I like my old Audi because…
…it just runs and runs! While browsing the other forums I noticed that many problems with their new cars have. Long workshop stays and annoying problem searches are probably the order of the day. Since I am sometimes really happy to drive an “old bowl”, a scratch more or less itches me not very much. My climate can not break, because I have none. Electrics doesn’t spin, because no one exists. The built-in Navi can not be stolen and without driving away Also no computer chip can prevent my brakes from braking. Sometimes it’s easier to drive an old and cheap car, but as always: everything has its advantages and disadvantages. In my next car I want climate, e-windows and navigator and hope for a trouble-free driving like with the B4! What do you like about your “old”?

Is my 2.3 Bj 91 quieter than others?
Hello everybody, I’ve already read a lot in this forum and I’m surprised that everyone praises the sound of the 5 cylinder… both in the stand as well as in the load… Well, everything is original with mine. Nothing with a sports air filter or exhaust. So exhaust is, but it’s an original one. I always find that my rather “squeaked” sounds… Can this be due to a clogged air filter or the like?? Brubbing doesn’t do anything. And where we are already so nice to each other. He jumps relatively well when it is cold, then drives like a sack of nuts, when it has temperature, then it drives quite manically, but it doesn’t go through clean. Always feel that it defends itself in between times quite briefly, but then it thinks differently. Does anyone have an idea here??? Audi 80 B3 1.6 PP engine with 2EE carburetor Idle running problems
Hello I have a little idle problem with my engine. When I start the engine I step through the accelerator twice before. then it also runs in a bit in idle. If I then drive a bit and e.g. at a traffic light the engine just goes out almost always. If I want to start it again I have to give it a bit of gas and then keep the engine on gas. Sometimes it stays just running as said. I can well imagine that it is on the old fuel there The Audi has now 32000km down at year 90. But maybe it’s the carburetor, I heard it’s not so stupid.. Hello everybody, short introduction: I am actually looking for an Audi A4 B6 convertible. Besides that, I always look for a B4 convertible, I drove a B4 limosine myself years ago, also a very nice car. In my search I found the following cars:http://bit.ly/1RC2DVu In short form: 74000 km, from America, 175 hp, automatic, repainted, various new parts. Now to my questions: Has anyone here experience with cars from America? What about the replacement In case of a defect of e.g. crossbars, exhaust, illuminant etc., can simply German spare parts be installed? What does it look like with underbody protection? What is there generally to consider with American cars? What is the general opinion, could the car be worth 8500 € in the described condition or is it clearly too expensive? I know we all don’t have a glass ball, I’m more concerned with subjective opinions. German cabrios in decent or good condition. The car is close to me, I would probably look at it once next week. Audi 80 2.6 quattro 20L Consumption far too high
Hello, I bought an Audi 80 2.6 quattro a few days ago and I am satisfied, would not be the consumption of 20-25L in normal driving mode! Audi 80 b3 1.6 51KW empty run unround, engine shuts down
Hello, have an Audi 80 b3 1.6 with 51kw. My problem is the following. The empty run is especially cold shortly after the start very bad (runs on 2-3 cylinders). The problem is not always the same extreme, but usually it goes out if you don’t keep it at mood. With a bit of gas it runs constantly on 3 cylinders. The 4th then comes up at some point. When giving gas and going from driving he jerks strongly. in thrust mode at lower speeds (under 2000) he jerks aúc h. It also sometimes goes out when uncoupled. no matter whether warm or cold. Also warm it sounds like in the empty run, as if sometimes it would not ignite a cylinder for a short time. I have already searched in the search and found only one topic in which similar problems were described. There was the problem of the Zynddistributor. It can’t be that with me. Just changed ignition distributors, ignition cables and spark plugs. Unfortunately unchanged. I noticed however that the spark plugs n are very black (see picture). Audi 100 C3 3-stage automatic noise in the 2nd gear
Hello! The data from my car: Audi 100 C3 Limusine Built 01/1986 101KW/137PS 5-cylinder, 2226 cc Mutor letter: KU (no KAT, K-Jetronic) The automatic transmission worries me. Years ago, I actually heard the sound for the first time, and that’s when I switched up to the 2nd gear. I would say that one hears such a metallic “rubbing” as if something slipped. Not very loud, but it sounds bad, comparable to a broken bearing or something like that. it is also heard manchaml, when you are driving underboard in the second stage and then there is no kickdown gas. You never hear it at full throttle, so when it switches from the first to the second stage it is nothing. Or when you kick down from the 3rd to the 2nd (overtake) is nothing. My first suspicion was that the brake bands are emptied out and slip through. But what I don’t think speaks of it: 1. If you hear slipping brake bands, you would have to hear them during every switching process. n. 2. If they slip at low speeds, they would have to do it at full throttle, because the torque is higher. Oh yes, that’s a change gear and doesn’t even have 150,000 km on it. Does anyone have something like that already, or at least an idea what that could be? If it’s the brake belts, someone has a guide on how to change it? And where do you get it?

There suffering 2.3 NG problem
Hello, I’ve been here for a long time but I’ve always only gelsen and helped me as far as possible! Now I need help with my 2.3 convertible with NG! I’ve tried everything to do with this car but I don’t find the right mistake! To the course! Cold start problem and speed loss after uncoupling! Everything renewed from probes to pipes as well as false air tested! I’m a lot on the screws but I can’t get any further! Error code is 2132 but Lambda works normally at all I hope that one of you already had this error and has fixed it! Not how many people say” I’ve got it too” It would be really nice ! Greetings Lars

5 cylinder sound amplify
Servus colleagues, I have a question about my Audi Coupe 5 cylinder year 1986. How can I am able to amplify the 5 cylinder sound? A buddy of mine meant that the Quattro is even louder. It comes from another air filter box or something. Who can help me further what can be changed? Or are there other means, open sports filter??? or exhaust system (group A)??? The five cylinder sound is simply addictive!!!
