Hi, My Audi 80 Type 81 has unfortunately only n u-kat, and accordingly costs 405€ tax in the year. I found a g-kat retrofit kit for 240€, but now I wonder how all this affects consumption/performance. In my search I found only a few leuts that have expanded an existing g-kat, and thus gained more power with less consumption (allegedly). Does this mean in reverse that my motor – which is not for operation with g-kat was constructed – thus swallowing more at the end, and doing less? he needs a relatively large amount with 8-9 liters anyway. quattro drift experiences

Audi 80 AAH does not jump anymore

B3: squeak at VA when warm; but saddle not firm

clapping on 5th cylinder no oil pressure ng engine

Rust despite full galvanizing???
Recently I saw an Audi 100 (C4) in white, in which there were clear rust damage on the wheel cut-outs at the front and back as well as on the door edges. I knew so far only about rust-scatters à la Vectra or Omega. How can that be? The C4 is fully galvanized! How can you get it to rust? I have an 80 B4, Built 93, on which is not the smallest rust stain on the body (and that after this salty winter) is a mystery to me!
