I’m on the highway today and when I change lane at 140 km/h, the car started to vibrate in the front. But it wasn’t easy to vibrate… it was like on a hump-piste or as if I was running over railway sleepers. Totally crazy! Then I went back to the right lane and thought about a damaged road surface. A few minutes later I tried it again and it happened again. The (concrete) motorway was obviously completely ok. Inside I noticed nothing. I also rarely drive 140 km/h. Are there forecasts? Muffler perhaps? I know that my track rod head is emptied out according to the workshop. Can that be the reason? I will have to have A.T.U. (forgive me) and a ride check done tomorrow. So that they don’t happen to be completely exploited, because I won’t be able to repair it… I’ll probably buy something there.

Audi 80 B3 1.8 Injection valve ?
Audi 80 1.8s MKB PM and fabulous 90 ps hall oils and that’s what I have the following problem …. Boys and you really have to help me because slowly it annoys. So my little momi has the unusual problem that she makes from 3000 or even times at 4000 rpm. A set as if the gasoline was going out abruptly. No more wild. Did this WE want to put me on it and look after it. Problem has gone home today from work (13 clock) and with slow braking, because of red traffic light, the box went off and jumped no more. Anyway my grandmother to let go home and look after it. Here was determined that no injection takes place. So first petrol pump pipes checked on constipation and to the closing line of carburetor screwed off and ignition of petrol comes to the carburetor only not to the puncture valve. The valve is expanded and again ignition of gasoline is only not coming further up to the valve. The electrical contact on the valve can also get electricity if only in an unusual amount of gas.

Quattro problems?
Hello guys, I have a little problem with my Quattro, and I slipped today on a frozen snow heap so that both front wheels were hung in the air. Since the rear axle was on the ground I thought to myself, “no problem, did not have all-wheeled” nevertheless see there the rear axle has done nothing, the front rowed like crazy but back garnix… Normal white should lock the middle differential when the front wheels have slipped or am I wrong now? After placing wooden boards under the front wheels have turned all 4 tires at once again however. Since today I am a little confused about this. Vehicle is a: C4 Quattro automatic Bj. 1994 MKB: AAH GKB: former CEZ, now CNT running power 210000km Then still a question to not have to open a new thread, there is a possibility to build a multitronic gear on the engine? Bzw. at least 5 gear the 4 gear is neither sporty nor economical.

Purchase advice 80s Cabriolet, 1.8s or 2.3s? Pro and contras
Hello, we want to buy an Audi convertible. Personally, I find the 2.3er a super machine and the sound is awesome. I also think that the 1.8er is a good machine and cheaper in maintenance, with almost the same driving performance. I want to drive the weighing machine in everyday operation and probably it will replace my current one. I used to drive an 80er Limo with the 136hp 2.3er and that was just awesome. Just hold the fuel consumption and the high tax with Euro 1 was ned so great. Think that’s no longer contemporary. I am looking for a good fun but at the same time uncomplicated and reliable car. Was there the convertible also as Quattro? Or only the coupe. That might also be a question? What should I pay attention to? I actually wanted to spend up to 4000 euros, but it will probably be thinly sewn with the 1.8er. Hope for your help, Thank you in advance… MfG Livestylekombi

Audi 80 B4 no longer starts at once
Hello, unfortunately I have an urgent problem with my B4. When I wanted to drive home from work today, the Audi just didn’t jump any more. The battery is fine, electricity is still available. Also the ignition comes and I can read the temperature and petrol level. When I turn the key, the starter goes off, but no reaction. As if there was no more petrol, but have still 3/4 the tank full. What still could be important: -The engine has oil loss, aucf about 1000km I need 1 liter of oil -In the idle run comes after a few seconds of white smoke from the exhaust and it smells very unpleasant – during the ride it is as good as never -I regularly did during the drive, especially when giving gas at approx. 70-80 km of short Ruckler and the gas stops then – as if there was no fuel – according to my workshop was manipulated at the petrol pump – it does not turn off itself after the engine is turned off and therefore runs on What do you think where the problem lies? The car today was all day in the heat cooled off, it would be very happy again.

distorted radio/CD playback
Hello, in the hope of finally being able to solve a problem, I now also turn to the forum participants. Have an Audi Cabriolet ( Audi 80 ) built in 1992, 2.3 liters. When I bought about 4 years ago the original radio with original loudspeakers was installed. I had an JVC KD – R 301 installed in the specialist store. Now I have the following problem. I drive with the car above the 100 km/h the playback over all four loudspeakers is so distorted ( pulsating noise ) that almost nothing can be heard. No matter if I have the radio switched on, a CD played or the MP 3 player is operated. If I am below the 100 km/h everything is again in the green area. DEr specialist trade has checked the radio as perfectly. The store is now no longer available. In the meantime, on recommendation, I have exchanged the FrontLS ( Nokia ) against Crunch DSX 42. It has not become better. I have now discussed the frgae with various dealers. Unfortunately I do not get any answer, the answer leads me to a mistake.

Audi “80” Convertible: Remodeling the top on manually in exchange
Hello, who drives an Audi convertible with manual cover and wants to have an electric cover? Offer all the necessary components from a year 98 in exchange. You should do the conversion, so that afterwards your convertible with electric cover is there and mine with manual cover. Longer access no problem, I can spare the car a week. I’m curious if what comes 😀 greetings Rick

Engine does what he wants….2, 6L V6
We bought an Audi 80 Avant 2.6 V6. At the beginning of February. The problem was concealed and played around, which we got wind only after purchase and after collection of it. Display was placed. The engine jerked in the cold start (sellers probably ran warm when watching and picking up). Turned between 1200 and 1300 revolutions and went out. Had baggers from 1200 to 100 (so almost off), but started again and ran up again too high. Qualted very strongly from the exhaust. Compression was at 3-4 cylinders well down. Between 5-8 bar. In the warm condition he ran well. Zog. Speed at 800-900 bar. Until he was warm I stood to house 10 minutes with the always spinning car around before I started. The last end he got hot and did not jump on yet. Engine was changed. However, the new engine got all seals and wedges and toothbelts (plus water pump etc.) again. Sprung at the first start directly. Lief on the first day he went great. On the next day he told us about the cold start of the old problem.
