Hello, I’ve been in a grueling fight for 2 months. I want to get a new car for the next 5-6 years. Currently I drive a BMW E91 325d BJ(2012) with automatic and almost full equipment. I will get married in about 2 months and have already been threatened that a baby should enrich us in 1 year. After 5 BMW in the last 13 years I want to change the camp and to Mercedes. I now have the young racing driver times behind me and put a lot of value now. I have taken the new C-Class and the current E-Class with Facelift as used car / annual car, each with only the limousines variant. For me currently only a diesel with automatic transmission ( 7G or 9G) is in sight. Stand now before the point, which in the longer term is probably the better and more reasonable car. The C-Class has a life of about .6 years. With the E-Class comes next year already the new model. The C-Class is technical. The E-Class would probably be better from the comfort of the ride and the space offered. I find both cars great. Furthermore, the question of the engine choice comes up. Currently I have a 3 litre 6 cylinder diesel in the BMW. Engine is good, but nevertheless I feel it in the interior very loud. The car is also too hard for me. But it is also due to the 225 front and 255 rear on 18 inches. I don’t want that anymore! In the E-Class I thought about the 300 /350 variant. With the C-Class there are only 200,220 and 250, as we know all 4 cylinders. I wonder, are the 4 cylinders of the Mercedes very loud ? At BMW this is an absolute impression, according to my feeling. Especially in the interior! On the one hand I want good dynamics at 120-200 km/h, on the other hand I would also welcome a pleasant to low fuel consumption. The vehicle is used exclusively in local/urban traffic with occasional motorway traffic But primary in the urban area. How does the E class behave with the 4 cylinders diesel? Always keep in mind that the plenty of drinks, because they just don’t get away from the stain. Hot, you have to give a lot more gas to get ahead and thus force a high fuel consumption. Although I am in the Mercedes car dealership every 2 weeks, I still don’t come to a decision. The sellers always say what you want to hear and above all, every seller says something else. It. What are your experiences ? What do you find as a better choice ?

Macan hastily ordered – What would you do?
The following situation: I live in Switzerland and have ordered a Porsche Macan in Germany via an import company. The Macan will be put in front of my house in Zurich on March 1, 2015. The 1st of March 2015 was chosen because the financing of my current car expires on March 1, 2015. All bureaucratic border modes are handled by the company. Macan new price: CHF 125k Price via import company: CHF 102.7k Savings: CHF 22.3k Listens to so far supe r. Now, however, came a colleague who, together with a few others, gets 20% discount at a BMW dealer. One about (I know guys, a BMW is not a Porsche, but that’s not the point here) similarly strong BMW X3 (306hp R6 instead of 340hp V6) with absolute full equipment would cost me only CHF 77k (including 3 years of service/pneuchange). A saving in good quality the Macan of CHF 25k! Now I asked at the import company how the situation regarding a resignation from the K of course, the company said that a withdrawal according to the obligation law is only possible after payment of a deduction sum of 15% of the vehicle new price. For me, of course, a clear exclusion criterion. Therefore, I have the following three options: 1.) I stay with the Macan and renounce a CHF 25k cheaper, if not as horny car 2.) I pay CHF 15k discount amount…forget it 3.) I offer the Macan at Autoscout24 with a discount of 18% and hope for a buyer (risk) What would you do in my situation if you would like to withdraw from the purchase? Has anyone already had similar experiences or would suggest a solution?

Driver seeks car up to ~300€
Hello together, I passed my practical driver’s license exam yesterday and am now looking for a car. I set my budget at 3000 €. Of course less 😉 With a top offer you can make 2, 300 € more relaxed… As a silent reader of the forum, I know for this budget the most sensible standard proposals. (Astra G, Ford Focus etc.). My favorite is currently the Astra G, but am open for everything. Unfortunately I have no idea of cars, can only swe r judge what a good offer is and what is not, bargains or mogelpacks, what you have to pay attention to… unfortunately also no car cracks, which can help me…. After first search on mobile and autoscout (region Ruhrgebiet. Bochum, Herne, Essen, Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen…) I found this car, which sounds very good for me as a layman:http://bit.ly/1cuKyFt Is this something from the overall package? And is it useful, such a used car check at the Dekra/A DAC/TÜV etc.? Well, I would be happy if the local experts, who have already helped many people in the search, could take a look at the car and possibly bring in a few suggestions/offers.

Buy Golf VII- common practice on payment?
Hallihallo, I would like to hear your opinion on the following: We wanted to buy a golf7, get test runs, get concrete offer, my Scirocco Built. 2009, almost 80000 km at VW put on the yard, so that I would be told at what price a payment would follow. Unlodious one day before this date the cart started to make funny noises and one has determined the following: Turbocharger shaft fixed control chain slangs tax slips over 4 bar diff compression. Z For this effort, the gentlemen would like to have 1200 euros from me. So I’d like to summarize: My 5 year old Scirocco is a scrap pile, I’m still so stupid to stand at VW again and buy a new car and you want to take off 1200 euros first to see what’s broken at all. Is this common practice??? Or should I rather take my legs in my hand? Look forward to your opinions!

