Euro as second car for beginners

After the thread (http://www.motor-talk.de/…/…1000-euro-als-zweitwagen-t5374115.html ) in July my wife finally made it and passed the driver’s license after the fourth time Now I am of course actively looking for a used vehicle (petrol, manual transmission, small, suitable for the city best, cheap in maintenance / fuel consumption) doesn’t have a family car, because we have it and if one takes the family car then he is also on the way with or for the children The other one has at least the possibility to drive a car in Berlin. Smart topic has taken care of itself, so nevertheless something where the children can also take part. I thought about Renault Twingo, Nissan Micra or Polo or something else. Since I drive a Hyundai currently, of course something of this manufacturer would be conceivable – simply because of the good experience. So far I look for cars from EZ 2000 and up to 100,000 KM. In addition, I pay attention to a quite far away TÜV. I’m open to criticism and suggestions if you could go down in one area. Maybe it’s 1999er or something that’s good. So something like:http://suche.mobile.de/…/details.html?… Can also be complete nonsense and you advise against it – then do it. I’m open to any criticism and bird show. Budget is up to 2000 euros. Of course I’m open to recommendations. Please note that we come from Berlin 🙂 Thank you! PS: In the eye I would have zb the already where with unfortunately only 2-doors, but I think at the beginning and for the beginning would be okay:http://suchen.mobile.de/vehicles/details.html?id=217866005

  • Test drive at the dealer’s after five minutes finished by the dealer because ride is not insured?

I have a question about test drives or about the duration of standard test drives. I am currently looking for a new vehicle and have already made some test drives in my life. The last dealer where I bought my car half a year ago let me drive two hours on my own on two different days. I then bought the car. Now I looked at an Audi A6 built in 2004 for interest, among other things. d agreed an appointment for a test drive, because I was really interested. During the actual test drive, an employee accompanied me from the dealer. After five minutes, however, the employee said that I should drive to the right, that this is enough now, because one generally only allows five minutes test drive, because the test drive is not insured and if something happens with me as a buyer at the wheel, then one remains as a dealer on the damage. Can such a thing be? I’ve heard this for the first time. Is there any difference in what liability the dealer has to his insurance policy?

  • Used car around 15,000€

Dear Community, I (mid-20) am currently looking for a used car, because my Audi A4 has unfortunately blessed the time. I am looking for a compact car with a sporty design with which I want to drive the next years approx. 15-20tkm/year (50% motorway, 50% city traffic). I think this data speaks mainly for a petrol engine. I would like to have the following features in the car: I was so far very fixed on an Audi A3 Sportback (from 2009) the Prob I also saw that an A5 or C-Class Coupe (W204) can be found almost in the same price range and I wonder if I can not get any more for my money. I also like the BMW 3 Series Coupe (E92) very much, whereby the highly praised 6-cylinders are probably over 20,000€, which is a little too high. As you can see, I am still quite undecided when choosing the vehicle model. In terms of design, however, I am very focused on the German manufacturers. Above all, it is difficult for me to assess which models are more likely to cause problems in the long term or where I can easily hit at >100,000km. In short, I am looking for a car with the following characteristics: The specific question would be which models/motor variations you think fit specifically to the requirements profile, especially in terms of reliability. 00 Thanks for your help.

  • Purchase advice

Situation: Drive more than 30,000 km a year and currently have a 5.5 year old Opel Corsa D 1.4 eco petrol. I am looking for a diesel to not always refuel the more expensive petrol at the kilometers … Unfortunately I am a complete layman in the car area – with me it only has to drive without problems. Do not put a value on “shrinks”. Of the 30,000 km a year are well half on the highway. Driving behaviour are there 120 km/h and then turn on cruise control. Do not put a value on a lot of horsepower – a never It is definitely more important to me that I always have a look at it and sometimes also annoy my girlfriend with the invitation not to heat like this or to drive foresight at times^^. I have now looked around at mobile and in the sewing focus are the Opel Astra, Renault Megane, Hyundai i30. Requirement: max. 3.5 years old, max. 60,000 km run, diesel, air conditioning, like a combi, but definitely a 5-door. Budget ceiling is 11,000-12,000 €. My Pro In particular, it is important to assess which car fits my requirement of low consumption. Especially in the case of engine capacity etc., all the different versions confuse me. Which engine/car fits my driving behaviour (fuel-saving and yet enough hp to be able to overtake on the highway at 100 km/h times n truck) or my route 45 % highway – 25 % highway – 30 % city center. In addition, where the quality differences of the individual brands lies. I hope you can give me here a I would also like to accept alternative proposals for the three cars mentioned above.

