Dear Motor-Talk Forum, a great request for advice to you!Short background: I am 20 years old, am currently doing an apprenticeship and still going to work. This brings me to a net earnings of around 1 000€. Expenditures for mobile phones, memberships like Netflix, Spotify, Amazon Prime, etc. amount to about 200€ per month. Since I do something here and there, however, I would like to reckon with 250€ to 300€ monthly costs. In the “worst” case, I remain al so “only” 700€ net. I usually do not have expenses for rent, meals, etc.. Currently I drive a Mercedes-Benz C180, BJ 09/2000, i.e. model series W202. I bought it for 1 800€, 1st hand from an old lady. The car is very well maintained, however, has many rust spots, which even go beyond the known and typical places. Furthermore, I have to invest about 250€ in the car so far (car has been in my possession for 3 months) and must be made: – Egg The front brake linings at the wear limit – brake hoses at the rear porous – replacement lock tailgate (“Comfort problem”, as lock only does not work electr.) The fart in my head: A mix of frustration about the upcoming costs and the fact that it is my dream car, I would like to buy a new car now. To be exact a CLK 320 CDI Coupé, BJ 02/2009. On the used car side of Mercedes-Benz there is a vehicle, which in terms of equipment corresponds to 98% of what I would like to have. The only shortcoming that the vehicle has to show is the purchase price of 14 500€. A financing with a deposit of 2 000€ (the expected proceeds of my current car) and 54 months duration I come to 257,36€ per month. The effective annual interest rate of 4.99% or nominal interest rate of 4.88% amounts to a total amount of 15 897,44€. Everyone around me (parents, girlfriends, acquaintances) is trying to get this idea out of my head. In some respects, I am also aware that the decision is very unreasonable. However, I love this car and can’t think of anything else. I am constantly trying to get the high cost (not to forget the increased car tax, the damned high insurance, because it’s mandatory) with my passion for the vehicle to r My question to you: Am I completely through and should I see that I am treated as soon as possible, or do you see a way to justify my project in any way? A special appeal applies to the parents here on Motor-Talk. I thank you very much in advance and hope for a constructive discussion!

Cash purchase or rather finance
Hello, so I’m mainly asking for my mother, but I’m also interested in later. I’ve already been looking here but I didn’t really think so. she wants to get a new car. there are now 2 possibilities. 1. she’s looking for a used car, which is 2 years old and pays for it in cash. (about 40000 km) advantage: you have lost the biggest mountain value behind you. you can say what the workshop statistics look like. the car is called his property. technique not so up to date. compromise in equipment, motorization etc… guarantee not so high(if at the dealer) 2. she gets a new one and finances it. advantage: you can choose the color, equipment, etc. higher guarantee. technology more up to date. after the financing can you return the car?? after: loss of value is high. you can have with the pitch, because of repair costs… sure other points. then ask yourself. if you finance the car and it would like to give after zb 3 years, then come still cost to one too? I think zb of small scratchers or other small things that a used car always has. must/should one always take a full cascade with financing? how is it with the normal expectations? must the financing take place in a contract workshop? gruß micha

Financing VW Golf incl. insurance… Discount negotiable? is the offer okay?
Hello municipality, as I have already described here, soon a financing for a Golf V is available. My question is now in how far it is possible to negotiate out a few more discounts. I have the following offer available: VW Golf V 1.9 TDI 105 PS with particle filter and including VW own insurance: deposit: 2,000 € Monthly rate: 243 € Final rate depending on final equipment ca 8.000 € Duration: 48 months Interest rate: 0.9% No compulsion to buy the car after 4 years. I find the interest rate is very okay and think the offer is not bad, right???? The insurance is already included at the monthly rate. I don’t have to register the vehicle myself. Why is this advantageous for me is described in my contribution from the insurance subforum. To what extent can I hope that I can get out a few % before ordering the vehicle and thus save a little money? Is this generally possible with financing? I thank you already in advance greeting Spone

Service vehicle of total bullshit?
Evening, dear MotorTalk-Comunity. My old Opel Astra is beginning to give up my mind and I am thinking of leasing a new car. Now the question arises, Privatleasing or the AG asks for a company car [eleast]. So, as far as I understand, I finally pay everything in gross for private leasing alone.Basic question/invoices: I pay for private leasing [jeep compass]: 290€/month Beim Gewerbeleasing [ über AG ] : 245€/month That would ultimately be So I save 55€ in total. However, I still have the very high private use. So the 1% rule. List value: 31000€ €310€ per month extra? That means I pay for this car 555€ month instead of 290€? I can of course deceive myself, am completely new to this matter and just look for your help.

