Hello I have an Audi 80 diesel 1.6L with 54 hp,Bj.7/86,Type 81,with a real original 5 gear transmission.The engine has only original 94Tkm down,is absolutely clean and runs very well. However, it is a bit too lame in the acceleration,now I don’t want to make a racing machine out of it,it should only accelerate a little bit better and faster,here to my question.What would be the easiest solution?About tips and suggestions I would be very pleased.My neighbor I meant to just install a TDI engine from a VW or Audi,if this was possible,what could I take for engines and transmissions? Certainly I would have to remodel the brakes then,what can I take there. I’m an absolute fan of type 81,if you should ask yourself why I don’t buy a newer TDI at the same time. The car is absolutely worth it,it’s in a top condition,it was previously driven only by two pensioners. Without defects the Audi TÜV and Au got new,E2 I have already had cheap entries,as I get a new Oxi cat very nice greeting. Michael very nice weekend.

Audi 80, bad cold start
Hi municipality, just got an heirloom in work:Audi 80, 1987,110tkm, engine code:unfortunately no idea. Problem: he starts, runs round and goes out.When I play the gas he runs at some point during 900 tours. I’ve already made a lot of mistakes in many posts, but it doesn’t make me realize which temperature sensor is responsible for the cold start info? Audicabriolet bj.98 Crack in the rear window possible by rollsplit?
Hallihallo, yesterday the blow hit me when I saw that the private winter service of my neighbour allowed the martens to not slip out…^^http://up.picr.de/20844600gb.jpghttp://up.picr.de/20844601sq.jpg (the pictures are also in the appendix) öhm..nun I carefully removed the stones with water and noticed that there is a small crack in the rear window. The crack is not yet open..only clearly visible. I’m not really sure if it comes from it or was created days ago, since I don’t always clean the rear window so thoroughly or so…. Could that be with a 17-year-old plastic disc that so stones get the plastic broken? Would I be right if the insurance of the winter service had to pay the heck disk exchange. What do you think?

Stupid question, but what oil is the right one?
Servutze municipality… I’ve already used the SuFu but these are too many different statements to me and that doesn’t bring me any further. Now that an oil change is about to happen, the question is which oil is now the best for my little one. Drive the 5W40 from Moly at the moment, but after about 7000km after the change I have to tilt again four liters. So it seems to be just too thin with the time. So now my question to you what would be the best oil for my little one that you have the interval time its rest? Audi S2 ABY near desperation… engine problem
Hello dear friends, I’ve been through the temen for hours, unfortunately, without coming to a result. My problem I have a ABY transplanted into my audio 90 at first without problems only slowly he brings me to white glow the following problem: with the acceleration e.g. 3-speed from 2000 u/min charging pressure rises to about 1 bar and the engine or better said the whole car vibrates I walk down a bit of the gas and the charging pressure goes back to 0.8 bar he pulls fully on ?? I go from the gas down us try the again the pressure only to 0.8 bar and he accelerates the engine is quite normal times really warm he jerks even more for it he has the problem with higher turning numbers no more error memory is empty…(swee me always out of the diagnosis again) theverse parts have been replaced at the moment my gasseil different so that I set at full-feeted pedal unfär the throsselklappe only 1/4 makes me feel better ….

Timing belts torn????
Hello municipality, My neighbor wants to give me his B4 ABK , 11.1993 , Quattro. Has 22td km down. Looks inside as well as outside and in the engine room like new!!! Has only made since 1995 no tooth belt change or oil change anymore. the good neighbor is in the Krakenhaus and I could not wait and I have already tried. He has a bit jerked as if the engine had not run free so I thought. After 2-3 km on the highway(still urban area) so does not drive fast the engine suddenly goes off. To make Nix the ADAC man after incoming test (electric, spark plugs etc.) has dragged me to the workshop. I had before the engine failure nix heard thus no loud noises like places or tear ö.ä. Now the question is in the room whether the tooth belt is torn. Do there any opinions about it?

Where is your stand heating + integration petrol & cooling water
Moin, I finally managed to get a preheater. Have installed everything in the bay at a used Webasto Thermo Top T BW50 Bj.:2002. As far as everything is good, but now I ask myself where I should plant the in my moto room still quite installed there. I have read that the original heater under the driver’s headlight should sit behind the bumper or fender, that would be like me also the only free place, otherwise I don’t think so, you maybe? I have to put the hoses right across the engine room, so the enclosed ones will not be enough, therefore I have to get longer anyway. Achja, the whole should be in my Audi 100 C4 avant quattro with the 2.3l AAR and climate control. Because of the connection of the air conditioning I have already found a lot here and will probably implement this also, say automatic control with 22° and ventilation level 4. Now it’s all about the integration into the return of the benzoin line, just behind the volume divider, and this is something that I wanted to do there.

Audi 80 Cabrio 2,6l Heating hose mounting position
Hallöchen, a good friend of mine drives an Audi 80 B4 convertible with the 2,6l V6. Yesterday he lost cooling water, nothing serious, he noticed it in time before there was too little water in it. Overheating is therefore not a topic. Then he found the cause immediately. The hose on the driver’s side which goes to the heat exchanger in the interior has a crack. During the expansion we noticed that if you steer to the left this hose is clamped between steering rods and cooling water pipe. Even when driving straight out the hose is still deformed. Only if you hit the right side, there is no contact between steering rods and heating hose. It seems strange to me that this hose has been broken by the continuous walking movements of the hose. The engine has been changed by the previous owner times, I guess now that he has misplaced the hose and therefore the defect has occurred. Hope that a few Audi specialists are able to help us further by telling us how the hose has to run properly.

Rubber metal bearing on the cooler, can I also take that off the automatic?
Moin on the other hand, I have to punch you with regard to a rubber metal bearing for my cooler. ETKA offers me the part number 893121273 for the lower holder and 803121273 for the side holder. Both with Audi are omitted and according to their statement only about Classic Parts to get. With those at the time no stock there and when comes in again they do not know. So I wanted to buy at Ebay, because the side is torn off and the lower one is also almost through, so that the cooler is held almost only by the hoses and the holder to the front. Only Ebay does not know the number 8931121273, because there are 0 results. But for the number 4331121273. Only there is “only for automatic transmission” with some suppliers, with some not. Now the question whether I can also take this one ? Optisch sits the cooler too deep, because I have several cm height distance at the side warehouse and below it does not look right, the holder seems bent or the warehouse is not the right height, though, but you don’t have a lot of information about it.
