Hi guys, I drove for the first time today a ( couple of months old) Mazda 2. Madness, what a cheap crap with all the silver lacquered hard rubber parts in the interior, the stone-hard bumpy chassis and the primitive loud engine, which as I have read has neither hydropump nor a knock sensor. That had German cars already 25 years ago. My old Audi has that anyway. No wonder that there is little broken, is also nothing. 10 liters consumption with fast r Autobahnfahrt are unacceptable for an 80hp small car. I prefer to stay with my 19-year-old Audi 90, which is also reliable, but more comfortable and beautiful and even more economical.

Power difference with warm and cold engine – 80s ABK
So I drive my Audi 80 ABK slightly warm and then I step into something, but I can not fully. Well, if the engine has so 70° according to temperature indicator and the oil so about 60° and I give then half gas so not full gas then my motor pulls better than if it is at temperature (90° cool water – about 80° oil). Normally my motor should pull better if it is warm or not? Especially in warm weather falls on that just nothing more goes on…if I compared to 5° outside temperature give half gas is the motor fast to 50 kmh, but I drive at 15° outside temperature the motor completely sucks off…I need a lot longer to get to 50 kmh…the motor just pulls out below worse! For info, I measured the pressure of the individual cylinders in the cold condition and there it was on the 1st cylinder 7.5bar 2. zyl 8bar 3. zyl 7.5bar and 4.zyl 8bar….the details are of course not 100% accurate…measurement I made with a device…no idea which n name it carries In the warm condition the engine should produce even more bar per cylinder…so therefore also better performance than in the cold condition, but according to the comparison (5° and 15°) not really true!! Can anyone help me?

Hi guys, I have this electric antenna at my convertible, the exit as soon as the radio is on. Unfortunately I drove backwards out of the garage last Friday and the gate was not yet at the top (electric gate drive). Now my question is, is there also the individual antenna rod at Audi or do I have to replace everything together with this entry and exit unit? Greet Felix

Hello guys, I have a huge problem with my car. I have a new water cooler in it now, because it was clogged. We installed a new heat exchanger yesterday (no comment on it, otherwise I’ll just start cursing again). New engine, new clutch and new gearbox are also in it. Also new cooling liquid has been filled up. My problem is that my cooling water according to display during the ride goes up to 60 – 70 °C and the heating does not really heat. It comes only la Even if the car is standing and the engine is running, the display goes up to 90 – 95°C, but the heating power changes only minimally. I know from the B3 that you usually burn your fingers to the ventilation shafts. Can’t imagine it’s some defective sensor. Then the heating would have to work properly. I will now switch the thermostat again from 80° to 87°C. Tomorrow when I’m at the Bosch service to the n I’ll ask him if he might have a solution. It’s not so great in winter with a cold interior. Hello, have a B4 2.0 l with 115 hp, “EURO 2” according to the previous owner, I also insisted on this with my Audi search, because I had an annual invoice of 287 € for my last B3 Bj 86, 1.8 l 113 hp. In my current vehicle license is “no-pollutant E2”. Jetz I got a invoice from the tax office over 303 €!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As a small explanation was on the 2nd page: “The designation low-pollutant E2 indicated in the vehicle license corresponds to the exhaust emission standard Euro 1.” or s owhat. How can that be? Do they want to fool me or is that really so? Did I pay between my first Audi and the current BMW 2.0l with 150 hp, EURO 2 and 147, did I ever pay that for the B4 also, because of almost the same engine capacity?? Can it also be that the simply made a mistake? I would call, but I only learned it earlier and on Friday evening the tax office is unfortunately not available!
