  • Ignition problems, especially during cold start

    Hello dear community, I have been having problems with my Audi 80 (115 hp, approx. 90KW) for quite some time now. Even though the problem is – as can also be seen from the title – that the car ignites very badly and starts very late especially at cold start – I mean several attempts. You put the key in, spin it and wait until the engine starts, but it usually does this after 3-4 attempts, especially at cold start. eilercap and the relay – as I was told – have already been changed for the start, but the problem still exists. I might think it has worsened since I installed the new parts. Does anyone know what the very late ignition/extremely long start could be due to?

  • Audi 80 B4 Light problem

    Hello, since then I have a problem with my B4. if I do the light switch once to the top on both sides stand light, if I now turn on ignition and set it on dipped light, on the driver side the stand light almost goes off and the H4 light bulb very weakly on. in the tacho lights up also very weakly the main light light, if I take out the H4 lamp, the stand light also goes off and if I also only the plug from the light range regulation b ewege, then he starts to work and becomes more and more slow and difficult, because he can’t put more than when he’s always close to it, he sounds.     The car should be used for a nice day to the company, exits and weekend trips. In the eye we have a 96 cabrio with almost 90,000 km. Equipment: leather climate aluminum rims 85kw / 116 hp seat heating double airbag cover manually Price: 7000,- Euro (already pre-negotiated from 7990,- Euro) The vehicle has slight defects, like 2-3 small dents. Rubber at the cover edge (where the windows hit) slightly torn / 5cm. V otherwise cover fine. Driver leather seat at the entry edge very porous. Tires are DOT 2003. Now my questions to the current convertible drivers. Is the engine power sufficient for the convertible or does not get the good piece out of the hooves. Is the price acceptable for a 12 year old convertible.

    Hi people I bought an audi 90 2,3e build year 90 with 280000km, it didn’t start right away and needs 4-6 sec. until it reaches.dan we come to the sprite consumption he definitely needs 30 liters on 100km ifs enough,have already installed a new lampta and it’s not better, my predecessor has already been angry with it because ignition and some other parts are already new,know no longer to help me need urgent help?mfg

  • Problems with the V6 2.6l ABC after the winter break

    HI, after 5 months of winter break I drove a round one today. So normally turned on super jump and after 5 km the mountain up at once no more performance. At the next stop he stopped already run round so back home. When driving was much louder as if the exhaust leaked somewhere. At home turned out and at first was disappointed from the first drive I wanted to drive from the entrance into the garage now he does not jump on, he turns though and wants to abe r it sounds like he doesn’t get gas. Then with my buddy the car is pushed on the road, 2 gears and wanted to turn on nothing, can’t. Can someone help me? What could it be or does it sound like a certain problem?   • Audi80 (Type89) 2.0E saws idle

    Hello, I am currently having problems with my Audi80 (type 89), year 89, with the 2.0E machine (engine 3A, 113hp, KE-Jetronic). If the car has been warmed up and you switch to thrust mode (e.g. roll down a mountain without gas) or the car is in the lead at the traffic light, the engine is slicing smoothly ahead of you. The speed then varies by +/- 100 rpm. There is no running calmness! You notice clearly that there is any controller or sensor in the control. As soon as you give gas everything is i. O.. The power is right, I have also found no problems with gas acceptance or speeding up. The only thing I have noticed are smaller leaks in the exhaust. Can this disturb the Lamba control so? Or does the push-off spin? Or is it something completely different? In advance thank you for your help. Greetings Jan

  • Paint brake calipers

    Servus, I want to paint my brake calipers when I make my brakes and rims. Only I find only varnishes to spray. But I think it’s much easier to brush. I don’t really want to remove the whole saddle, it’s unnecessary extra work. What experiences have you made with painting the brake calipers, and especially how did you do it? If I can give you a hint where I get one to brush from, I would be very connected to that one.

    Hello people I received yesterday n offer for an Audi Cabrio 1.8 automatic from the BJ 97 with 85400km. The car is offered with 9000.-€ from the dealer. I myself have a BMW E36 320i Touring Exclusive Edition(fully equipped!!!) BJ 98 and with 158000km. I am supposed to pay for the Audi still 2400,-E. How fair does the offer sound and what should I look for? I would be happy about every info and tip MfG

    Hello Audigemeinde, here’s my Audi and I would like to know what you say about it. To the equipment he has ZV, EFH, ESD, Klima, Leder, Navi and next he gets front with leather covered doorboards. Have an LPG gas plant not yet registered would cost another 60 or 120€ Do you think that would have a better effect on the selling price if the tüv had and the gas plant was registered? HU and AU will probably get it. The previous owner has made the car well, I have now done almost everything original, unfortunately the even harder springs inside and 40mm deeper. so the bumpers I want to make at any time otherwise it looks so scrapped and nobody buys? What can I demand for the car? Is bj. 09/95 Limo and has run 186,500 km, I have here new tooth straps I have to change the days once more. Defects: 1. Rear passenger door is bad, still has to be adjusted correctly, but 1 screw round does not get the door off. 2. Small stone blow in the windscreen on the driver’s side (quickly far left, not in the sight area) 3. Small bump in the trunk flap hardly visible. Positive: Low-tax thanks to cold-lubricated LPG car gas system refuel for 55 cents / liters -> With 25€ you get with normal driving so 380-420km 15 inches aluminium rims (but cheap parts of Titan, since my 17-inch rial were stolen…) What else I would do: get other matures with profile. Bumpers in car color look at the pictures and say what I can lose for it? I thought about 2000€ and how always VB comes out so about 1.7? Or do you mean too much or too little? And is it worth doing the tv? Because otherwise I have to register the car in a few days already got letter.
