  • poltern while driving

    Hello I have the problem that it accelerates with my car when it’s stronger or slows down for a short time than if something is loose! if it’s poltert when it’s braking because it’s there again when it’s going on! if I quickly steer it too! had the car already on a stage but could not find anything except the 2 rubber rings on both sides were torn at the top of the dom camp! can that be the poltert? if so why is it poltert when it’s driving?

  • Audi 90 2.3 NG Engine problem

    Tach auch, I have a mediocre problem, which robs me of the last nerve! When I start the car the first time, it starts immediately, and runs so a minute with slightly increased speed (about 1200-1300 1/min)! After that it collects to about 400 1/min, and I have to play constantly with the gas pedal, which it does not drain me! Last I go gas, want to drive away again, the goat no longer wants to jump on! Try, try and try again, no more went! after about 15 min he jumped like And again the speed dumps at 400 1/min! On the advice of a mechanic I changed the distribution box and the distributor finger once (the old one had looked really bad), but brought nüschd! (well, 31€ are to be taken) In driving mode it runs really well, there is nothing to complain about! When we changed the hydros, WaPu and belts about 3 months ago, he ran still normal, than from that it can come less!   • Clamping roller blocked! Reason for timing belt teeth abrasion???

    Good evening together, I already opened a topic a few days ago (Audi broken 80 timing belts. Motor in the ass? HELP!!), tomorrow the ordered timing belt should come off today I noticed that the tensioning roller could not move a bit. It should do so, right? Could that have been the reason to block the tensioning roller for the abrasion of the timing belt teeth? The camshaft wheel can be easily however always cut (always ca n e 1/4 turn) but that’s correct, right? Does anyone else have a good tip for the timing belt exchange? I already have rough instructions. Thanks already for the answers.

  • B3 conversion 1.6 to 2.8

    Hello, have an old B3 bj.91 on which I very much hang! the car has installed a 1.6er mono-jettronic (or electric carburetor as it is sometimes called). goes quite well for its meanwhile 75 HP (5 over ori power thanks to small audio VSD instead of cat modification) only the thing should be really brought in. just because I still do this for my old master (who left me the car. i.e. he would really be happy about it if he gets his second spring) because a little bit of juice is supposed to be and also from the balance should be partly good – would I be for the 2.8 V6 from the B4. to reduce circumstances the fronti version. the 5 cylinder is unfortunately a bit more front-loading… cabling in the engine room keeps itself within limits with the 1.6er. the question is how does this look like with ECU. otherwise would be another alternative motor ne matter (proposals please… vll of the 16V fourzyli?) someone has already missed a B3 of another motor? of the further I search for a used thread over winter then (the conversion should come also in winter… first have to finish my Nissan) – would also exchange greetings for Weitec kit + money from the B3 driver + at the end of the picture ^^

  • Squeaking brakes

    Hello guys! That makes me crazy!!! My brakes squeaky like pig… I drive about 2 km, then it starts. I can’t even drive with an open window. Have already removed about 2 times the brakes and greased them with copper paste… But does not help. Does anyone have another suggestion? Have you heard anything about a component in the brake that is wrongly dimensioned from work, or something like that…? If you change that, should it go again?… Please help, I’ll be mad otherwise! …!!! Thank you! MfG shaf

  • Low oil pressure at 2.8 / V6

    .. who has experience with oil pressure. My machine (2.8/V6/AAH/’94/300tkm) worries me slowly. When starting, after a day of standstill, the engine noises very strongly in idle mode and the oil lamp burns; the oil pressure indicator is zero. This condition changes only by increasing the speed to approx. 2000rpm, then both disappears. In warm condition this does not occur. I then tested with the gas pedal at different speeds as follows. n Condition the values: – Idle speed approx. 1.8bar – 1500rpm approx. 3.0bar – starting from 2200rpm approx. 4.8 bar – constant to full throttle. I am aware that the display is inaccurate; but shows how the pressure course is at different speeds. What are the experience values for this machine? I believe the 2.6/V6 was built in a similar way. The whole vehicle is with 300tkm in an impeccable condition and I don’t want to let it break … Thanks for a tip. Greetings Andy

  • Mix oil with unknown oil??

    I checked the oil level again today and after about 4500 km I have to refill the oil. the problem is that I know that I did not know which oil the dealer used when changing the oil (was still done before the transfer), or maybe I don’t want to use it. so it is recommended to make another oil change now after only 4500 km to drive the oil that I want, or can I just tip one that suits me?? I am at the 50-100 € for a change of oil s If that’s better for the car, I’ll just do it…