PrivateLeasing Mercedes
Hi, this is my first post here, after I’ve only been reading for a long time. I have suffered a total damage to my current leasing vehicle due to an accident, whereby the leasing company has exempted me from having the car repaired or to terminate the contract prematurely. Current car: Audi A3 Limousine 1.4 TFSI 125PS If I don’t have the car repaired, then I have to pay a residual amount of about 200 € and the leasing takes care of the rest. Advantage due to the accident with the total damage: Previous damages and stone strokes will also be paid with these 200 € according to the leasing, I can simply choose a new car. Now I have obtained an offer from MB for a new car C 200 Coupe (current model, so not what comes in July). Advance payment: 4000€ Duration: 36 months KM: 20,000 p.a. Leasing rate: ca. 370€ plus maintenance package 36€ + insurance 79€. Effective annual rate: -8.91% List price car incl. transfer cost : approx. 53,600€ For my current car I pay about 330€ per month at leasing rate including insurance and maintenance package. Here was the deposit however 3000€ + 42 months duration and 17,500 km p.a.. My question now is, which alternatives to this offer exist and whether this is a good offer from your point of view? I need a car as soon as possible and unfortunately have no time to wait for a self-configured one. What is important to me: – Flexibility (I can speak to La – Service (no unforeseeable costs, which are not covered by e.g. maintenance package / guarantee) – A contact person in case of damage and handling about this thank you already once! Financing yes or no?
Moin, since I don’t know about cars at all, I hope for constructive advice here. Briefly to our situation: I (24) and my partner (26) have been living in the countryside with our daughter for about 5 months. We quickly found that without our own car mobility is very limited. The bus only feels that every leap year is passing and constantly parents are driving by, we just don’t find it tingling. Even if they like to do it A car m We are currently living on a salary because I am still working on my master’s thesis. I’m through next year in March. After deduction of all fixed costs, we have 700 euros left. Can we use this sum to finance a car? With everything that is included in it?We want to spend a maximum of 5000 euros on the car. As soon as I find something as a scientific employee or win the jackpot at the lottery^^, we want to treat ourselves to a new car. We don’t want a car for 10,000 euros first, because a) b) we are both beginners. We made the driver’s license so late, because you just don’t need it in the city. Oh yes, a down payment would not be in there unfortunately, i.e. the car would have to be fully financed. What kind of financing would be suitable for us?And if we were already there, which used car model would be recommended?

Vario financing via Audi Bank – Problem car dealership
Hello together, after a long time back and forth I decided to finance an annual car through a car dealership, because the current interest rate is extremely attractive with 0.99%. The car is financed by Vario financing. I make a down payment of 6,375.00 € and have a monthly rate of 313.00 € (incl. ServiceComfort – maintenance and wear). The closing rate is 30.000.00 €. I drive 30,000 KM a year and therefore the car would be reduced with almost 100,000 – 105,000 KM. The vehicle is an Audi A5 2.0 TDI Quattro with a current sales value of 45,000 euros and a mileage of 5,800 KM. Now I have looked at the last annual reports and balance sheets of the car dealership. In 2017, the car dealership had a year’s deficit of more than 700,000 € to be estimated, and sales have also decreased. According to the company’s current management report, the forecast for this year looks better. Well, you never know. My problem is now that In case the car dealership registers insolvency, I would have to buy the car from the Audi Bank for 30,000 euros. In my modest assessment, I find the estimated residual value too high. I would definitely like to reject the car at the end of the 36 months and would not get 30,000 euros more for a 3 year old car with a mileage of 100,000 – 105,000 KM. Thus, the residual value makes me currently stutzig, since I do not like at the end of the term, in case of a possible insolvency of the Au tohaus, 5.000 Euro or similar much burn. Perhaps also my assessments are wrong and the residual value blows about like this. I would be pleased about opinions. Many greetings

Sixt Leasing to dust cheaper
Hello friends, short to me : I am 18 and would like to get a car. A big problem here is the insurance. At Sixt Leasing there is a comprehensive insurance that can run on my father; with which I can then move the car. This would cost me only 64€ a month with a polo. Problem is the leasing rate of 4% at the polo. Is there any way to press it ? Lg

Company cars for employees
Hello dear, I’m looking for a company car for a potential employee. He wants a CLA – not 180, however. Best as a shootingbrake, Coupé would be fine. My specifications are as follows: – BLP maximum 40.000€, so that his deductions are not too high. – Leasing rate maximum 300€ net. – possibly with offers for “all-inclusive” stories (service, tyres, …) The good drives 15,000km annually. A bit of special equipment should be in there, but nothing frequent driving It’s not because it’s him – except for the Italian holiday – can you help me?

LEASING – ÄRGER with car dealership
Hello dear community, I may have a big problem with my car dealership. We leased a car 3 years ago and wanted to switch to another manufacturer. After we had asked several times 2 weeks before the end of the contract and also until the new car finally arrived say and write 14 times a request on the bill, because we wanted to buy the old car and the new car dealership wanted to buy it. So I agreed with my new consultant that he transfers the amount directly to the old lessor and has also communicated this to the old car dealership in this way. As of today, after 33 mails and 14 calls they could not give us any correct information about the processing of the purchase until today although the contract has already expired on !!!15.06.!!!. Today then the consultant calls me and says he wants to return the car immediately, because otherwise he has to report. The car is currently well protected on the yard of the new Atohaus. Wi e is that now what can happen to me ? I have all the mails and phone calls documented and picked up. Of course I still want to buy the car and am still ready to pay the price. We actually only lack the invoice. Thank you fpr the help Greetings Steffen
