  • Audi 80 GTE (B2) no longer starts …

…and he was only 7 years in the garage. Hello people, my first help request in the Audi area. My new old GTE (DZ engine) was the last 7 years. Now he should of course again on the road. Unlike my Quantum (which also stood 6 years, but jumped directly again!!!) the Audi unfortunately does not want to. Oil is already fresh, motor also turns. I had it turned a little without connected ignition to build up oil pressure. Ignition plug on it in the hope it comes… no… only a lot of shaking and not the trace of a will to tackle. He ran while turning off.. unfortunately I have with the DZ zero experience therefore here my help request: Is there something special to consider when troubleshooting, things that especially with this model due to long service life no longer work odr gladly also general advice on what and where to look at? Thank you.

  • Webshop for replicas of spare parts no longer available

Moin from the far north, I don’t know if my post is correctly placed here – otherwise I ask for info 😉 I’ve been dealing with the topic of 3D printing for several years, especially spare parts with replica at VAG – and have recently also set up a small online shop, which might be interesting for some of you. At www.dmparts.de you can find cup holder inserts for B3/B4/C4, the often crumbling multifuzzi plug and more – s if you want to cut in, the whole thing will be continuously expanded 😉 Greeting Dennis

  • Buy A6 c4

Hello guys, I want to fulfill my long-held dream and set up an A6 C4 2,6l V6. Nen 100er with 2.3L Ng would be better but I don’t care I want to see this one soon:http://suchen.mobile.de/…/details.html?… What do you think of it, I think it’s a pretty honest car. What can I expect because of the mileage?

  • Chaos stream not my friend

Moin, today I have a Prob. Car: C4 2.6 V6 Automat, from 1993 Avant Q. Has run out during the ride (no current). Nix had to be noted before. Battery measured, 7.6 volts. Bridged, started, cable off again, off. So no charge. Again cable on, ignition on, whole AI no control lights. Check brake light funnels, main beam funnels but the six down in the middle, even nothing. And now it comes. Battery is from 2013, well, come on, get a new one. Picked up, still fully charged, m It’s clear. Car set up, 14 hours later starts great, 10 meters ranged to the lift, four hours stood, battery completely all (5.5 volts). Where do I start? Measuring directly at Lima is clear, I have to expose first, but the AI??? And who sucks the battery sooo empty after the second start? Electricity is not my friend must say, prefer five gears out and in. I know this car since then he has never had problems with the Stromati since 2001. e…….

  • How to check brake force regulators?

Hello, affected vehicle: Audi 80 T89, EZ 04/91, 90hp, PM engine. Since again a HU is at the TÜV I checked the brake force regulator today and the lever moved only minimally to not at all when the brake is operated. Normally the lever would have to move if someone is sitting in the car and operating the brake? I sprayed everything nicely with WD40 now, the lever can be moved easily with the hand, but as said only minimally when braking. Is that what you are looking for, or what is the normal condition? Another question. I found 2 variants here in the shop. Once at the “NK” there is “manufacturer restriction ate, aluminum” and at the other of Lucas “until year of construction 08.91, manufacturer restriction TEVES,” Where is the difference here? Thank you for your answers.

  • Knack noise at the KW threaded chassis at the Audi 100 S4

Hello, there are some of you who can also drive the KW coilover suspension in their S4 C4 and possibly help me. It’s about that from the start when I steer the spring in the stand jumps back and forth and can hear a “KLONG” sound all the time. Have the bearing ring and everything new except the upper rubber where the spring sits on it otherwise both upper bearings and the bearing ring ern. The suspension is now vo. thread hit down, which I notice by the way still much too high is! Maybe one or the other of you has had experiences with it and can give me a tip as I can fix the problem and I can leave my treasure to the spring without noises on the road.

  • Is it the finest?

Hello, I had the problem, that I lose coolant (100 ml to 1000 km). I then put the Audi to the VAG and said he should look at it. They then made a pressure test and proved sure that a cooling water hose was leaking. This was replaced. On my account I have the following positions: leak of the cooling system checked coolant hose coolant hose replaces 2 clamps coolant. I then thought it was all in butter and am At home I looked and saw that the coolant stand is at min. Since I had no G12 Plus, I drove home as planned (2nd seat), that is 200 km highway, full load of course. At home I discovered that the coolant balance tank was empty. So it was really empty. I then tipped over 1 liter G12 Plus / water mixture. So I drove back the 200 km, nothing changed at the coolant stand, so it’s all there. I also drove full load and turned it properly. Now my question: Did the workshop forget to vent the cooling system? Because there is nothing on the bill. And why did the warning light go on net?

  • Spare parts – question…

Hello, I once looked around at an online spare parts shipping house a little, what the stuff would cost so much what they offer… Some things I don’t really understand: 1) They offer a timing belt set for about 55 €. What’s there? Water pump probably not, or… But timing belts and turning roller(s)? 2) With the V-belts (there’s the 90s two, one for the Lima and the other for the servo, right?) I still need the turning wheels, right? They’re really expensive… 3 ) Brake discs rear axle: carpenter okay, right? The brake pads are from Pagid… ? Does anyone know them? 4) What is a cylinder hood seal set? A little many questions at once… Thanks, Ganesha

  • Problems with the front axle (crossbar bush)

Hello, 1 Have my winter tires on it today, and since the start the steering wheel vegrates while braking. 2 front right I can move the Qeur handlebar back and forth. (so to the left and to the right) Now my question, can I only replace the bushings at the Qeur handlebar or rather the complete Qeur handlebar??? (have no workshop) How strong are they pressed in, or can you not do it yourself. Can the driving wheel get through this???? And should I use the cathedral bearings at the same time. or is it just a waste of time and money???? http://cgi.ebay.de/…4083QQQihZ016QQcategoryZ61892QQrdZ1QcmdZViewItemhttp://cgi.ebay.de/…9426QQihZ013QQcategoryZ61892QQrdZ1QcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.de/…2721QQihZ008QQcategoryZ6192QQrdZ1QcmdZViewItem Can I take the ebay product, or is it all bad? (maybe one has already bought and built in) or should I take original product (don’t like to do it again in one year) And know by chance what the ebay product is, or is it all bad? stuff at the cost???? Only for comparison???? I think if I gave it all to you, it would have to be away from Bermsen. mfg

  • Lower the front axle maybe 10-20mm?

Hello, yes I’m it again… Have just got another question how to get my car a little deeper on the front axle, because of hanging ass and so Hab found in the search that you can install the rear spring plates from a type 85/89 Quattro on the front axle of the B4. Should bring thus between 8 and 10mm. But is possibly a little scarce, therefore I want to ask if there are still spring plates from some tuning company that I can install. Found myself at DuW and co. nix. I didn’t want to be pressed, because I heard and read too much negative about it. Are there other cheap to cheap methods? Except for new springs and threads?
