  • 2.5TDi starts, goes out, extreme soot formation!

    Servus dear forum! I gave my hot-loved C4 nem colleague today, he comes back tonight, it clacks out of the engine room.. I turned him off and let him go again, he starts off again, he doesn’t react to the pedal at all… After 5-10 times he arrives.. After another 3-seconds he picks up gas and runs as usual, however, he leaves off a 3x3m soot cloud… Only with these clackers… I checked the injection pump tooth strap, tension is already ok… The whole thing is only when it’s cold!!! If he already runs as always, he starts off once GANZ short and then runs optimally… Except for ugly metallic clackers… That would not even bother me with the start, but this crappy clacking? Do you have a guess? Get him read out in the store tomorrow… I am grateful for every tip!

  • Still problems with the automatic system (Aui80)

    Hello I turn to you again. So….I had my automatic gearbox repaired, in December 2010. But the error always comes up for……I drive over 60kmh, and when I brake or take my foot off the gas there is a slight jerk at 50kmh(there he would have to switch back a gang), as soon as that happens he doesn’t turn up anymore, then I have to turn the car right and turn it off again and then it goes again. Now he was already 4 times in this workshop where the gearbox was repaired and they always fix what the error occurs again and again, but that doesn’t every day. At the last time the fault memory said ABS sensor….he was then switched and they said that it should be now…but I had the same error now already … error memory in my workshop is not read out?… gang monitoring error code 652. Now my question can be that it is again my automatic transmission, because someone else said it was so and that it was paid as if the top gear was not going through this week.

  • Climate and fuel consumption

    Hi Leuts, has someone here a clue what such a climate in the switched off condition makes of more consumption? Have in my Avant ne climate, no automatic, in it (was apparently retrofitted by a previous owner, because VAG has no documents about it according to chassis no.). The thing is with me anyway most of the time out of operation, unless it gets really unbearably hot. Since no automatic machine, the thing is used therefore only in the summer, in the winter is conventionally heated. Is now just the question, what the compressor in idle, thus switched off climate still eats in power and fuel. Consideration is to put on the belts to the climate then really only over the summer months …….. my contribution to relieve the environment …….. or also my money bag The search function unfortunately has nothing to do with this topic.

  • Fuel pump is not controlled

    I need urgent help for two days my Audi 80 V6 bj 92doesn’t jump anymore it’s somewhere to drive the fuel pump when I turn on the ignition I don’t hear any buzzing… when I connect the pump to 12 volts runs the boom ?? Can it lie at the subsequently built-in immobilizer ? It was already installed… The KP relay is also fine … what can it be for? Do you have a circuit diagram ? Greetings Chris

  • Dissolve central gear screw

    Hello, since I have to change the left drive shaft with my Audi 80 2.0E with ABK engine (with ABS). I tried to solve the central screw between the 4 other wheel screws as first, after which I sprayed something with rust solver and WD40 before. Then I tried first with the ratchet, then with a long torque wrench, then with a handshake wrench and finally with an air pressure impact wrench tried to get the thing up. But no success. If someone had a good advice for me like I could still try it? Wouldn’t be spraying with WD40 for two more days now, and then if the car was not moved (because of the heat) try again to release… with friendly greetings

  • Mobile 0W30 or 0W40 ??

    Good morning Dear community, Once again there is a theme about motor oil, of course, such topics are already too high, but I have not yet been answered a question (or I really haven’t found it) . Since I want to make an oil change in predictable time and I now tend towards mobile: Is the 0W30 really worth it or is the 0W40 already more than enough? What are the most striking differences of these two synt. oils? Move my audio currently with 5w40 GoldSynt of Gamaparts –> AMAG oil (Audi, VW and Co. representation in Switzerland) thank / gruss

    Hello, have sold my B4 today. Is an export dealer for 500 Euro – more was not in it. Until the end of the month it must be delivered. Fascit after 11 years: a nice car, reliable and absolutely everyday traffic. Much to craft, because the standard equipment is not so complete Even the BC gets built in! But now comes into the years and all parts age nicely with. Will be ever more to fix, axle bearings for example make already funny noises. After family increase we are now 4 and you just need space. My “new” is a BMW E83, which is now 4 years old. Unfortunately, the Q5 prices are too high, I would have liked to take – next time… The spare parts, which have collected over the time you get super sold in the bay.   • Problems with V6 2.8l AAH

    Hello guys, I’ve got a problem with my 2.8l V6 automatic again… Slowly I get the car so annoying So the following: The other night on the highway, it was easy downhill, he just shut down at Streit 200, no km/h more. Today on the highway it went up the mountain, 1km approx. 8% climb, 4th gear at 190km/h Kick-Down, see there, what makes the Audi, always slow down, he went down in the third gear to 180 about and then he stayed up the mountain, then it went quite “normal” again. Normal is with my car: Accelerate up to 100km/h approx. 13,5sec. If you want to speed up e.g. from 80km/h and you give three-quarters of gas then he only jerks lightly, with acceleration but not much, only if you know then again about the kick-down point he accelerates again. In addition, the fuel consumption is also with about 13l, it’s a bit more sadly. So with the acceleration is not a bit faster for me.

  • Cooling water hose V8, 3.6liter

    Moin moin all together. I want to get a V8 on weekends. Unfortunately I have no possibility to pick it up with a trailer and therefore have to drive it. With the Audi a cooling water hose is broken and that is the one that goes to the water pump. Can one give me the article number and maybe a picture of it? Which hose is still sitting there near because the current owner did not yet know if it is. Would be great if I got an answer quickly because I still have to get it until the weekend. Greeting Nils

  • 2,3E NG Whistles after overheating

    Hello people, I’m going to need your help again, or a good advice, and a few answers to my questions. I’ve got the tuner on my cabrio, 2,3E engine identification NG, cooling water or all the liquid. A friend of the motor mechanic has done the repair. Unfortunately, the cooling circuit was not properly ventilated, the ventilation screw on the second circuit was not opened. (Plastic screw on the hose) At 95 ridges, what has never been achieved before, many the complete board electronics, board computer, combi instrument as well as the additional instruments are off. (Safety is gone) We were then stopped briefly and then still about 2km driven. After that, in the empty run the gas went up and down, the speed changed from idle turnaround approx. 750 to about 1400 rpm. At the gas, the engine did not stop from the KW-stopping afterwards, the open cooling water tank bubbling like crazy and I’m the opinion it all came out of coolant and destyled water, what was filled.