  • First car, purchase advice

I wanted to get my first car next year, because I save a year intensively, I think that I will have about 10,000-12,000 € available, monthly net 700 € will depend on my training fee. In the narrow selection for me are the BMW 3 (E46 and E90; each 316i, 318i and 320i), the Audi A4 from 2005 (mostly 2.0 FSI), the Mercedes C-Class W203 (I like Mercedes very much, but the C-Class in the insurance is quite expensive, but many I can discuss positive characteristics which would ultimately justify a purchase), the VW Polo (MY 2015, in new) and the VW Up!, also MY 2015 in new, however I don’t like the low engine power with these two vehicles. Currently I drive a BMW 7 Series E65 and a Nissan Pixo, both with automatic, but also have no problem with a hand switch, although I automatic due to my personal taste pr I hope you can tell me something about my above-mentioned candidates and which you would take in my place, I am happy about many helpful answers, until then I remain with kind regards!

  • What does the used car dealer warranty include?

Good morning. I don’t know if it fits in this category, so if it’s inappropriate, please move or delete it. I bought a C240T, W202 on Monday. The contract has a 12 month warranty. However, it has not been explained what everything is guaranteed. Can I be clarified? 🙂

  • Kaufberatung Kleinwagen / Diesel

Hello, I have the topic soon (September/October) that I have to get to work well and gladly 70km (one track). My current vehicle has not been bought for this and therefore I have to consider whether I will not buy a small car as a diesel for the track. If I enter my ideas in the car exchanges, I fall into the lap Renault Clio, Twingo, Opel Corsa / Fiesta or Peugeot 207. At a maximum of 5000 EUR purchase price and not too high mileage Is it sometimes a smart one, too. But I would be too small if it was about a daily distance of the order of magnitude. Now I ask myself: Is it no matter what vehicle I choose for the default 5000 EUR, diesel, max. 80,000 km and dealer offers? Because e.g. the engines are all good or reliable? I am clearly concerned with low maintenance costs, maintenance inspection. Insurance and tax can be calculated for myself. But with a mileage of 42000 k m a year, I can not afford a cucumber in addition. Therefore, the car has to be durable, though accordingly. I expect tyres and other wear parts to be more or less similar with all manufacturers. Unfortunately, it is not enough for a new car a la Renault Clio 9999 EUR. Would be really grateful for hints. The public would be an option, but the journey time is considerable and costs would also come to me. Estimated useful life of the small car: minimum in 2 years, until I either have shorter journeys again or there are serious alternatives in the public sector.

  • ? Deduction of value on conversion

Hello, it’s just being discussed whether VW might take back cars in the context of conversion with deduction of value, where CO2 emissions were incorrectly calculated. Since I would like to get rid of my car due to a changed driving profile (now about 25,000 km/year), but a sale does not pay off, I wonder how much is usually deducted during a conversion? New price from the golf, see signature, were about 31,000 euros according to the list. In a cash sale today I would fill about half of the price There’s the loss at just 30,000 km too high. Would the loss be less if the car could be used for a change?

  • Small cars up to 15,000 EUR, Mazda 2, Hyundai i20… ?

Hello, a friend of mine would like to buy a new car. In terms of size, a small car/compact car would suffice – despite 1.92m height. The budget is at max. 15,000 EUR. Mainly it is used for the way to work (short distance 6km) and the way to friend & friends. Per year about 12,000 – 15,000 km mileage per year. We have seen today the Hyundai i20, the Toyota Yaris, the Mazda 2 and the Seat Ibiza. In the short choice is now still the Mazd a and the Hyundai. Tomorrow we look at the Mazda 2 again in peace at another dealer, because the dealer where we were today had only one outside in the dark standing. At the Mazda 2 it would probably be a model with the “Exclusive” or “Sports-Line” equipment and the 90 HP 1.5L gasoline. At Hyundai it would be a model with the “Yes Silver” or “Yes Gold” equipment. As an engine it would be a 1.2L gasoline with 84 hp. Advantages of the models – without test drive… Advantage Hyundai: – 5 years G arantie (costs 200€ extra charge at Mazda) – At first impression today a little more space in the interior Advantage Mazda: – Better engine concept, splashy (according to technical data) – Better infotainment system – LED daytime running light and headlights more beautiful (better?) Are there still more points for the respective model. How would you choose between these models? Or do you have other suggestions? Best regards & thanks! Sebb
