  • Engine ticks at Coupe 2.0E

    Servus together, after the first 4 months with my Coupe I notice gradually more and more, that there is not everything so quite in order. Let’s start at the front: It always does quite nicely only after a few seconds in the stand the speed suddenly goes enormously downwards, almost until the engine dies down, then the speed catches again reasonably. When I then start (no matter at which gas position) the engine jerks extremely and swallows itself, after 200m it goes again, then you go then It’s all from the front until the engine is at about 90°C. During the ride I notice more and more often that this can’t be the promised 116 hp, because even my mother’s 80 hp Golf 6 pulls better. So there seems to be some power lost somewhere, but where? If it helps, a few facts about the car: Servo pump goes more or less with a cold engine, not at all with a warm engine, Kat is no longer inside, engine has 176k km guesses: Ignition must We can set spark plugs or injection nozzles, lambda probe is down or gets false air, petrol pump is down.     Hello, since yesterday I have been driving regularly with my convertible 2.6 out of 96. I noticed that the engine temperature remains normal in the stand or when driving slowly, i.e. 90°.     Hello! I tested my new sports exhaust today, is a FOX system, from KAT. Acceleration in different gears, on a road with a slight incline. 40 – 120 in the 3rd gear returned 25s series, 24.5s with sports exhaust 40 – 120 in the 4th gear returned 34.5s series, 35s with sports exhaust 60 – 120 in the 5th gear returned 37.25s series, 36s with sports exhaust So, much noise about nothing. Seriously, the thing is so loud. Does anyone have experience how to protect the interior from the noise? My idea would be, Glue insulation mats between heat shields and wagon floor.

  • Change of piston rings at the AAH – Which manufacturer is recommended?

    The title says it already. I want (or, according to an acquaintance) to have the piston rings changed in the context of my upcoming big engine sealing action. Now I sit in front of the computer and find – as so often – of course piston rings from different manufacturers. The world would be so simple, if there were only one manufacturer for everything and only one screw size. Unfortunately, it is not (yet) like this and I have to decide for a manufacturer at some point. read now and again grinds, goats and pistons. There are significant differences in quality.   • C4 vibration front axle right

    Hello guys, maybe someone can help me here. For months I have had the following problem with my Audi C4 2.8 E front drive: At speeds from about 130 km/h there are vibrations, in my opinion from the right front axle. These are getting stronger and stronger with increasing speed. Partially so that the Navi flies out of the bracket. Strange, however, it is there, sometimes it is gone. I have already visited various workshops and the following has already been changed: Brake discs including rubber wheels balanced- Stabis new- gear bearings new- wheel bearings new- dome bearings and dampers, all without success. Now I have the assumption that it might be the drive shaft. Does anyone know about you? What else should it be, almost everything has been changed?

    Hi people I bought a 87 B3 Quattro 1.8 JN With KE Jetronic now to the problem it is starting well then 2-3 secunden on approx. 1100rottenunegn, then starts to jerk stutter until it goes out!. again start immediately again, then it stays on but squirts at 500 turns around! gazing doesn’t go out immediately. that whole goes like this 2-3 minutes then he also takes more bad than quite ferocious!
