  • Help! Battery lamp burns at low speed

    Hello! If I had a question here that just cost me some nerves on the way home… At low speed and in thrust mode, the battery lamp lights up from my B4 (BJ 93 1.6l/ 74 kw). I tried it around, at speed from 3000 upwards it goes out again and in the stationary gas lights up nothing. I am in need quite high-touring at home. I am absolutely perplexed… I already measured LiMa out of all desperation, brings between 14 and 14,1 V. So must fit. Battery is also possible. I have 2 V-belts. A thin one and a wider one with longitudinal grooves. Could it be because one of them is not tense enough? How strong do they have to be tense at all? Thanks for your help!

  • [AUdi 80 B4] Engine no longer starts

    [Audi 80 B4] Motor no longer jump on Good day, unfortunately my Audi left me for the first time today. I went shopping without any problems at noon. I arrived at home, I only quickly unloaded a car and wanted to drive to the lake. Stieg in, wanted to start but nothing happened. ;( Again and again tried, nothing. Tank indicator says still the 1/4 is inside. I checked oil, the stand was strangely very low. (approx. 2 weeks ago was controlled everything oaky) Ha b Oil replenished and tried again to ignite, nothing went on. A few buddies tried to push me on but didn’t do anything. By chance my old instructor just drove by and took me to the towing rope, but even then the engine didn’t jump on. I’m really desperate. Can you please help me? ;( Will be expensive again if not motor damage. I only installed a new MSD last week (hope it doesn’t hang together).

I have now 1.5 years, have immediately made an oil change with Mobil1 0W40 fully synthesized. In the course of the time I have then noticed the high oil break.   • 2 new problems

    Hello, was yesterday a little longer with my Audi. I noticed something strange when standing at the intersection. And it steamed something out of the ventilation in the center console. Ventilation stood on windows and footroom. Roch also didn’t smear. Had actually no smell at all. Did I notice a few times now. Can’t locate however. Does something have to do with the Klimatronic? The next thing I noticed is that I think my differential makes Ge No howling, rather like a grinding. But that only makes itself noticeable if you let the car roll in the second or third gear on a level track or downhill. As soon as you step on the clutch, that stops abruptly. Does the soon over Jordan go or what can it be?

    Hello, so I have a problem with my carburetor, basically I’m looking for only one automatic starter and a vacuum element for the second stage, for the 2B5 85hp, that’s not easy, I find nothing in the net.   • No power with 20V suction cup

    Hello together, I recently bought a Coupe Quattro Type89 with the rare 20V suction motor (170hp). To be honest, I am quite disappointed about it, because the start is clearly carrier than with the almost 35hp weaker 10V and even at high speeds you can hardly feel the power advantage. In addition, it sometimes jerks when accelerating and in idle mode the speed often falls into the basement during warm start, so that it almost runs out of itself. n, but it didn’t show a mistake.   • Cooling water at 120°C, oil temperature i.o. water pump defective?

    Hello people, I’ve had a problem again for a long time… ..I drove to work this morning because the car was not warm (inside room). Water temperature went on the highway to about 110°C, but oil remained cold (it never makes it on the way to work to get warm, not in winter). So I made it to work… I opened hood once and looked… the lower thick hose was icy cold. The upper thick extremely hot. On the way home the same game as the water at 120°C I was then rather stopped and let it cool down. Then I drove home again the same… top hot down cold. When I opened the balance tank (a little bit) big amount of air came up high thinking that there was somewhere so much pressure built up. Well.. actually everything went before, except that at the back of the engine block (where the hose goes to heating on the flange) water has popped out. I changed the flange then it was again i.o. Could a How can I check the water pump(right). Otherwise, I don’t think what it can be… if the thermostat was broken the water would circulate at least a little bit cooler is almost 6 months old.
