  • Purchase advice for Audi Cabrios

    Hello, I am still looking for an Audi convertible, only as a third car for the next summer season. Just want to have a convertible again, after we have given it to my wife.. The selection is still relatively large and it starts with the first years of construction from approx. 3000€. The question is only what should be paid special attention. I fluctuate between the nevertheless quite robust 5cylinder, or one of the two V6, whereby I would like the 2.8er already. Only the V6 are, as is well known, more prone to repair than the 5cylinder. One hears of broken cats, broken ZKDs, high oil consumption etc.. Is this really so bad that you should leave your fingers off of it? I recently had a 2.8 test run, which was already fun and sounded really good. No leaks were to be noticed, only the front axle was already a bit clapping, which is why I did not take it. I would be happy if there were a lot of problems here. Is a certain year recommended, there are problems with the el. cover etc.. I just wait for feedback from the convertible owners here.     Moin, moin I am now proud owner of an Audi 80 Type 81 πŸ˜€ picked him up today and can’t wait to get started.   • Rugging at low speed – 90 hp diesel

    Hello everybody!!!!!!!!!! As at the beginning of every autumn my car makes me again problems πŸ™ the following problem: now that it has cooled down strongly outside, it starts to jerk strongly at “low” speed!!! My car: Audi 80 B4, 90 HP TDI, Limo, BJ 94, 270 000 km The whole looks like this: zb:. off to work – highway – you drive with relatively cold engine on the highway with heavy traffic – cozy with 110 km/h – about 2200 tours on the 5th aisle there and then want to get some schleuni because the traffic lights up and then it starts to bump extremely strongly or jerk what does not stop at all until you switch down to the 4th gear, which then naturally has to follow increased speed (approx. 2500 to 3000 tours)!! Then everything is ok again!!! What still goes on is that you just push the gas pedal completely through to the stop, then it also does not start to jerk or just short!!!! The whole thing I noticed already in the summer with cold engine, abe r by far not so strong and so long time!!!! with warm motor it almost does not come to the error!!! only very rarely and then almost not noticeable!! First I had to borrow the turbo in suspicion because the only at about 1500 to 2000 tours (I did not exactly look) starts (low speed), but as after longer observation comes out the jerking even if the turbo has already used!!!! It definitely rips the gear lever back and forth and the whole car look It’s like crazy!!!! It’s almost just going down and turning up and then up!!! Of course, the whole thing doesn’t just happen on the highway – even in the local area if you want to ride a small mountain with 50 kmh with the 3rd gear – you have relatively little speed again – it starts to bump and jerk!!!!! especially with a diesel where you actually have a lot of power at low speed and of course, that’s a lot high. ervige matter!!! can one with this error a mechanical error – drive shaft or so exclude?????? I would rather tap motor control – air mass meter or so or diesel injection!!!!! what would you say?????? Please thank you for the infos!!!!!!

  • Compressor or G-charger to the ABB???

    Good morning, is it actually possible to build a G-loader or compressor at the ABC? And does the ABC hold out the possible extra power? Must be changed at the control unit, exhaust system, braking system and and and and and what. Which basic engine does the Corrado G60 actually have? So I would be interested in how much power the engine has without the G-loader and how much the power would “be” or “could” increase at my ABC. Don’t hit and don’t shout “Buy other car”. I’m sorry, but I don’t think so.

  • Brakes B4 Avant TDI

  • Alarm system in Audi 80 Cabrio Bjh. 93

  • Various problems with Coupe with Abk engine

    Hi I have as mentioned above a few problems with my Coupe. 1. Now my brother thinks that’s crap, because then the (have forgotten the exact word) “empty injection” would start and I would have consumption with it.