C-Class should give way to compact SUVs – which test drives?
Hello dear motor talker! I am looking for a “high seater”, which is to replace a C200 compressor (184ps). Now I wanted to ask here which models you can recommend especially with the following conditions: – New car, to emergency annual car up to 30,000€, gladly also significantly less – petroler with at least 150ps – Large, comfortable seats (drivers over 2m) – Lots of space in front, comfortable entrance – climate control – seat heating – cruiser – parking pieper – electric seat adjustment (with memory radio) (quiet and stable) So far, my test drive list includes: – VW Tiguan and Sportvan (no SUV, but “high” – Ford Kuga – Hyundai ix35 (very cheap!) – Volvo XC60 (just over budget) – Audi Q5 Which models are missing in the list? And which models do not meet my criteria? I hope you can help an ignorant person before I get hit by the car. LG, Fuqan!

When’s mine gonna get away?
Hello guys, I’m the owner of a twingo from 2001 with currently 135,000 km on the speedometer. Unfortunately, I have the feeling that the car eats me up from maintenance and repair – so it is slowly becoming too much for what it offers. Since I am represented on fuel monitor and like to write down everything: https://www.spritmonitor.de/de/detailview/649108.html What do you say about it? Driving until is no more or comes at some point the day my thought “Now is so much done, there can be nothing more broken” is true? Unfortunately, 2 new tires are due in winter, but the car never leaves you in the lurch and the place is simply unsurpassed: 2 people, big dog and suitcase – no problem. Another small remark: I find it amazing, however, how a car with so few kilometers can look so worn out in the interior (armatures stick from the softtouch (how do you get on that) and the steering wheel is pulled off) – that was scho n at 90000 km. Is that so with most small cars, as they are so cheap? For me 200000 km are actually nothing if you look at some other cars. If it does not fit here, it may be moved gladly

Which retailer to choose for new purchase?
On the Internet there are two new car intermediaries that offer higher discounts than the local dealers. In my case when buying a Kangoo the purchase price difference is 5.8% or about 1,200.00 EUR. However, the distance to the dealer to be brokered is approx. 120 km. So I would save 1,200 EUR at the purchase price, but would have to drive 240 km each time for warranty work or other service such as small customer service adjustments etc. I am thinking about whether a place close dealer with workshop in about 3 km distance is worth 1,200 EUR. Dear motor friends, how would you decide? Thank you for your opinions! Dieter

Sports alternative to BRZ/Gt 86
Good afternoon, I would like to buy a new car in the near future because my old BMW has become a bit too tired for me. I tried a GT86 some time ago and was thrilled, however, it is still a bit too sluggish for me. I would like something sporty but it should not cost more than 28,000€. What else would there be for alternative cars? The car should have at least 2 emergency seats, 250hp or more, no more than 60,000km down and should not be older than BJ2015. not to be too expensive in maintenance, don’t want to live at the limit Would you like to stay with the rear drive, but is not a must… I currently still have the Golf R/GTI Clubsport or i30N on the screen, the pleasures with quite good but unfortunately no rear drive. A BRZ with turbo or compressor conversion would be quite awesome, but what about the everyday fitness? Am every brand open for now. Do you have any suggestions, perhaps with experiences?

Search cheap project car for fun and experience
To my current situation: A buddy and I now want to get even more experience in the field and have a lot of fun. For this we want to buy a super cheap car and make it as cheap as possible quickly. I am currently driving a Skoda Fabia 1.2 with 60hp, this is great to drive to the daily (low maintenance costs). Since the performance potential here is quite low, it makes little sense to take the car as a base. Since we have time we would also have to use a The turbokits should then be super cheap (I’m talking about the 500€) Well thought-out cars: Civic 6th generation <- super cheap turbokits and are known for making Honda Del Sol <- like the Civic BMW E36 <-- denr 316/318i you get thrown afterwards, so far I have only found turbokits in the range 1.5k and they are then for the 323i Seat Ibiza 1.9TDI <-- has already a turbo, here could then an upgrade loader pure, software better cooler and d I don't have much to say yet, but I'm supposed to have a pretty horny engine that can take a lot of boost, not to forget the 5 cylinder sound. I'm very grateful for further ideas, suggestions for improvement and tips.

Help with car purchase/decision
Hello, I’m still driving a VW Polo 6N2, which needs to be replaced. I drive about 12km to work every day, mainly rural road and in the city. Highway rather rarely. The car should be as economical as possible in maintenance / consumption, reliable, not prone to repair and “stable” / safe. A small “women’s car” that comes into every parking space and does not have all too much PS. My wish would be a touch display with USB and Navi/ mobile phone connection. I’m looking for a well-used car for about 8.000€. Models that would be interesting to me from an optical point of view: -Opel Adam 1.2 Jam (69 hp) -Opel Corsa E Selection 1.2 (69 hp) -Audi A1 1.2 TFSI (86 hp) -Seat Ibiza 1.4 16V (86 hp) Unfortunately, I can only visually evaluate these cars and have no experience with technical things and engines. Maybe someone could help me with the selection? Which car would be the best choice and what do you have “reasonable” g or are there other cars in question? I am totally overwhelmed and grateful for every answer. I thank you already in advance for the answers.
