  • Audi 80 “ABK” , consumption 10L / 100km OK?

Dear Audi-Community, For about 1.5 years now you have an Audi 80, year 1994 ABK and for about half a year I have noticed the following: Consumptions about 10L on 100km with moderate driving mode (U/min at an average of approx. 2500-3000). Move my Audi usually about 50% on the road, 40% in the city and 10% on the highway. The cooling water temperature does not move above 80°C except in the traffic jam (between 90°C – 100°C). Can this multi-busch lie alone on the thermostat? For I know an average consumption of 8 L to 100 km for this motorization. Oil consumption about 1 L to 1500 km. I am grateful for every hint ! Thank you and love greetings from Switzerland

  • Motor revision V6 has started

So people as promised I started to overtake the engine from my landlord’s Audi today. Here are the first pictures:http://sludeck.bei.hosthome.de/auto/tuglu/auto1%20014.JPGhttp://sludeck.be.hosthome.de/auto/tuglu/auto1%20015.JPGhttp://sludeck.be.hosthome.de/auto/tuglu/auto1%20016.JPGhttp://sludeck.be.hosthome.de/auto/tuglu/auto1%20018.JPGhttp://sludeck.be.hosthome.de/auto/tuglu/auto1%20020.JPGhttp://sludeck.be.hosthome.de/auto/tuglu/auto1%20021.JPGhttp://sludeck.be.hosthome.dd e/auto/tuglu/auto1%20022.JPG Must say so far has gone as well as everything perfect. And that’s well noticed my first time that I completely lay the head. Eine question still, with what kind of sandpaper (so how fine) do I clean the valves? Tomorrow it goes on. Who still wants special pictures just says, the 2nd head is still completely installed so can still make all pictures of the expansion. P.s. on the 1st picture is my renter

  • Chassis or just dampers ???

Hello to each other! I did not find the right answer about the search again and therefore still started the chassis topic. Yesterday car from the workshop can be mounted and registered from the rim, let the track be adjusted already 2 times (not cheap) and now they tell me my shock absorbers are in the ass and still two so parts why you can not set the track correctly. Now of course they wanted to turn on a chassis (comic new workshop management) …) and when I asked for the price “naja so 400 – 500 €”. But did not have to let my car somehow lower because I often drive full load and dirt roads or scrapy roads. My question(s) now: Do I really need a complete chassis or rich shock absorbers? Do you have to change springs if you do NOT want to lower them? (read: “Nearly no wear on springs” Where do I get cheap replacement dampers? Nervt me quite nicely, in the past they wanted to put you in the But since the new master is there…..naja….. Thank you very much!! MfG Dunsch

  • Audi 80 b3 1.9E

Hi! I just signed up here but I’ve been busy reading for weeks. I ordered 17zoller for my B3 limousine and wanted to ask if they fit under it without any problems. If so, how about a later planned lowering? Still all bumpers and sidebars are black, but had planned to paint this white. Is this worth it? Because in the near future had to replace the original bumpers. rfer cleaning system (2 thick rectangular knob) on the front and also no flashers in the bumper, only the NSW’s and I find this looks so shitty… Back is even worse, is currently an AHK installed, but also a 90s tailpipe round, which was welded directly to the ESD. Just because the bumper was cut out by the previous owner and I still have the headlight cleaning system in front, I wonder if a self-made paintwork even makes sense or if I should grab new bumpers right away? Oh, the color of the car is white and with black bumpers it just looks terrible. So guys, always get your advice, opinions, suggestions! Alex is by the way an image of my future rims, matured with 225/45 8J 17 rims. I know it’s “only” ATU rims, but the stupid lid can also be exchanged/overpainted and only connoisseurs know then that it’s ATU rims… nzipiell don’t have anything against ATU, only if it’s too clear, then I admit I’ll smile about it when I see it on another car.

  • 2.3 Coupe with automatic???

I am looking for a Coupe 88er-95er BJ preferred with 5 cylinders. Now I have found one which corresponds to my wish in almost all points – only … it has an automatic transmission. The car should replace the Odie in winter and also serve as a long-distance vehicle. What are the driving performance (and consumption) in relation to the switch? What about the resale?

  • Minikat upgrade wrong year of construction!

Hi guys, I know that the topic of emission standards was already represented. I have a new problem. I drive an Audi Cabrio 2.3 liters NG I wanted to get a minicat now to save taxes. The data from the manufacturers also all agree. Except the year of construction always from 1992 I thought that the road rolled in 1992. but no with me is in appearance in 1990 but at all share in the vehicle in 1992. What now?Already someone had the case? I once had at nem Camaro that I v on Chevrolet got a write that it is the identical vehicle. Greeting Patrick

  • Oil consumption at 1000km

Hello AUDI friends! I would be very interested in how much oil your engines consume! My 2.0l ABT 66kw engine consumes about 0.5l on 1000km! Thank you for your answers!!!

  • With piston tipper on long distance?

Hello, wanted to ask if I can drive with my ABT whose piston tilts on long distance, so on vacation. Will I notice if the damage gets bigger by gradually starting to eat oil, become louder and lose power or will it at some point just get such a piston eater? I know, you can’t say that exactly but what would it be like? Staying a few hundred KM from home with engine damage I don’t get so tingling r. Normally I rarely drive further than 60 KM from my place of residence.

  • Brake rear axle 1.9 TDI Year of construction 1993

Hello. My brake system is defective. More precisely on the right rear axle brake fluid runs out. I suspect that the used brake caliper recently installed by the workshop is defective. My question is actually, what was installed at the 1,9 TDI year 1993, Limosine with disc brake on the rear axle for brake caliper?? I unfortunately did not find it in my clever book “Now I help myself”, and I did not find it here when searching. I had the car in the workshop three (3) times as far as the brake is concerned. And also at the pickerl three months ago something was done on the brake. Oh yes, there is a girling on the front axle. Please answer. MfG

  • Questions about the sale of my 80s

Tach together, will now sell my Audi 80 and would like to know what I can ask for or what you would pay for, now to the car so it’s an Audi 80 B4 2.0l 66kw, 156tkm, silver, Limo, AHK, new battery, new heat exchanger, new brake hoses, spark plugs new, new distributor cap, new crossbars and coupling rods, front shock absorbers 1 year old, winter tires 11/07 bought (Pirelli SnowSport) and good summer tires I also add accident-free defects: traces of use at the age normal, cylinder head gasket has to be made and the belt should also be changed, door back left has two bumps in it but not very big What do you think I can get for it? The highest bid was 600€…
