    Hello, darlings! I’ve been looking for a used mid-muffler for my Audi for weeks. As in the topic to read: Audi 90, 2.3E MKB: NG Bjhr 87 Type B3 The MSD should also have been installed in the Audi 80 B4 2.3E and possibly in a pass with 5cylinders 2.3E? If I should lie correctly/could belong to the MSD the following numbers: VW/Audi 893253078A 893253409D Eberspächer 95117012 Walker 13956 / 72200 Ernst 223010 Bosal 283-119 Tesh 260012 Leistritz Type L 82 EECnr. These numbers have dealers at Ebay for optical and technically suitable MSDs in auctions. If someone has used such a sweetheart, I would be happy about it.

    Hello everybody, Does any of you have instructions for changing the heat exchanger from the Audi 80 B4 (without air conditioning) ready? Because with me the windscreen is running all the time, and an attempt with cooler sealant only brought moderate to almost no success. Is it a big effort with the Audi?   • Audi 80 Coupe Type85 is not running properly / idle

    Hello, my engine wasn’t running right anymore… A little complicated! Audi Coupe Quattro, BJ 86, type 85, 100KW, KV, fan manifold,… Short of history: engine went great, no problems… vehicle was completely dismantled and restored. was finally ready again that I could make first start attempts. No modifications were made compared to the previous condition in relation to the engine, only replaced the underpressure lines, new ignition cables and everything completely cleaned… So at the first start attempts the engine ran generally very restless and smoked rather white… At low speed as if only 4 or 3 cylinders would run, at higher speed then somewhat nicer, at idle speed then died away immediately… spark plugs switched and spark checked, everything ok. My further guess was then the injection. Have again cleaned all the gasoline lines and the complete injection. Empty running controllers laid down and cleaned… Yesterday then again the next attempt was due: engine ran very bad, then super wet… So I got rid of it then ran roundly and cleaned up after 1min. Did not have a constant run again.

    Hello together, I’ve been driving my b4 avant with the 2.6 liter machine for about a year now. Now cool water disappears from the balance tank. But suddenly it appears in my driver’s footroom. Since I like to drive barefoot in general, I even notice that if I give me some really warm water sprays on my feet. Now my question is what could have happened and how I fix the error myself.   • Motor does not start and too high idle speed

    Hello, my 80s – type 89 – PM still makes me crazy. In the morning he doesn’t want to start, always takes a good 20 seconds to ignition until he finally arrives and takes a good half minute until he has reached his nearly 1000 revolutions in a stable way. If I just start it, it can come to Ruckler and sudden power loss, but after a few minutes it then runs perfectly. But then I switch off the engine, e.g. go shopping and then want to start again, he jumps immediately but the speed shoots up to 1800 high and stays there. Oftentimes the idle speed dances between 1800 and 2200. When the water temperature reaches approx. 90°, the speed drops back to approx. 1000 and the car behaves great. Unfortunately, I am with my Latin at the end and would ask for helpful tips, what I could test that can trigger these phenomena. Have already changed caps, fingers, ignition lines and candles – everything without improvement. Recently I replaced the petrol filter, which has brought an improvement. Before I could start the car again?

  • sudden power drop

    with my audi 80 avant with abt engine something strange happened earlier: on the highway at about 120 he suddenly became slower and slower, then the lights for temperature and oil level went on. temperature display was normal at 95o. I stopped, waited something and checked the oil level. which was ok. dripped or tormented also nothing. so I went on for the first time, without giving again real gas. has someone ne idea what that can be? I am grateful for every hint!

  • Audi 80 timing belt change

    Hello guys. I just had to change the cylinder head with all the seals and new WP with an Audi 80 of 95 engine code ABT. I looked up in the Audi 80 book and didn’t get smart how exactly the two lower gears should stand off the timing belt so that I can pull up the timing belt again. If I understood the picture correctly the two would have to stand in about the right place or ? M.f.G. Claude
