CAT/Flange/moderated screws: Audi 80 B3
Hi, the day before yesterday my Audi got a whole number louder or pulled even more air than before. I already knew that the KAT flange was supposed to be a small hole. This has now been forgotten. Unfortunately, you can’t weld much or somehow save this flange, because all screws are already badly rusted and actually it’s only a matter of time until things fall apart. Unfortunately, the solution is called directly new KAT + connecting pipe to the exhaust. Where should I then Dana Is there a KAT that would directly bring Euro 2 standard, so you would hit 2 birds with one stone?! Is the JN 1.8S.

Scratches in the paint, what to do?
Hello guys, I found a scratch of a little 4 cm in my passenger door at noon! I got annoyed with animals… and now I’m standing there and I don’t know anymore. The scratch might be about 24 hours old and bothers me of course. Of course, if it would disappear again, it wouldn’t be my favorite. What can I do now? Didn’t hear the paint pencil be so great… What else do I have? How does it look like with rust? Is the zinc layer damaged? Thank you very much.

No longer original spare parts from Audi for A8 and B3
Moin, I just read in the AUTO BILD that Audi is running out of spare parts for the A8 of the first generation and you can not get any original first parts for the B3 anymore at Audi. Is there a hammer or ? then it will probably soon be the B4 that the first parts no longer deliver.. What do we do then ??

Knarrowing on the front axle
Hello, I have been hearing a knarzen doer gun from somewhere in front of me for a while with my Audi the more often – especially when driving left.. Where the noise comes from is difficult to locate, when driving sounds like there would be somewhere right in front of me on the other side of the spray wall That sounds like steering gear for me? On the other hand, I hear the same or at least a similar knarzen partly even when I park the car and get out.. something under tension and relax? And that comes then rather out of the wheelbox at the front left.. Meanwhile I hear the sound not only when steering, but also partly when driving over small bumps.. I would be grateful to everyone who can tell me where to start looking, what that is, because unfortunately I have no approach at all mfg kaindl

NG Standby gas problem
Hello community, I have a complete problem with my stand gas speed. -> drive with the car… Speed normal -> car parking -> start car (speed I.o.) -> after the start briefly get into the gas and leave out again -> car died. -> After starting immediately start off and then off the gas -> stand gas again at 900 rpm so I have the problem only when the car has stood and I leave it and just around stood still with the gas… or also (since I play with the gas) automatic) when I put D in after the start and just walk off the brake -> car dead… If I give gas however and then stop at the next outlet about 50 further nothing is missing.. What could this cause? Fuel pressure storage? Fuel pressure regulator? Idle engine is new as well as empty running hoses… Underpressure hose for VEZ control unit also I.O.

Sometimes splashy, sometimes not – Audi 80 B4 ABT (90 hp)
Hello together! After already a few weeks ago I have made a defective intake air temperature generator as cause for my power loss, now a new, strange behavior has set itself: In 90% of the cases the engine runs quite normal, i.e. it runs round and runs evenly. No or only minimal jerker during high and downhill under load. However, it seems a bit attached. The behavior is independent of the temperature. In the other 10% however the engine goes far better from the stand: No matter if it is cold or warm, it goes through much better and turns up much faster. It also hangs much better on the gas when starting up (you have to push the accelerator much less to drive normally). Makes then really fun to drive. However: engine off and off again and everything is over again. The following I have already done or checked (in chronological order): -Thermostat exchanged because defective – petrol pump new it works because the hot air flap in the intake tube -Flange between mono-mo and cracker is dense (when the air filter box is wobbly, no change in the motor run) -Tube on the intake manifold for connection with BKV renewed because defective. -Cool water temperature sensor tested: OK -Intake air temperature sensor replaced because defective -Injection valve measured: Is OK -Zündspule measured: Is OK -Distributor sight test: Obvious OK -Contact spray on ignition cable and in Vertei -New spark plugs (WR 7 LTC+ from Bosch). The old (~1 year) were burnt off very light grey to white (= too lean) -Lamda probe sometimes tested: No change Another question: I have a preheating device (electric) in the intake manifold below. It is in me can there be something else? Hope you still have the one or the other tip for me, because I’m starting to get the ideas… Greetings, Berni

from interior ventilation it sometimes smells of gasoline
Hey guys, first of all: with my `94 B4 Avant it smells like gasoline sometimes when I turn on the interior ventilation. Even if no running car is standing in front of me or when driving free. But is not always the case. In the workshop I was told that everything in the engine room was tight, the filters changed! Hmmm? As I said, doesn’t always occur, but more and more often 😉 Second: Timing belt changes in my model are there 300,-Euro incl. material and working time appropriate? G made! thirdly: how much is the average consumption with you? I find it swallows quite a lot! How far do you get with a tank filling approx? Thank you already in advance, dears, your Nicki

Rear damage, evaluator or estimate workshop?
Now the question is whether I have to go to an evaluator or whether an estimate of the workshop is sufficient? Audi 80 B3, 1.8S PM Silver Metallic 126.000km original year 1990 Automatic sliding roof, checkbook maintained from beginning to end Garage car (lacquer tip top) I estimate the damage as economic total damage. There is a limit on how much euro you have to visit an evaluator, how high is the amount of damage. How high would you estimate the value of the car?
