  • MKB: PP! Idling always falls away while uncoupled

    Themenstarter Hello friends,I have bought an audi 80 type 89. he has installed the engine with key letters pp. I have the problem with the car that he very often simply runs out at the decoupling. when starting or in normal empty run there are no abnormalities. I have for maintenance reasons ignition cables, ignition plugs, distribution cap, distributor fingers, sealing flange of the injection system, and the air filter made new. I have in empty run everything on vacuum hoses, also from the brake force rker sprayed with brake cleaner. it did not show any effect. did you perhaps have an idea to get the error on the loop,or a test method for the leak control? the search function I have already used, unfortunately did not help me. the injection system and the flaps are cleaned. do you have to learn the flaps with this motor maybe also new? know this for example from the polo 6n,golf etc. have unfortunately zero experiences with the pp motor. look forward to your bet Räge.   • Overtake the cylinder head

    Hello guys, I would like to change the two head seals from my landlord’s car (Audi 100/A6 2.6 V6 ABC) in about 3 weeks. I also want to overtake the head a little bit, which means valve shaft seals new and regrind valves. Now I have changed a head with a Fiat but never disassembled the valve drive. I read everything and understood everything except the following things: 1. In order to take the cam shaft out I have to logically the NW This is only on a cone without locking. In the instructions it is always quite natural to take it off. But don’t I have to make it before as it was on the NW???? Otherwise I will never get the steering times right again after that or is it enough to make it like the cams at OT were? 2. The writing that one should use a shock puller for the expansion of the shaft seals because these are very tight. This also goes out with a screwdriver or the like. 3. For the assembly of the new ones they say you should take an imprinter. In addition, the same question, do you need it or can you do it without it?

  • Audi 80 PM starts after the start…

    Hello! Since my beloved Audi has been standing for two weeks it goes down the drain… When it is cold it sometimes starts well, but goes out after 1 minute. If it doesn’t go out it does not take gas, if I step more energeticly on the gas it almost drains, I can only gently increase the speed (if it is not idle). I think it is a bit easier with a warmer engine. Yesterday I changed air filters on suspicion (was quite dense) and the coolant temperate. this morning I tried to start again, then he ran a little longer (5min) with stand gas of about 1900 (slowly decreasing), but then went out again.   • can be removed lever for handbrake?

    80s b3 T89 2,0ltr hi people, have problem with fixed handbrake (disk brake). wanted to ask if you can remove the lever, where the rope and the reset spring are mounted, from the brake caliper. wants to make it manageable again. because with caramba and rust releaser in conjunction with hammer and screwdriver moving back and forth the problem does not seem to solve any more. or what happens if I cut out the lever with a lot of narrowness? does that ever work? would be very d It’s a pity you don’t crack a plaque because of a heavy lever.

    Hi guys! From February I start with tuning! Then finally there’s coal!! First I wanted to start with deeper laying, then Car-Hifi, then let engine-haupe and rear bumper paint and when spring comes there’s chic 17 -or 18 inches!! Anyway here first my questions to lay deeper: I thought of 40mm deeper laying by springs. Over 60 mm have already been complained about here that the shock absorbers suffer. Or what do you say about it? Why is that so? expensive are well feders and where do I get them?? 2) Or can you recommend me an alternative!! New chassis!!
