  • Combi or SUV up to 33.000€

Hello, there’s a change of vehicle in 9 months, the first child is coming soon and we’re looking for a suitable successor for our BMW 1. The premises: Up to now there were on the list: Golf Highline Variant 1.5 TSI, Seat Leon ST and Skoda Octavia 1.4 or 1.8 TSI. The Ford Focus Combi was also an option, but found it narrower in the interior than the above mentioned and the successor comes a few months too late. I find the Mazda 6 class, but in the desired equipment it’s relatively expensive , the automatic is from the day before yesterday and the insurance classification is a grey one… The Skoda Superb offers in my opinion even the best overall package, but is still compared to expensive and large. Now I was not a fan of SUV’s, the Skoda Karolq did it to my wife and me. Will also look at the Seat Ateca in advance. Advantage of the vehicles are the manageable vehicle length, the nevertheless spacious interior and the trunk size is also almost at the level of the above-mentioned combo. My question Kombi vs. SUV and especially about the above-mentioned models, is generally addressed to forenusers who were faced with a similar decision and can report. Alternatives can be shown, but I think I know the market quite well. I am happy about your contributions…

  • Fun car – what is it?

Hi together, I’m just thinking if I give away my Subaru SVX and get myself a fun car for which there are a little more spare parts. I love my SVX, but I have already 2 pieces with gear damage at home, although I have never tortured it. What I want: – Coupe – more 3.0 liters / 6 cylinders / more than 200hp – All-wheel – circuit – Mega equipment – age doesn’t matter, I like old cars – should be something special – not wrong, What I don’t want: NoGo brands: BM W, Mercedes, Skoda, VW, Opel Don’t have to: Audi I honestly don’t find anything that can replace a Subaru SVX. Villeicht has someone an idea? thank you, and greeting!

  • Buying advice diesel, gasoline, LPG?

Hello, I would like to buy a “new” (used) car. It should be an SUV / compact SUV and above all reliable, and must have a trailer load of at least 1800 kg. Now I am particularly uncertain about the current diesel topic whether it should become a gasoline, diesel or perhaps even converted to gas petrol… Because I do not want to have unnecessary high fuel costs. To my driving profile: I drive 18 km to work daily (one way), additionally a few short hours during the day ken in the city but also over land, sometimes sometimes 15 to 25 km, and about every one to 2 months around 60 km. In the year I come on about 18000 km, maybe also more. And I move at least 2 times a week a trailer, approx. 1100 kg, 1x only about 2 km a way and regularly also continue, so 15 to 40 km. Besides, I like to drive a little more briskly If I charge for petrol and diesel is worth a diesel for me. But I am not sure if I do not have too much short distance for What about Euro 6 diesels? E.g. a Mazda CX 5 or supposedly economical gasoline engines, like the Ford Kuga 1.6 Ecoboost? I was told that the Kuga could be converted to gas without any problems. That would be an alternative if it consumes too much fuel… So, what would you advise me to do? I look forward to your answers.

  • Allrounder for commuting for 6-8k searched

Hello, I am currently looking for a new used one. My driving profile currently looks like this: – work path (5x a week) about 42 km easy, of which about 32 km highway/road and 10 km city traffic – Total about 25-28,000 km per year My requirements: – Budget: Between 6000 and 8000 Euro – petrol – Enough space to transport even a few things – As far as possible no stepback limousine because of the unfavourable loading height, but is not necessarily exclusion criterion – Kom bi of the compact class would also be possible if not too clunky/large – automatic would be great, especially because of the tough flowing stop and go traffic in the city, but is not a must, since it would probably restrict the selection in my budget too much – compact class at least 100 hp, if larger then accordingly more – A minimum of comfort should be available. I am very spoiled in this regard, since I previously drove BMW and Mercedes. I am ready here to make compromises, the descent sol The most important thing for me is that I come to work reliably. Therefore, the model should not be too vulnerable and should not have big quirks. Workshop stays with me are always critical and annoying, because I live in the country and don’t come anywhere without a car. I don’t really care about the model and brand, as long as reliability is given and it is not too exotic. What would you recommend me most with my driving profile?

  • Which BMW little fuel 130 on the highway

Hello dear Motortalker, I am looking for a second car to my A6 2.4l Avant. I will mostly use the car on the motorway at 130km/h on long distances. From time to time also faster, but rather rare. Combi is not necessary, but very good comfort to be still fit after 1000km in one day, as with my A6. A gasoline is more appropriate. Automatic is a must. 6 resp. 8 cylinders would be great, but consumption is more important. I would like a BMW, since I always thought, B MW represents the more efficient cars: E46/E39 or e38. Are of course not the same classes, but what is important to me is a travel car with a fuel consumption of up to 8-9liter at 130 on the highway. I suspect that an E46 is not so the long-haul machine and that the e38 does not come under 10l (738i maybe?) Does a 520 at 130 consume less than a 523 or 528? I made myself smart on spritmotor.de, but the consumption is also very dependent on the driving behaviour n. Are there some of us here who are travelling comfortably on the highway with E38 or e39 and have measured their consumption times? Who can give me one, please? Many greetings Ludwik

