  • The spoils of choice

Hello, I mentioned weeks ago that I wanted to repaint my competition. The vehicle was re-primanded and filled……… Now only the question arises: What color would you take?? I tend to LZ9U volcano black pearl or the blue from the RS as it was before.

  • NG only turns up to 3200 rpm

Moin, have problems with my Audi Cabrio NG! The engine only turns up to 3200 rpm! When it reaches 3200 rpm it starts to boom and starts to shake! Last year the Lamdo probe was made new! Have already cleaned the crankshafts and the throttle flap but no improvement! I already drove with clamped Lamda but also no improvement! Spark plugs , cables and ignition distributors are new! What else can that be! Greeting Stefan

  • Speedline rims still available ?

  • Audi 80 16V does not start, dies in wet weather

My girlfriend drives an Audi 80 16V. Now the problem is that he usually doesn’t jump on wet roads and sometimes he dies even while driving. The problem really only appears on wet roads, nothing is missing in the case of dry roads. So, he can usually start after the 2nd or 3rd time really, then you can also drive, but then he spins. He spins from 900 turns – what my girlfriend as n Or times – suddenly up to 1500, it doesn’t pick up gas and sometimes dies even completely under driving. Ignition coil, idle controller, ignition plug, ignition cable, Lambdasonne… everything new, so it can’t be. I know, by remote diagnosis it’s always bad, but since all the workshops here are baffled, I thought, I just ask, maybe one of you drives the same model and knows what it might be. For help we would be grateful. Greeting, Tanja

  • Audi 80 recommended? Pupils

Day! Since I have the rag now in a few days, I am of course looking for a car with my father. I notice the following points that I have set with my father: safety(snack zone etc) reliability spare parts/good availability of the quality price of course consumption In the end we/I came to the Audi 80. And if I’m honest this is really my dream car, I always thought it was awesome. Now we’ve been looking around the whole time. n 1500-2000€ before, my father of course helps with the selection (autoscout or mobile.de). These few offers should be flawless, you can notice more closely only after test drive or phone call with dealer. Now the question: Is such an Audi 80 recommended for beginners? I would like to drive it already a few years. At the moment I am still a student, after high school either Bund or training, whereby I would have of course more money then. How are the consumption values of the car, especially in town(c) a. 5-15km daily)? What about safety? With the insurance? How is the performance defined? So e.g. the 1.6 golf 5 of my mother has 110hp or so, but doesn’t pull at all. 1.8 with 90hp or 2.0 with 116hp? Or a 2.0 with 90hp? What about those with the consumption and there are big differences? I really want to have the car, because it doesn’t only have good values as I find it and promises German quality, but also looks really good.

  • Ball joint doesn’t want to get off the drive shaft

I’m still going crazy with this Audi ! The replacement of the drive cuffs at a 95er B4 2.o artet in madness. Now I did a lot of work after hours of shouting in with WD40 and hammering – but now the drive shaft joint at the front doesn’t want to get off the shaft! The cross handlebar is on the ground, is out of the way and I held the shaft with a man and tried to knock down the joint even with a plastic hammer. No chance! The fat central screw is of course already outside (o; Is this thing still secured somehow? Or what do I have to do to make it loose…? Greetings Kenny *so a screwdriver car it the B4 really not!*

  • Power??? The V8 will soon die out?

Hi together, I passed by a solar field the other day and got a little bit into the pondering… Especially since on my side now also a few reports of “his little sister” come to a small electric car and here and there quite a resonance. Am I stingy when I drive an Audi V8???http://www.sandmanns-welt.de/?p=2560 How do you see this? Are we at the end of a transitional period to alternative energies, and is this perhaps quite good with all the fun with thick cars? S andmann

  • Audi 80 B4 Avant 1.9 Tdi 1z bj 94 jerks

hi, my b4 1,9tdi 1z 90ps is jerking, but I have to describe this in more detail: he is jerking at speed (full gas), but only at certain speeds, he is jerking uphill, so somehow depending on the load. if I walk from the gas and roll is jerking nothing. the engine has no breakers, no start problems, everything ok my opinion. the jerking is also different strong, zb jerking in the 5th gear from about 120 – 140km/h he is jerking strongly, with 145 he is jerking little to even no. that’s also the case in other courses – unfortunately I don’t have a speedometer and can’t say at what turns the jerking occurs, but there seems to be a speed dependence, because this jerking always occurs at the same speeds, at some speeds he doesn’t jerk at all. but it still jerks even if I hit down at 120kmh from the 5th to the 4th gear. I read a bit in the forum and trip over quantities and n adelhubgeber as a well-known problem of this motor for jerking. a mechanic meant it could be the drive shaft or the transmission, the mechanic did not think of the quantity setting. now I need answer: 1. how does jerking by defective the drive shafts make itself felt? 2. how does drive shafts differ from jerking by a dirty quantity setting? 3. how does gearboxes make jerking noticeable 4. how can I just get out of where the jerking lies? 5. it is also written a lot that you can eliminate by “clamping the speedometer signal from the motor control unit” some jerking. how do I clamp what from ? if it is no longer jerking by disconnecting this signal, it is then due to quantity interlocking ? many thanks for your help, christian

  • The passing beam does not work, the driving beam does not rest

Evening Audi friends, I wanted to drive my friend home Saturday evening and noticed that it was quite dark in the front and ran right and had to find out that my dipped-beam no longer went, the driving beam only when the lever is pulled, so it does not stop. The standing light and the rear lights work however. After a long time back and forth (and don’t know what it is), I have now replaced the switch for standing light/deep-beam, but this did not deliver any results. In addition, my Audi has had another significant problem in the idling range for a few days, it has a speed range of 3000/3500 revolutions in both cold and warm engines. My question would be whether both are connected (which I exclude) or what it might be, that the driving light does not snap in etc. Edit: After today’s looking for my car I noticed the window lifter (elek.) and the windscreen wiper just did not react any more. the lever on the handlebars together or are these again spezelle problems?
