Hello, I’m writing a problem for an acquaintance here, he bought an Audi A2 from 2000 it’s a 1.4 75 ps gasoline. He has the problem that the engine is shaking extremely at 50-55 kmh and a certain speed and the whole car is shaking, but as soon as you give it a little bit of gas everything is gone again. In the stand he runs completely quiet and without a dropout. The error memory is also empty Had maybe someone this problem or a similar problem, so that he Maybe knows where he has to start to solve the problem and he drives back reasonable without shivering stuttering greetings

Rear bumper
Sad but true my wife broke the rear bumper of her ball today Unfortunately when driving backwards on a bollard. The bumper is torn to about 20 cm With a hot air fan I could at least fix the pressed bump again then first glued off the crack on full length with tape that she can drive with it to work tomorrow with it. the bumper is back made of plastic How can I best stick it from below k In the weather situation, I certainly cannot extend the bumper as an open-air screwdriver. My idea would now be to glue glass-fibre mats from the inside the crack with any one glass fiber – fill up spatula and then stick as a lamination rubber impact protection on how would you proceed Thanks for the help Sch… Yesterday only the car with fresh TÜV without defects and new oil brought out of the workshop.

Towing operation
Hello together, before everything slips off in Chiptuninh, still on the topic of trailer operation, especially costs of the trailer coupling.I had it installed in the Audi center Fulda last week – a very fine part and you can’t see anything and you can put the removed clutch head in a storage compartment already provided for this purpose at the tool.Costs: 990,–€.A fair price, especially with regard to the fact that all “free” like ATU and others press an A2 – these cowards! ch times a praise for the friendly… misteralu A2,1,4 TDI 90 PS EZ 6/06

Possibly buy A2, fare to 1.4 petrol
Since I’m looking for new used ones, the idiosyncratic A2 overn ran away, which I like so much and as I know it should be quite good! My question without being too annoying is whether the 1.4-series had the Euro 4 (will probably be important soon) and whether this is the same problem engine as from the VW shelf? Oh and what do you think are running speeds of 200tkm and more feasible? The car now has 75tkm and should be at least 4 years of service possibly also longer! what does it look like with spare parts (+prices), Audi has such a slight problem with expired models!?!?

TDI engine and service life
Dear A2-experts. Last time I chased my A2 (almost 173tkm) over a long stretch (2x 650km) (tempomat constantly in at 180), that I almost get a bad certain. Over this weekend I was 500km with my 1,000 kg caravan, mountain and valley, on the way. Question, does full throttle 4,000 U greatly reduce the life of the engine?

Tension roller of the timing belt-1.4 petrol engine
Hello friends of the Alukugel, on the 1.5. on the highway at approx. 150 km/h without any warning the lower tensioning roller of the timing belt said goodbye! The plastic jacket of the camp split into two parts! Luckily the Plunder has wedged in a corner of the timing belt cover and did not get into the belt drive. So I was still able to drive home unharmed. Has such a thing happened already? I think that is such a bad quality that not even 80 Both timing belts, on the other hand, still look almost new, as well as the upper tensioning roller, which also has a plastic mount. I photographed the whole time. In the picture on the left the upper, on the right the lower roll. Greeting hoschi3

Newby has par beginner questions
Hello. I am already at home for some time at the BMW Forum. Since I now want to change the third time zero I want to a more reasonable and economical car. As was already mentioned here you can not get past the search on the A2! I picked out the 1.4 TDI. That should be good enough for my senses. I will use the car only private, and also mostly short distance. So about 15 to 20 tkm/a. The way to work with me with the car is omitted. Does the A2 already H7 lamps? the consumption at 75 hp really under 5 liters? On all photos I have seen the processing works cheaply. Is that so? How is the look to the back? Do you see enough? Can you do something yourself with the A2 or is there nothing left without a diagnostic system? Evtl inspection itself do? How about the taxes on the named model? Have no information about the pollutant classification! Do the seats work as long-distance seats? I drive on holidays always 2600km. r first not one. But after all, the A2 has already trumped my first consideration (Smart). I am also grateful to you if I can recommend other economical diesel. My limitation is only max 9000,-€, climate and somewhat good appearance.

Audi A2 problems?
Hi people, I’m 28 years old now and I’m looking for a nice, economical and skilled car. The Audi A2 seems to be a really interesting possibility….but I have a few concerns when I read the problems here…it’s easy to help me Interested are all three engines for me. Asp means 1.4 liters of petrol, 1.6 FSI, and 1.4 TDI 1. 1.4 liters of TDI will always break the turbocharger. Can you narrow that down to the year of construction or are they all? Re problems? 2. 1.6 FSI, probably takes on bad gas and sometimes makes you mute. In addition extremely expensive workshop costs (inspection) further problems? 3. About the small petrol engine les i little bad. Is this the best? Is there anything to consider? Thank you for your help

TÜV due – which defects were only discovered there?
Hello A2-Freunde, This thread is only aimed at those who have the TÜV acceptance carried out by the official TÜV. For the second possibility there are also a number of workshops. My A2 has just a TÜV acceptance incl. AU in a “A1” workshop behind it. The description of my friend is here at the bottom. Only the KM stand is missing: 108t. Apart from a leaky drive shaft cuff (right inside) everything ok. Questions about this in a sepa guess thread. Question to those who have the TÜV-test of their A2 carried out at the official TÜV: Have any defects been discovered on an unaltered series-production vehicle only during the TÜV-test, although the car was recently checked in the workshop or itself for defects? Greetings Blacky