  • Ford S-Max/Galaxy

Hello together, after weeks of sorting and weighing up, rehearsal ride with fun and without fun, funny experiences at dubious dealers, rather frightening experiences at other dealers, we are now sure. We (soon 5-member family with dog) want an S-Max with 7 seats. Since we will be tearing away in the year only about 10tkm, mainly overland and highway, we push to the petrolers – but are also not averse to the diesel, however, we are somewhat afraid that the Euro4- Diesel is worth nothing more in 2 years. Our budget is at a maximum of 10,000 euros, but better would be a vehicle between 7000 and 8500 euros. Samples have been driven so far the 2.0 Duratec – pleasant driving, but somehow I lacked the 6th gear. But of course would be ready for compromise. Alternative would be only the 2.5l Turbo, 5-cylinder, an engine to which you fall in love. Unfortunately anything but economic – nevertheless I would access there if I had a favorable and adequately maintained f inden. Tax for the 2.0er 135 Euronen, for the 2.5er 168 €, insurance incl. partial cascade and discount protection is the 2.5er even by 7 Euro cheaper, wonder why. Since the prices on the used car market make hardly any difference between petrolers and diesels and thus the purchase price bonus for the petroler usually falls away, we would get the higher insurance and tax even at 10tkm by cheaper consumption and price of the diesel. I would like to have an AHK, a cruise control and a seat heater. Tomorrow I will look at a few cars with my wife and take a little trip to Bavaria. At the top of the list:Ford S-Max 2.5 with AHK, 5750€ Ask me why this vehicle is so cheap. Before we go there I want to get some more information by phone. Presumably not to do any tuv and repairs. However, the price is tempting. But probably not a cruise control… Should we go down there, we d also this one looks at:Ford S-Max TDci My favourite, however, contrary to any common sense:Ford S-Max 2,5, 9999€ Or this one, but 2 hours driving time in the completely different direction:Ford S-Max 2.0 On the way we also look at this one (service due, rust control negative), and this one (also funny!) look at it.

  • C with comfort seats away and SLK here?

Hello to the round, I’m about to make a difficult decision for my next ‘toy’. My C 220 CDI has now reached its 100000 and fits me so well, also has comfort seats and I commute 120 km daily with it. But since now about 2-3 years my friend and I move around at a SLK. First he wanted to drive a SLK and told me 3 years ago I should not take a C, but a SLK as a daily driver, parallel to that he has a C class with AHK. Now, 3 years later, the thought of a roadster is very itchy. And I seriously think about changing my C against the SLK 250CDI with optional equipment. First, that would be something quite different, but second, I have sports seats. My friend then buys another C of the 205 series with comfort snaps. A lordose support can be bought and that doesn’t even look terrible. Otherwise, the question: Would you change?

  • Review Offer VW Caddy requested

Good evening! We’ve been looking for a new family car for a long time. After many test drives, comparisons and considerations, it now seems to run into a VW Caddy in a Van/Kombi equipment. We have already received corresponding offers for new cars. However, the budget is also happy about a few saved euros. Now we have come across the following offer today and will look at the car tomorrow: VW Caddy used I would very much like a pa ar opinions are happy about this offer. What do you think is critical/to be considered/or also totally super? 🙂 On equipment is important to us park sensors at the rear (and preferably also at the front), air conditioning, roof railing, radio with CD and AUX (preferably also with hands-free). Also a luggage compartment separation net, but that seems rather difficult with the used ones. So it seems to fit quite well from the equipment. But maybe there are special weak points? Many D ank for your help!

  • Combi for about 10k Euro

Tach Together, I need a new car. At the moment I drive a T4 Multivan from ’93 with 330Tkm. Until next September I still have Tüv, but am not convinced to drive the car as long as still. The reperatures and unreliability of the car bother me. I would like to buy a T5, but they are currently too expensive for me. I drive by car to work every day, 20km a distance of 90% BAB. Holiday approx. 2x in the year 1500km total. Location Aachen. Maybe I would also ne Upgrade the trailer coupling to drive with my father’s wowa, is a small one with 1To zGG. I imagined a decent combination, up to about 10k€. If I expect to get 1500-2000€ for the bus with a dealer, are also 12k included. With brands I am quite flexible, VW and Volvo are nice, I don’t like Mercedes at all. Sowas?http://suchen.mobile.de/…/202005184.html ( ok, costs so 13.700, would be so just ok – a bit of room for manoeuvre is definitely in) Nav i don’t need it, he doesn’t have a parking pager for it. Do you need it at the passat?http://suchen.mobile.de/…/199194675.html Anyone else good ideas? Thank you, Jochen

  • Transition car for 4 weeks as cheap as possible – or car rental

Servus, my special needs a car for 4 weeks in April, because his new car only comes later than the lease runs out from the old. He just has to go to work and back again every day about 30km. In the car rental he already asked, at Buchbinder they want to buy a cucumber for the cheapest class on the day 23€, (Fiesta, Corsa…) I thought the bookbinder would be the discounter among the car rental companies…. I think it is better to buy a cucumber here for about 700€ and this one after de 4 weeks to get a little shot, and repel again, right? Think, there could be a little win in the end, right?? Who has experiences here?? Looking forward to your info.
