  • 80 B4 Consumption far too high

Hello guys, after a long abstinence I have a question here and I hope very much you can help me! My Audi 80 B4 with 115 hp (2.0) year 94 consumes always and always more. when I bought it a year ago, it was at 7,8 liters consumption. Now I am at over 10-11 liters. Drive every morning 15 kilometers into business and back in the evening (moderat road mode) Exhaust gas test I had made before 1st month. was top. Error code read also provided nothing. so what k Have you already had the same problem? Does the change of the Lambda probe bring what? Where and how can I measure the CO value … or is it due to something else? would be very grateful to you, because it is quite expensive! Oh, I have retrofitted a TWIN-Tec KLR but for a year now… is there the dog buried? Wekstatt said they can’t do anything, just exchange everything one after the other… but it’s too expensive for me, I can do that myself! so thank you again and hopefully Phil’s coming up with something!

  • Adi 80 B4… Coupling…

Hello guys, yesterday I looked at a silver-grey B4 limousine year 92 and tested. So far the vehicle is in a very good condition. 1 previous owner a Opi vintage 1924 and 148 Tkm. Price 2.000 Euro… Unfortunately the vehicle has no extras…such as central railing or elect. window lifter… Has only a power steering and an electr. sliding roof and reclassification to Euronorm 2. The test drive went very well… but what struck me is that the clutch very late I was told that this was normal at Audi… is that right?? Would I be happy if I gave you a brief description of your opinion. Since I am very interested in the vehicle.

  • S2 suspension, Powerflex sockets

Hello guys! The following: I have to change the socket in the rear gear support of the differential at the S2. (knock on load change) Since there is only the whole support to buy, I will press out the old socket and install a Powerflex socket. During conversion, of course, it is obvious to also replace the rubber metal bearings in the crossbars. The dinger is also available in the Kunstatoff Powerflex version -> www.fritz-motorsport.de/index.php Now my question: Is it really useful d The chassis will be tougher for sure, but is that good for the car? I mean, the rubber certainly has better damping than the PU socket. Not that then any vibrations are transferred to the body and it then comes to problems elsewhere. I hope you understand what I mean Did someone already install these sockets?

  • ATE Powerdisc hides too fast! Original??

Hello, last year I bought powerdiscs and coverings at the eBight ATE in January (99,90 the set for the VA) and had it installed in the workshop. Jetz today I cleaned the discs after the screws with brake cleaner and already think that the aba arg look worn out. And then the mechanic, who was standing next to it, thinks that the discs also soon sin… at the latest with the brake pads, rather earlier.. Where I told him that the disc is just as long on it is wi e the coverings – 1 year – did not come out of the astonishment.. and I look more closely at the coverings as well.. The coverings are still almost as thick as new, but the disc is already so rubbed off that the groove can hardly be seen! Has someone experienced this beautiful? Has anyone any idea if you can see somewhere on a 1 year old Powerdisc, if it is really original? I have to know if I have to throw the thing around the dealer or ATE around the ears mfg kaindl

  • Audi 100 2.8 AAH switching suction tube Question

Good day to everyone. I bought an Audi 100 2.8 AAH EZ:12.1991 with Tantarini LPG system last week. The following is what I have to do: The subject of the switch suction tube, I had an Audi 80 with AAH before and the switch suction tube turned off wonderfully. With the new switch it doesn’t at all. I looked at the cables and noticed the following The previous owner installed a cold running regulator and as it looks like he connected it wrong. Low pressure can from the SSR and from the throttle valve (small hole) a line goes to a T-piece and from there to the cold running regulator (bottom). And from the cold running regulator above a line goes to the engine block for the temperature sensing. Picture 1 I once drew THAT IS still FALSE So the SSR can’t switch. OR ??? I found the solenoid switch valve located below the LMM and there is also a cable connected blue and goes over to the????? I tried to unscrew the suction mount with the two 10 screws and tried to push it backwards to make it off but unfortunately I can’t. With my Audi 80 AAH it had enough bursts to the rear but with the Audi 100 I didn’t have a seat in the rear. I want to buy and connect new cables now. (what kind of a hose do I need?) Just how do I close it I found an ETKA picture and drew red and blue (picture 2) IS THAT RIGHT Do I have to pay attention to something else? Could it also be that the switching suction tube has somehow stuck because it certainly hasn’t switched for a few years. Should I somehow fix it or? As it is connected now it also pulls somehow wrong air that the car now has a bad idle it stutters in status. Thank you already in advance

  • Replace original C4 headrests with others?

Hello everyone! I’m writing here for the first time, so look for mr bite, if I don’t know all the threads and maybe I’m talking about an old THema; if that’s the case, I’d be grateful about the link (did not find it via the search function.) So… I’ve had an Audi 100 C4 quattro, year 92 since October, I’m also very satisfied and happy with it, but every time I see the headrests, I have to think about slingshot traumata. You know, these headrests with the hole in the M I would like to exchange them. Two questions: 1. Are there other, more meaningful headrests that fit on it? 2. If so, what are their names? 3. And how do you build them? Thank you! – Salvador

  • No lead free at the tank

Hi, I had to refuel today and had to find out that at DEA there is no lead-free anymore. Wasn’t there even something in the conversation the lead-free should be abolished. Since there was no lead-free I had to take Super, how does this affect the engine? Tank normally lead-free Ozzy

  • Winter -> smooth -> accident -> repair or scrap?

Nja nja jetz eats so far. Today my first accident on snow… I suspect that the B-pillar is somewhat warped, as well as the wheel box (slightly closed – not serious), because the driver’s door no longer closes completely. It hacks in and is lockable, but does not rest completely too… vll is this metal nipple slightly slanted, through the warped B-pillar. Inside the paneling of the B-pillar ́nun also has some air to breathe (2 mm gap) I also suspect that the door has to be changed. . Is that worth repairing? Door would cost me 50 euros, painting I don’t let warsch. How much does it cost to bend the frame again straight? <- is my biggest worry! Def. wirtsch. Total damage wg paint scraper and spoiled. Greetings, Korti P.S. Pictures I submit if I have the opportunity!
