  • Grate on the brake discs

    Hello together, 2 weeks ago I had my summer tyres put on (not at my Audi dealer but at another workshop) The workshop pointed out that there was a strong rust on the brake discs, which I should urgently complain about. I bought the car in February. After it was on the TÜV report “Rost on the brake discs”, I told my dealer that this would “brake away” after a short time.   • A2, 1.4TDI fuel consumption too high!

With the summer tires205/70R17 I have always used 6,2 to 6,7 liters/100km, short distance, long distance (50-100km) mixed. Now with the winter tires 155/65R15 it is not much different. Otherwise the bowl runs like a one! Another problem is the tailgate. In sunshine it sometimes happens that the flap cannot be closed by slamming. Also the fog lights should be at risk of breaking. How are your experiences (except for what I have already read) especially with the newer series? Of the resale value the second is certainly the best.   • Corrugated brake discs

  • A2 (1.4 petrol) does not start in warm condition!

    For two/three weeks, our second car (1.4/75hp/petrol/Bj2000/85000km) has the following problem: As long as the engine is cold, the car starts without problems…. As soon as it is warm (about 8km to the KiGa) the following picture is presented: Ignition on – key on start – starter turns – no error messages – BUT the car doesn’t start… it also “hears” everything “normal” … only the engine doesn’t start. The game repeats endless times until the engine starts – at the beginning only with about 600 tours and rises after a few seconds up to 1500/min to have the foot on the accelerator pedal (including the “blue” cloud from the exhaust)! After another moment the speed normalizes and you can drive with the A2 without any problems… According to our workshop there is nothing to be found in the fault memory and a superficial control of the relevant components also did not succeed.   • A2 is only 120 left!

    Hello everyone, our Audi A2 1.4 TDI only drives 120. I think there’s something wrong with the turbocharger! We can determine if the engine is completely defective or if there’s only one problem with the air volume meter like my old Golf TDI? Can you fix it at once? I mean the air volume meter?
